I've read the first story and this one in this series because I haven't got the other two so reading this I missed some events so with that said you might want to read each on in order.

Jackson 'Jack' Caldwell also known as Rampage is a Tennessee gentleman to everyone but with a dark secret that made his parents disown him and an ex fiancee drop him for his younger brother. He was raised never raise your hand to a women but when he hit puberty he had something wanting to do the opposite of what he was taught. He thrives on giving pain, a sadist.

Penny Worthington 'Pen' left merry old English to come to America after her father abused her and forced her and her sister to compete against each other no matter at what for their father's sick joke. He always told Penny she should have never been born and was worthless. One bad monster of her past. Until she was 16 and meeting Adam, he was the same as her father, treated her as his personal slave with fists, 2nd monster of her past. There might have been others in between Adam and Mr Rock Star, the worst of the worst. But all that time she found out she needs pain to emotionally release her demons of her past.

After becoming friends Rampage and Pen were close friends, she was Jack as the man she would love to love but Jack will see Pen as the women she should have if he wasn't such a sadist.

One glance of Jack in his other comfort will push Penny to see if he is truly the man that will help her, while Jack is mad as hell that Penny found out his secret life.

This friends to lovers story tested my boundaries, challenged my concepts and left me wanting more. When you meet Penny in her feminine pretty clothes, you would believe she was angelic and pure. But behind that sophisticated english exterior were secrets and a darkness she kept well hidden. She became friends with sexy, kind, and thoughtful MMA fighter Jack 'Rampage'. She loved spending time with him and their friends but underneath the nice guy exterior she saw a darkness that spoke to her. When Penny discovers the BDSM club called Club Sin and what it could offer her, Jack was not happy. He was on the cusp of becoming the next big name in the ring and he didn't want his name and reputation to be tarnished. But when she wouldn't stay away, he wasn't going to let anyone touch the one woman who called to him even tho he didn't think he deserved her. This is a raw and emotional story of self discovery, redemption, and learning to love and be loved. Ms. Castille created two complex characters that made me laugh, cringe, cry and even want to slap at times. There are so many funny scenes mixed in with the exhilarating and hot and sexy scenes that I have grown to expect from this author and I wasn't disappointed. I enjoyed reconnecting with friends from past books but this can be read as a stand alone. I really like this series and can't wait to read more from the men of Redemption.

Fighting Attraction is a MMA romance with a BDSM undertone. While I love MMA fighter love stories (I find those guys super-hot) and I do enjoy BDSM stories (on the lighter spectrum) I must confess that the SM part is not really my cup of tea. Although this is part of an ongoing series, it can definitely be read as a standalone…. Though it took me a little bit to get used to who was who especially with the whole cage name thing.

I found myself scratching my head and wondering why would I request an ARC for a book where the H is a sadist and the h has a need for pain? I went back to the blurb and realized the problem was that it talks of domination but never of Rampage’s need for doling out pain. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed reading the story, it just wasn’t the perfect fit for me.

Rampage aka Jack is a southern gentleman, or he is on the outside. When he is not pummeling someone in the cage, he is everyone’s best friend: funny, charming and considerate. From a very bad experience in his past, he hides the sadist part of himself, only letting that show in the sex club he is a member of. His issues with this part of himself and his inability to let go of the past and deal with his unresolved feelings meant that his relationship with Penny was a whip-lash inducing, hot and cold type of deal.

Penny had a very difficult start in life. Coming from a childhood of abuse to then fall into one abusive relationship after another, she’s had to find ways to deal with her emotional turmoil. A kind, witty and thoughtful Britt, she works as a paralegal and works out at Rampage’s gym, Redemption. When work takes her to a sex club, she discovers Jack’s secret but instead of being repulsed by it (as Jack fears) something actually clicks for her.

Fiercely attracted to each other but with tons of issues to overcome, Jack tries to stay away from Penny… unsuccessfully. Penny’s self-esteem issues mean that every time Jack pushes her away there’s a big fallout for her. I must confess that more than the SM aspect of it, what didn’t quite work for me was this back and forward stuff. Add in a very insecure heroine (which drives me nuts) and some other inconsistencies with the plot line and I can’t say this was my favorite book ever.

As is, Fighting Attraction is a good love story about accepting who you are and letting go of past hurts in order to be able to move forward. It has action, some very hot encounters and if you don’t mind the SM side, some hot scenes as well. With a gym still full of single hunky MMA fighters, I think there’s a lot to come in this series.

