Simply put, this book is Dr. Seuss meets John Lennon's "Imagine."
The book is in a rhyming format, with emphasized font for the rhyming words themselves. This is a great way to practice sight words.
The illustrations are cute; I like seeing regular human children alongside what are presumably alien children or underwater sea-thing children, etc. It was nice to see diverse characters, even if some of them aren't human.
While it seems like a birthday book, it's good for any day of the year. It could make a cute birthday gift, too.
