I just couldn't finish this book. Terribly disappointing because I adore Sarah Castille's writing style. I just couldn't connect to the characters. Such a shame.

This was great! I could not put the book down, both the characters and the story was interesting. I can't wait for the next one.

When I requested this book I had no idea that it was about a Dom sub relationship. If I had I would not have requested this. I am not a fan of the genre and I think it would be unfair of me to review this knowing that I will be biased against it. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Sarah Castille is such a talented writer and fighting attraction was such a hot book!!

Oh how I enjoyed reading this story..first the characters are brilliant, so complex and multifaceted, then the story with various characters interconnected and different layers and situations.
I adored penny..she is something else. Always happy and there for everyone, but she hides a big secret and the mask she wears is a pretty effective one..I swear I could hear the accent lol and the things she says are at times very funny.
Jack is hiding something too and he too wears a mask, a pretty effective one.
A job brings Penny to discover his secret and from there the attraction that was always dancing under the surface started to burn brighter and brighter.
There are many obstacles to overcome, but mostly they come from them and their insecurities and pasts.
I loved seeing them foght again and again for themselves and their relationship.
Great story!

This is another great addition to this series ! Jack and Penny such a great story.
Jack is known in the MMA world as Redemption but for those that really know his true side he is hiding a deep dark secret. He needs the fight to feel the pain . Penny she is certainly the last gal that you would expect to be with Jack. She is a prim and proper lady that becomes intrigued with Jack upon meeting him outside of the rink! Such a great story !!

The funny thing about this friends to lovers book was that is was pretty good. I can always do without BDSM because it's not what I enjoy reading, but I found a couple parts in this funny. How Rampage would see all the other guys whipped by their women and he's all over here "I'm totally cool by myself!" I had to rate this on the scale I use for books that aren't in my wheelhouse, which is why it still got 4 stars. It had a great plot. Character development was at an all time high. It was funny in parts (whether it was meant to be...) I would recommend if you like the series!

Not only is Fighting Attraction the fourth and final book in the Redemption series, it's also the first novel in the series I've read, my first MMA novel, and the first novel I've read by this author. Usually, when I find that I'm reading the last book in a series, I tend to feel totally lost at the outset because I haven't a clue about any of the characters or what happened to them in earlier novels, but in the case of Fighting Attraction, it wasn't an issue at all--it works just fine as a standalone and I give it 4.75 stars.

It involves Jack "Rampage" Caldwell, a great big hunk of an MMA fighter, and the novel opens at his debut professional fight. The narrator is Penny Worthington, in attendance at the fight with her boss, Amanda, an attorney. Jack is the newest member of the Redemption MMA family, and outside the cage, he's acts like a big teddy bear, but inside the cage, he's a force to be reckoned with. Penny is immediately attracted to the tall, tattooed and toned, Rampage, and he is also attracted to her, but there's a problem--both of these characters have deep, dark, disturbing secrets, that they have no intention of divulging to each other, and those secrets form the core of this un-put-downable novel. While I'd love to go into more detail about what those secrets are, I'd rather you discover them on your own.

Told in alternating narration, we get inside the heads of Penny and Jack, both of whom are inherently damaged and broken individuals, but they somehow manage to "get" each other, and watching their rocky relationship develop, and watching these two characters learn to heal each other was deeply moving and intensely emotional. My only problem was that even though we soon learn their secrets, we learn more about why Penny is the way she is than we do about what led Jack to be who he is. We're told he's always been the way he is, but that didn't seem quite as believable as Penny's issues.

I will tell you that this is one addictive read, so much so in fact, that midway through reading it, I ordered all the preceding titles in this series and cannot wait to read them. It's definitely not for the faint of heart, or the under 18 reader, and it contains both graphic sex and graphic violence. Let me also warn you that this is perhaps one of the darkest BDSM novels I've read, with the accent on the SM. It also involves cutting, both of which may be triggers for some readers, and if it is, steer clear. Otherwise, you're in for an amazing, intensely hot, moving and highly recommended read.

It's the first time that i read a novel by Sarah Castille, and i'm not sure why i waited so long to do so, or even why i haven't heard more from her before now, before i ended up reading furiously through the pages of Fighting Attraction. The type of novel that mixes two opposites of a spectrum and puts them together in a way that i was captivated from the very beginning. The story of a MMA fighter, Rampage, who has a secret that he vows will never be reveal, no matter what the circumstances. This secret is the one thing that he never wants anyone to know, especially the legal assistant who seems too innocent for his tastes, Penny. But as he'll come to realize very soon, appearances can be deceiving when you come to get to know someone in ways you never saw coming.

