On the 1st of February 2017, Clover Roseleaf witnesses an unjust amputation of her twin sister Daisy’s hand. This pushes Clover, a fairy who has spent her whole life fantasising about murder and death, to exact revenge and poison the doctor who performed the procedure and her mother for bringing the man into their quaint home in Cyclamenton. Is this what the goddess Flora envisioned for Clover when she made her? And is this really what Daisy needs after everything that’s happened?
