I live five hours drive from Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons. I have spent many weekends exploring the natural beauty and seeing wildlife in both national parks. The book has lovely photos of wildlife, plants and geographic wonders. Boardwalks, hiking trails, scenic drives and viewpoints are covered in the book. Yellowstone is a unique place and there are areas that people should no wander off the path or trails. The book is informative and some of the information is more than a simple hiker would need to know. But if you are interested in more in-depth knowledge of flora and fauna this book has it. I enjoyed reading through this book and can easily see it for sale at visitor centers and gateway entrances to the parks. I look forward to pulling out my National Parks pass and visiting these parks again. Thank you Timber Press for the temporary ARC via NetGalley and I am leaving a voluntary review.

Yellowstone and Grand Teton’s Best Nature Walks by Roddy Scheer is a brilliant guide to hikes in this incredible landscape.

The first thing that caught my eye was how well the book was laid out, with the site, the location, the difficulty and length of hike. The layout was eye-catching and concise and personable in its narrative. Secondly, the photographs and illustrations are stunning. Finally, the content is rich and thorough, perfect for someone who likes to learn about a place thoroughly before they go there

All in all, a delightful read

Thank you very much to Netgalley, Timber Press and Roddy Scheer for this wonderful ARC. My review is left voluntarily and all opinions are my own