4.5 sexy dreams

Surprised doesn't come to explain how i felt about this book. It was entirely unexpected and the last thing i would have expected a MMA genre novel to have was so many BDSM aspects. I love these types of novels; to see just how far a human being can go through, to fully submit and dominate another, the trust of it all, and the control. And yet, at the same time, to a certain extent, MMA is about control of the movements of your body while letting go of some of that control to let the other person tire themselves out. The details were incredible and i couldn't get enough of this story. I only wish that i could have read the previous books in the series and gotten a better idea of where Sarah Castille wants to go with her characters since i sometimes feel as though i missed some of the big details that may have been present in the previous books. Some of the connection i wish i had with the characters weren't as strong as i would have wanted it simply because i was preoccupied with the 'what ifs' and 'did i miss something'? things that i know will be easily answered as i start from the very beginning.

I am super excited that Sarah Castille releases another book in the Redemption series. She can definitely bring her A-game in writing top Alpha man in MMA but also have the top Alpha man fall in love hard. And she did it again in Fighting Attraction.
Fighting Attraction will bring Jack and Penny together. The reader has met them before in previous books that it is no surprise that there is attraction between them. Penny is a very hardworking secretary that she is always on point. But there are more layers to Penny than anyone knows. She has a dark childhood that she keeps it hidden from everyone especially her closest friend. But Jack definitely takes notices. Jack works so hard in his career that it becomes no surprise that he goes pro. While he works very hard, he has a hard time in finding pleasure until he discovers Penny secrets.
Both of them have difficult past that they share a bond together. Each of them will face them in time but they share something truly special between them that their relationship blooms over time. It may be slow in the beginning but it definitely picks up. And you will not be disappointed at all. They have a hot and intense attraction that you will definitely feel the heat between them. Trust me, you are definitely going to enjoy the sexy scenes between Jack and Penny.
Fighting Attraction is a perfect title for Jack and Penny because they are fighting what they both want but toward the end, they will end up what they always wanted. Five Stars!

I love this series!!! Fighting Attraction is a perfect addition. Who doesn’t have a dark side? I mean would I want what Penny did to the extent that she did, no, but in my dreams? Hell Ya!!!! I am all for a story female character be herself with the man that owns her heart.

I will say it again, I love this series. And I absolutely love how different the relationship Penny and Jack has compared to the other characters, but what was not different was the depth of their love.

I fell head over heart in lust and love with Jack from the very first page and fell just as hard for Penny. My heart broke for this sweet girl who suffered so much and needed pain to deal with it. She and Jack had been dancing around each other with both thinking that they couldn't possibly have a future together. All that changed when Penny ventured into a place where Jack leads a secret life. I really did love these two for each other. They had a bumpy ride, but I loved every bit of it. I can't wait to read more.

I give Fighting Attraction 5 hearts!

Whew!! This was a hot one 😍 You gotta love a story about a sexy ass fighter who's into BDSM. It's all the good shit wrapped into one.
Penny, the prom and proper British girl, who has her own dark secrets, always chooses the wrong guy.
Rampage aka Master Jack is a MMA fighter who just went pro, and is into giving others pain at his Sex Club.
Penny thinks Rampage is super hot but believes he only sees her as a friend. After seeing him work in his club Penny wants him to cause her pain.
But Penny has secrets that could get Rampage into trouble and destroy his reputation. It comes down to trusting each other in order for a relationship to work between them.
Totally hot and sexy read. It can def be read as a standalone. Although reading them in order will give more clarification to the additional people in the story.

I haven't read the Redemption series, but I loved Nico and am eagarly anticipating the next book in the Ruin & Revenge series, Luca. Fighting Attraction is the 4th book in the Redemption series, but it's a series of standalones so I was able to jump right in.

This book kept me engaged and was hard to put down. I don't often read BDSM, but I found it interesting and the sadism element was new to me. There are many character cameos in this book, so I know for longtime readers of the series they were like candy. For me, it made me want to go grab the other books so I could find out everybody's story. My TBR list is approximately 2 miles long and just keeps growing. I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye out for more books by Sarah Castille.
