Wow! A beautiful love story that is born between fear and lies.
The first thing that caught my attention was the beautiful cover, but the plot and the author's writing style caught me immediately.
Lillian has healing powers and a seriously ill sister, but not enough energy to heal her. Tristan is a billionaire, but he is also a near inexhaustible source of energy, but he also has his sick mother with Huntington's. Enter Kinetica, an organization whose goal is to create a super healer at any cost. From there, things get more and more interesting!
Now I would love to read Hannah and Brian's story!
I thank Amanda Uhl and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.
The opinion I have expressed above is based solely on what I think and feel about this book.

I really felt for Lillian as a main character, it worked well overall with what I was looking for. I enjoyed how good the plot was and thought it worked well in the supernatural. The characters were what I was expecting and it did everything that I was hoping for. Amanda Uhl has a great writing style and I'm glad I got to read this.

"She forced her fingers open one by one. She’d never be able to cure Hannah while wound tight like this. She drew in air and let it out—another desperate bid to relax. It wasn’t working. She should have kept quiet on the way to the hospital. Talking with Tristan had only increased her curiosity and reminded her of all she was missing in her life. And his close proximity had her so on edge, she was unable to think clearly or even breathe. He was all warm musky male and mint and power."

A big thank you to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. l enjoyed this book, it was a quick read. Lillian has an amazing power to heal. She meets, Tristan who has excess energy and can reenergize Lilliam quickly. Interesting story line. I am not sure if this is part of a series, but could be.

Lilian is a psychic healer. She is on the run and hiding from a secret organisation that killed her mother. She doesn’t have any hope of outwitting the organisation until she meets Tristan. Tristan is a Tech mogul and philanthropist. Everything changes for Lilian when she meets him.
This is such an exciting book to read. I was immediately drawn into the story and was desperate to find out how it ended but perversely I also didn’t want it to end. It’s well written and held my attention from the first page to the last. I can’t wait to read Hannah’s story.

Healing Kiss is a quick and fun read. I was able to read this in one sitting and did enjoy it. This book leans towards a romance with a hint of mystery and a little bit of magic. I enjoyed the blossoming romance between Lillian / Zoey and Tristan. The plot was good and kept a steady pace throughout. I loved seeing how Lillian was willing to do anything she could for her sister and how she was always willing to help others even putting herself at risk to do it. Beautiful story.

Thank you to Netgalley, the author and publisher for an eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Healing Kiss by Amanda Uhl is a super cute, quick, and unique read. I loved the magic system and loved the romance between Lillian and Tristan even more. This is a good book to read if you want a romantic story with a touch of magical elements that you’ve likely never seen before.

Arc provided by NetGalley! 😁

I liked it! This is a contemporary romance with some magical elements. Healing powers is one of my favorite powers out there and so this blurb immediately got me interested. Throw in a heroine hiding her powers, her having to risk being discovered to save someone's life, and a billionaire who's bent on unraveling her secrets and you got me eager to read.

The book definitely did not disappoint. It's written in third person POV which is not my preference but it worked.

The female lead, Lillian, spent most of the book scared which is totally understandable. What's important to me is that she did not let that deter her from doing what she needed to do.

The male lead, Tristan, spent most of the book chasing after Lillian. Other readers may not like that but I am all for it. There's ex drama as well and it was annoying because he thought he still had feelings for his ex in the beginning and I'm not a fan of that. He was incredibly attracted to Lillian for some reason though, so I was secured in the knowledge that the ex isn't really going to be a major issue. If you like a scene where the male lead blatantly chooses the female lead over the ex, there's definitely something like that in this book.

I really enjoyed reading this book though I'm not sure it will be a top pick for a reread for me in the future. I do recommend it though.

I loved that epilogue by the way! It made me wish it was longer and we could read more about their HEA.

Lillian Milano is summed back to Cleveland. Lillian, who goes by Zoey Mills, has been in hiding to protect herself and those she loves from a research organization that wants to use people with her healing capabilities. This same organization killed her mom. Lilly/Zoey can't ignore helping her sister, Hannah, who is gravely ill. She uses her alias and dresses in disguise, hoping to heal her sister and return to Boston before she is discovered.

At the hospital, Zoey encounters Tristan King, a wealthy computer genius, whom Zoey can tap into his energy to heal her sister. Zoey manages to plead her case by omitting details, and a bargain is struck between the two. Zoey needs to accompany Tristan as his date.

Tristan has trust issues because of being hurt in the past, and he picks up that Zoey isn't being completely honest with him. He decides to do some digging into her past.

As they spend more time together, they develop feelings for each other.

Zoey discovers some information and takes aim at Tristan's heart. It is Zoey's opportunity to flee, but first, she has one more stop to make.

I enjoyed the psychic elements of the book and found Lillian's talent unique. This was a suspenseful, action-packed, good read!

I received an ARC and I have voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

I truly enjoyed this book! This is a contemporary romance with magical elements and a heroine that has to hide her powers then have to risk being discovered to save someone's life, and a billionaire (squeals) who's bent on unraveling her secrets and well I was pretty sold into this story at this point. Both characters are enjoyable and well written. The plot is well developed and interesting which makes the reading more easy and better. If you like a book with magic, romance, the mmc having to make a choice and a story full of mystery, romance and twists then this is for you!