Yes, I must admit it: this is one of those books that caught my attention with its gorgeous cover and, after reading the blurb, I’ve had no hesitation: fighter romance with a touch of BDSM? It’s missing only a bike and a leather jacket and, as they say in tennis, for me it’s “Game! Set! Match!”.
No, I didn’t know as author Sarah Castille nor I’ve read her “Redemption” series. I approached recently the fighter romance genre, but sure my explorations will continue to move forward in this direction.
“Fighting Attraction” is the fourth book in the “Redemption” series by this author, but the novel can be considered as standalone and the story is about Penny and Jake/Rampage.
The Redemption is a gym frequented by a group of MMA fighters, but over time this place turned out to be something more for them. It’s the real core of their lives, where friends can harbor the same passion and built a strong bond between them. A group in which they began to enter slowly even women, who love the MMA world and who are able to stand up in front of this amazing alpha men, conquering them, and becoming, then, the most precious and important thing in their lives ; but they are also their toughest “rival” and the hardest to keep up with, given these mates have the rare gift to always elude their control. This of course makes them show even more their dominant side and even the “real caveman” that lurks beneath the surface.
Rampage and Penny’s story is even more special than the others.
Rampage is a great fighter, because of his skills he starts to take his first steps to become a pro in the MMA circuit. Gorgeous, hot, virtually unbeatable in the cage, but absolutely correct during and after his fights: the classic good guy, even funny and cute, who everyone would like to have as a friend.
He’s too perfect in the eyes of Penny, who has always been attracted in the past from bad guys.
What Penny doesn’t know yet is how much the “real” Rampage is well hidden under this facade, locked inside because of his fear of not being accepted for his real nature. He prefers to show this side of himself only in a safe place, within an exclusive BDSM club, where Rampage turns into Master Jack.
The BDSM has become part of Jack’s life, but this isn’t the classic story of this kind of book, in which a Dom finds his sub “and everyone lived happily ever after with a whip and handcuffs”. Things are different and Penny is not a sub.

The story between Jack/Rampage and Penny is more complex. They both had problems and suffered in the past.
Jack isn’t the perfect Dom who magically gets the rid of all Penny’s problems and she isn’t the woman who can erase Jack’s demons.
It’s a story with ups and downs, in which both of them must learn to know and live with their weaknesses and the ghosts of their past.
The thing I liked the most in them is that, despite the misunderstandings, they were always ready to support one another, always willing to be there.
This way everything was more realistic and I appreciated I could read through the point of view of both of them.
Despite all of her insecurities, Penny is the one with a better view of her life, the one that, over time, has been able somehow to accept herself, and to be ready, now, to get involved with Jack, while he continues to live an inner struggle, which makes him more vulnerable and uncertain about his real capacity to be the right man for her.
I loved how Ms Castille wrote this novel: the Redemption group is very united and present in the story. Rampage and Penny’s friends, as a whole, enrich the novel, they’re funny and hot characters and made me want to find out more about them.
In addition to these attractive alpha male fighters, I really liked how the story was told, showing along with the romance, moments when people fight, written with precise descriptions. I’ve to say sometimes, because of the fighters implicated – two people at random: Penny and Rampage – these workouts are transformed into something very hot to read.
They’re a couple with an explosive chemistry, but what for me always makes a difference in these cases – in addition to reading engaging scenes, full of passion, also very explicit – is also the fact of being in front of something more deep that binds the two protagonists.
Penny and Rampage together have this “something more”.

MMA/fighter reads are always some of my favorites to get my hands on. This book isn't disappoint at all. I loved Penny and Rampage!! The secrets and witty moments, it was all so awesome to read. I can't wait to see what is going to come next!

Excuse me while I go change my pantie because Fighting Attraction is one hot and sexy read! MMA mixed with BDSM and chemistry that is off the charts explosive, well this book whore was all sorts of happy. Rampage aka Jack well his name should be panty melter because he is hot! Penny, she may have appeared to be, I don’t want to say uptight or buttoned up, but she had a seriousness about her but she also has another side of her, one that needs the pain to help her find that peace inside.

This is so much more than a story about a MMA fighter or BDSM, or a Dom and submissive. It is a story about healing, growth, it at times may not be easy to read, but what it also is at times is sexual, hot and consuming. For me, certain aspects of the book didn’t bother me but it may for some others because this is one the darker edge if BDSM at times but it plays its part for a reason so even if you may not be a fan try to keep an open mind.

Fighting Attraction I must say is my favorite book of the series, I will admit some I liked more than others but this one, this one I loved and highly recommend to everyone!

Penny and Rampage are both broken, but they are soul mates, and manage to fix each other. I loved the banter between these characters, and Penny was certainly not a walkover. No spoilers from me though, you really need to read this for yourself!
This story is well written, and is about finding love and being soul mates. This is a scorching sexy story, and the author has done an amazing job in writing this story. I look forward to reading more.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book!

Such a painfully amazing read!!!

Don't you just love it when you can relate to the characters of a book? Or maybe you want to be that character in real life? These were the kinds of feelings that I had when reading Sarah's new release. I couldn't put it down! It was one of my absolute favorite reads of 2017.

