Here at Quirk Books, we’re thrilled to welcome requests from all NetGalley users. However, we’re most interested in making connections with bloggers, booksellers, educators, librarians, and media.
We check our requests almost daily. If you get a no, chances are it’s because you didn’t provide enough information in your profile. Make sure you’re telling us (and all publishers!) a bit about yourself, including links to your platforms!
Booksellers, Librarians, & Educators: Almost always immediately approved, as long as your profile page has relevant information about your bookstore, library, or school.
Bloggers: Quirk. Loves. Bloggers. If you want to increase your chances of having an ARC request granted, make sure your profile talks about your blog and mentions your reach.
Just a little extra information really helps us out, and subsequently, that helps out our books and authors when we dish out review copies.
Book Lovers & Eager Readers: Hey! We like you guys too! Are you on Goodreads? Awesome! Make sure you’re mentioning that in your profile and provide a link to your public profile. If you’re actively reviewing books, chances are you’ll get an approval. Booksellers, librarians, educators, and bloggers do receive priority though.
Now, are you approved? Awesome! If you can post your review and notify us via NetGalley, we’d really appreciate it. Have follow up questions about your review? Maybe want to interview the author on your blog or request materials for your library or bookstore? Also awesome! You’re more than welcome to email marketing@quirkbooks.com.
Thanks, readers!