This book caught me by surprise!

Great storyline, fantastic characters and the added twist of some unconventional healing powers brought this book to the next level.

Please tell me that there is another book in the works so can find out more about Brian, pretty please with a cherry on top?!

A really good book with an unexpected and innovative plot, I loved Lillian's character, she was so well defined, her determination, her fears and her love for her family and for Tristan. I liked that it was fast paced but I wished it was a little bit longer, it also had a lovely execution of the romance between the main characters, from the initial distrust to their intense passion and care for each other's wellbeing.

I really liked this book! So much so that I finished it in a few hours. It is very well written and the story just flows. It has romance, suspense, and some supernatural powers.

Lillian (Zoey) has been in hiding from an organization called Kinetica. They killed her mother who had the same healing powers that she does and want to use her to experiment with to create a super healer.

Her sister, Hannah, becomes gravely ill and Lillian must return to town to try and heal her. She meets Tristan in the hospital and realizes she needs his energy to make it happen. She is afraid to tell him who she really is and why she needs him. Can she save Hannah and escape Kinetica? What will happen with the connection she feels with Tristan?

I didn’t want the story to end and can’t wait for the next one!

My Rating: ❤️❤️❤️.75

Disclaimer: I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and the author.

General Thoughts: I was pleasantly suprised by this one. I took a gamble on whether I'd like it, and I found it to be a very enjoyable read. The writing style was pleasant and easy to read, the characters were interesting, and the premise was also intriguing.

It's a very fast-paced novel, and the characters fall fast and hard. I gave it a 3.75 because while much of the novel was a 4 for me, the ending knocked it down to a 3.75. But I still enjoyed it.

I'll be keeping an eye on the author, and I'm glad I gave it a chance.

Steam Meter:🪵. I still need to come up with better graphics for when it's not overly steamy. It's definitely new adult, but it's a very tame new adult. I'd still personally recommend for 18+. I like books with all levels of steam.

Romantic Tropes
-billionaire romance
-paranormal/science fiction romance
-they fall fast

Healing kiss is romantic suspense with a healthy dose of paranormal with Lillian’s healing gift and Hannah’s empathic gift.
Lillian (Zoey) is in Cleveland to try to heal her sister Hannah of a virus. As Zoey she has been on the run for 2 years.
Tristan King is a lonely billionaire game inventor with a sick mom.
The tension of her situation had me on edge for most the book. Her fear drove her. Things would have been a bit better had she been able to trust Tristan. But I guess for good romantic suspense it needed all the events to happen. It’s just by the time we got to the big bad Lillian has been running from, the confrontation seemed a bit anticlimactic.
I enjoyed the story. I also kept thinking, just tell Tristan the truth.
A healing gift would be a huge responsibility. The story has a sweet ending, and I hope there is such an ending in store for Hannah at some future date.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to review this book.

By Amanda Uhl (sponsored through NetGalley and approved by the author/publisher)

Modern Paranormal Romance. Healing Kiss begins with the lead female character, Lillian visiting her dying sister in the hospital under a false name (to hide from people wishing her harm). She has an awkward "meet cute" moment with the leading male character, billionaire Tristan. Lillian is torn between the tension with Tristan and accepting/requesting his assistance to help her sister (and not the $).

The main characters' stories hit the ground running, and the pace stays constant as pieces of their puzzle fit together with time and as events unfold. The author Amanda Uhl has written a solid plot with a descriptive voice that opens the scenes to the reader, especially with the character's inner dialogue and struggle. Beware, if you are sensitive, there is an intimate bedroom scene. It's an enjoyable experience with ups and downs. The ending could've been a bit smoother, but it's a feel-good book overall.

Totally addictive
Lillian inherited a special gift from her mother, the ability to heal people, and she returned from Boston to help her sister when she was gravely ill but the stress of hiding from the people who wanted to kidnap her and force her to be a part of genetic experiments means that she doesn’t have the energy to heal her. But then she meets Tristan, a man with a huge energy force who she could use to help her heal her sister but he wants something in return
I loved reading Lillian and Tristan’s story, they came across as a believable and relatable couple who would do anything for their families and the people they love
I think I felt closer to Lillian than Tristan, and her fear and worry about her safety felt incredibly real, I could almost feel the danger and how that was affecting her which made her seem more vulnerable and I think why I connected with her however I did also love Tristan. He is strong and used to being in control but a huge part of his life is looking after his mother who has Huntingtons, something that no matter how much money he has there is nothing that he can do and I could feel his pain and struggle with everything which made him feel much more human to me
Tristan and Lillian’s story came alive on the page for me and I very quickly found myself pulled into their world to the extent that I had to force myself to stop reading as it was way way past bedtime! But I think that is testament to their story and how well written the book was
I would recommend this book to those who enjoy a romance with a twist which will draw you in and keep you reading

Lillian was scared for her life and her family. Tristan was in limbo concerning his relationship with his ex. Although there was a dangerous foe after her, Lillian had no choice but to resurface and help her dying sister. This story was romantic, exciting, intriguing, and captivating.
