CARINA PRESS AND NETGALLEY ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Toronto, June 1, 2010—Carina Press, the new digital-first publishing imprint of Harlequin Enterprises Limited, and NetGalley, a website that provides digital galleys and press kits to book reviewers, announced an official partnership today to deliver galleys, promotional materials and other content digitally.
Carina Press will launch on June 7, 2010, with a broad range of fiction and an emphasis on romance and its subgenres, including science fiction, fantasy, erotica, gay/lesbian, mystery, suspense and thrillers. Carina Press’s participation in the NetGalley program begins immediately.

Reviewers with approved access will be able to download Carina Press galley files to read on their computers or dedicated ereading devices such as the Kindle, nook and Sony Reader.
Since Carina Press is dedicated to offering their content DRM-free (without Digital Rights Management), their galleys will be readable on any number of mobile devices, including the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch and BlackBerry. Moreover, Carina Press digital galleys carry no expiration date. Carina Press will be uploading ePUB files to NetGalley to provide a superior reading experience.
There is no charge for reviewers to register or use NetGalley.
The books to be featured at launch include Motor City Fae by Cindy Spencer Pape, Exclusively Yours by Shannon Stacey, Song of Seduction by Carrie Lofty, Dark and Disorderly by Bernita Harris, Lovely by Kris Starr, Life After Joe by Harper Fox and In Enemy Hands by K. S. Augustin.
