B&H PUBLISHING GROUP AND NETGALLEY ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Nashville, TN, June 28, 2010—B&H Publishing Group and NetGalley announce an official partnership to deliver galleys, promotional materials, and other content digitally. NetGalley allows publishers to reduce the costs associated with traditional galley mailings as well as providing access to NetGalley’s growing community of reviewers, booksellers, bloggers, librarians, media professionals, and educators.

B&H Publishing Group’s participation begins immediately, taking advantage of the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA)’s recent partnership with NetGalley. ECPA member publishers can participate in NetGalley at a special member benefit rate as a result of the partnership.

“NetGalley is a valuable marketing tool that allows us to introduce content, covers, multi-media materials and author information to key media and reviewers a lot earlier than through the traditional print galley process,” said Julie Gwinn, Trade Book Marketing at B&H.

NetGalley allows B&H Publishing Group to offer galleys—including full-color, illustrated titles like their Children’s Illustrated Study Bible—and digital press kits (including book trailers, audio and video files, press materials, images, etc) all in a central location. Those with approved access will be able to download secure galley files to read on their computers or devices such as the Kindle, nook, and Sony Reader. There is no charge for readers to register or use the site.

The books featured at launch are among B&H Publishing Group’s key late Summer and early Fall titles with authors attending ICRS:

Havah by Tosca Lee

Fear No Evil by Robin Caroll

Radiant: Living as Light in a Dark World by Marian Jordan

The Confirmation by Ralph Reed

Rooms by James Rubart

American Heroes in Special Operations by Col. Oliver North
