A commentary on technology and the importance of creativity and engaging in the arts. Being a different robot meant that the robot was curious and he brought this back to his friends.

Thank you NetGalley, Charlesbridge, and David Biedrzycki for the early access copy of ARTificial Intelligence.

ARTificial Intelligence tells the story of a robot who is different from the other robots around them.. While the other robots follow orders, the protagonist "Robot" dreams of colours and images. Robot runs into issues because of their daydreaming, and after an accident ends up in the real world seeing the beauty of different artforms. When Robot returns home, they introduce the concept to the other robots.

ARTificial Intelligence is a beautifully illustrated children's book that shows a protagonist who is different from others, and it enriches everyone's life when the protagonist is no longer forced to fit within the normal mold. This would be a great tool to teach children about self-love, self-awareness, and following your dreams.

REVIEW ON GOODERADS:
Thanks to NetGalley for the e-ARC in exchange of an honest review.

Loved the illustrations and the story behind them. Our Summer Reading will be featuring art next year and I want to add this title to our to-be-read list!

What shines through this narrative is its poignant message about staying true to oneself and the power of inspiration. Through the robot’s determination to pursue his passion, the book beautifully illustrates how embracing individuality can not only enrich one’s own life but also inspire others to discover their own interests. A must-read for young minds eager to explore the depths of creativity and the beauty of being true to oneself.

Thank you to Net Galley and Charlesbridge for the opportunity to read this eARC. I loved the illustrations and the contrast of the bright colors of the artwork to the grays of the robots. Robot isn't very good at just doing his work in the warehouse with the rest of the robots. When he accidentally ends up outside, his world is changed by the discovery of art. This is a great story about finding what you love and sharing it with your friends and the world.