Penny was British - love her already! She was prim and proper, but she hid a dark secret. She had a certain kind of release that she sought and she only got it from one source, until Rampage came along.

It had been a while since I read the last Redemption book, so I couldn't remember Rampage all that well. However, I think I liked not remembering him from previous books because I was able to look at him with fresh eyes. He was all kinds of intense! He was friends with everybody and was loved by everybody. And then he had a "dark" secret that he was ashamed of? Oh my, give him to me!

Penny and Jack's inner struggles were like a push and pull situation. Someone would push the other, usually Jack, and then Penny would pull away and retreat to her comfortable source of release.

I'd read a lot of intense novels before, but somehow, this was intense in a different kind of way because I wanted to have what they had. I wanted to be Penny. I wanted to meet my Jack. It gave me all the feels, basically.

One sure way to check if I liked a book was to see how many scenes I'd highlighted. I pretty much highlighted half of this book! I loved so many scenes, I couldn't choose just one to share here!

Of course, there was the camaraderie among the Redemption fighters. I just loved it all!

This is the fourth book in the <b>Redemption</b> series but can be read as a standalone. I had not read any of the previous books but found it easy to catch on.

Rampage is a taking up the challenge of going pro in the MMA circuit and also making a good business with his partnership in a distillery. Whilst his career and business are soaring his relationship status is not but that is how he prefers it. After having his hopes crushed for a life planned, he now stays away from relationships. After all who could he ever trust to share his darkness with again after it went so drastically wrong the first time he placed that trust with somebody?

Penny is a regular at the Redemption gym and is friendly with most of the guys there, especially Rampage. The happy go lucky man is easy to get along with and she enjoys the banter she has with him. However when something happens when she goes to cheer him on at one of his bouts, things start to change for the pair and when she stumbles across his secret then she start to wonder if he can provide the outlet she so desperately needs.

I loved the atmosphere in this MMA world that also takes you into a more secretive and dark place. The main characters were so deep to fathom out which is something I yearn when I get a good book in my hands. Just trying to figure out a character and what makes them tick and why they are the way they are. There was lots of good grounding to search through with both Penny and Jack (aka Rampage) I loved that their bright and sunny personas were also hiding a whole lot of darkness and the way they each unconsciously sought each other to provide the deep need they had.

I’m not a big fan of BDSM but the psychology of Jack was an interesting one. Here was a sadist who was in hiding and the way he fought through his darkness was spellbinding. I also loved that he was a southern gentleman and I loved the way the author brought to life his accent (I can still hear him whispering PINny!) Swoon!

As for Penny I loved that she was British with her prim and proper ways and her girlie outfits. It was doubly thrilling that she was from my part of the World and my city – Leeds! I had already connected with her and could relate to some of her thought process so to read she was a Leeds lass was a squee moment (strange how seeing your home place mentioned in a book you never expected can take you unawares haha)

Overall this was a good solid engaging read with plenty of darkness, sprinkled with some comedy but intense in the passion. I would like to see more from this author and this is a book I would definitely recommend. Four stars.

An explosive delve through dark secrets and intense desires to find their soul mate! Fun characters and hot sex help carry this book as the plot dips and recovers throughout with periods of dragging only to come back to an exciting pivot. Overall a satisfying read with a happy ending.

Jack "Rampage" Caldwell is just getting his MMA career to the peak he has wanted for a long time when he can't seem to keep his mind free of Pen. He's not good for her and no matter how much his heart races when she's near, there's no way he can answer the pull he sees in her eyes. He has secrets that he's not proud of ... he can't pull her down with him!

British born Penny Worthington puts off the air of being proper, but has dark secrets and desires hidden beneath the surface. She sees a kindred spirit hiding beneath the southern gentleman facade that the public sees of Jack. Can she bring herself to reach out and grab what she wants most in life ... even though she knows he deserves better?

I loved this book so much! 2 broken people that think they are no good for the other, try to fight how much they are attracted to each other. Super sexy with some intense BDSM. Pleasure from pain is the theme throughout. A must read.

This is the fourth book in the Redemption series. While you can read this as a stand alone, I highly recommend that you read them in order. Both Rampage and Penny are in the previous books. You’ll get a little on how they are from reading them and you’ll see Penny’s situation with Vetch.

Penny is the prim and proper, floral print and pearl wearing, British assistant to Amanda. I absolutely love her.

Rampage, or Jack, is the fighter everyone loves. He’s everyone’s friend and the gossip king at Redemption.

I love his smiley face shirts, even if he didn’t wear them in this book.

But not everything is what it seems. Both are hiding things.

Big Things!

These two are absolutely perfect for each other. Both have some major realizations about themselves though.

Of course Doctor Death was up to his games in this book as well. I can’t wait for him to get his!

Sarah Castille has done it again!! I love her Redemption Series. The characters are so developed and the scenes give you that front row feeling of actually watching every scene develop instead of reading it. Penny is from England and she has the sweetest personality and gives everyone that sense that she is just a pure, innocent woman. Jack "Rampage" has such a dominant personality and a hidden secret that keeps his encounters at arm's length. The attraction between Penny and Jack is so scorching hot that neither one feels the other will accept their secrets that they keep hidden. When a chance encounter flips the switch the heat is on and Jack will show Penny who he is once and for all. The two have such an amazing chemistry you can't help but cheer them on from your seat. A must read for MMA lovers, BDSM lovers, and readers who just love a love story. Grab your tea, and be ready for some laughter and love!!!

Oh how appearances can be deceiving...

On the outside, Penny is the picture of a conservative, well put together British girl who came to America to pursue her dreams, and Rampage is the happy, laid back guy who is everyone's friend at Redemption. They talk and laugh and become friends, but it takes an unexpected event to reveal their secrets to each other.

Penny works for Amanda's law firm, and when she volunteers to drop off paperwork at Club Sin on her way home, she has no idea she is about to have her mind blown. Club Sin is an exclusive sex club, and Master Damien is enjoying keeping her waiting to talk to him. When she enters the play areas she is shocked to see that Master Jack who the receptionist was talking about with such reverence is none other than Rampage. Yet something clicks into place for her when she enters the doors of Sin and she is determined to come back for more. Rampage is furious that his one safe place he could go to be himself completely has been outed to one of his inner circle, but Damien completely ignores his temper tantrum and allows Penny to return to the club. Damien can see what his friend doesn't want to acknowledge: Penny has a need to be a part of the lifestyle, and Jack is at war with himself when it comes to his need for Penny versus his need for the outlet the BDSM lifestyle provides.

Penny's conservative exterior hides a darkness in her soul after a lifetime of both verbal and physical abuse, and her current outlet for the pain she still endures is not healthy. After seeing the activities within the club and doing some research on her own, she believes she has found an alternative that could fill the empty spot in a different way. Now if she can only convince that stubborn Dom to give her a chance...

Jack has had a different sort of darkness in him that he recognized in his teen years, but when he took a chance on revealing it to the woman he loved, he was shunned and betrayed in the worst possible way and it cost him more than he wants to acknowledge. His attempts at relationships ended that day, but when Penny came into his life, the constant struggle between his desires and his nature began. When she shows up in his sanctuary and his worlds collide, that struggle is magnified tenfold when he discovers why she decided to research the lifestyle more. He can help her and fill that need for her, but he has to keep it strictly in the club in order to save his sanity and his heart. Of course his alpha male and caveman tendencies overrule his head in too many cases which results in a whole lot of confusion and often some hurt feelings for Penny as she tries to keep up with the whiplash of his constant mixed signals. Add in her own confusion about her reactions to her experiences with Jack in the club when the cold light of day intrudes and it equals a lot of turmoil for both of them!

Fighting Attraction is one heckuva bumpy ride but it was one I really enjoyed! Jack and Penny are definitely two very complex characters with a metric ton of emotional baggage between them, and they never expect to find their missing halves in each other. Finding their HEA takes a lot of work- and some very steamy moments- but Ms. Castille gave them a wonderful story! Familiar faces from the other books in the series make their appearances in this book, but Fighting Attraction can easily be read as a standalone. If you don't mind a walk through the SM portion of the BDSM lifestyle then you definitely want to 1-click this book!

What can I say that I haven't already said a million times about Sarah Castille? The woman can deliver one hell of a smoking hot read EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. Her heroes are ALWAYS swoon worthy and her heroines are KICK-ASS. Her stories may sometimes be a bit long-winded for my taste, but she never misses a beat on flow. She doesn't fluff for fluff's sake and she doesn't angst for angst's sake. She is a ridiculously talented wizard with words #TRUST

If you're a ridiculous fan like I am, you've been waiting for this story on the edge of your seat. For TWO YEARS people! I can't even tell you how badly I've wanted to read Rampage's journey. I'm such a happy reader right now!

CONFESSION: I'm not a fan of hard-core BDSM. I'm all about the kink and the filthy, but BDSM itself is not really my thing. There are VERY few authors that I will read BDSM by ... We can add Sarah to list now. The imagery that she depicted did not make me cringe. Opposite actually. I was delightfully turned on :) AND captivated by Master Jack.

This story was so much bigger than the sexual preference of our leads. It dealt with some serious issues that should not be taken lightly and were thoroughly depicted by Sarah throughout the story. As I mentioned at the beginning. Every word that Sarah writes has a purpose. She is thorough in her story-telling. And she will pull feelings from the depths of your soul. #TRUST
