This series is so incredible! I love how, even though Casey is on the run because she's accused of killing her best friend, she still figures out a way to help others solve their crimes. Dylan is such a great character and I love seeing his and Casey's relationship continue to grow. We also get introduced to Dex, and he also seems incredible. This book just gets so intense towards the middle and kept me reading nonstop! I only put it down for minor things like sleeping and working. ;) Such a great read and can't wait to get the next book to see how it all ends up!

Just like the 1st book in the series (If I Run) this book will keep you at the edge of your seat. There are a lot of unexpected twists and turns. The author does a good job of keeping the readers attention. Characters are well developed and there is a great balance of introspected thought and actual conversation. Interactions between characters are authentic and easy to follow. Love the relationship development between Casey and Dylan. I wonder if it's because of the intensity of the situation they're in or if it's actually a real attraction. I can't wait for another book in the series to see if their relationship blossoms or dies off. Love this series.
I received a digital copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review. So glad to have been introduced to this author through them.

This is a fast thrilling ride of a read. You will not be left on quite as much of a hang off as book number two, but you will for sure be left wanting to get book #3. If I'm found gives us the continuation of Casey's story, while she is once again on the run. Dylan's story, with the PTSD is very pronounced and really helps us to get inside his head and work to understand him.

I did feel as though I was reminded that this was fiction in this story, a few times, but still, I was engaged and delighted throughout.

This book leaves off where If I run left off. With the first book I could not put it down. This one started out good with the main character finding another person to try and seek justice for. It just seemed like this could have been a chapter at the end of the first book. Then there were a lot more religious quotes which is not my thing. Not a fan of this one.

I knew this was a trilogy when I started. Book one was good, you should read it first, this isn't a stand alone. Book two I looked forward to reading with great anticipation. All I can say is WOW. I'm so ready for book three! This is an outstanding series. Blackstock has outdone herself with this series. The pace and the interest to find out what happens next never let down or gave up.

I really like the covers on this series too. They are so strong and it's one of the few cases where I don't mind a cut off face.

My copy came from Net Galley and Bethany House. I have left this review of my own free volition, my thoughts and opinions are my own.

Fast-paced, complex, and powerful, If I'm Found shows readers the beauty of what can happen when we value others over ourselves.

This thrilling second installment of the If I Run series by Terri Blackstock was just as exciting as the first book. Here we find Casey Cox faced with being on the run--again.

It seems as if everything is stacked against Casey. She's got a few advantages, one being that she's able to communicate with Dylan Roberts. I really enjoyed this aspect of the book because: romance. Okay, I know, I know...there's so much more to this book than romance, but what can I say? I'm a sucker for it! I loved how Terri brought their characters together.

I also love love love how there is a juxtaposition of plots going on here. You've got the overall plot of Casey being a fugitive but then you've got Casey's "new" life where she must act in order to do the right thing even if it jeopardizes her own safety. Terri is QUEEN of creating such intriguing plot lines that, while there is a ton going on and you think it could be too convoluted, you see how it all works out seamlessly in the end.

I also love how we see the strengths and weaknesses of Dylan and Casey. They aren't perfect. They have real struggles and they must choose to fight for what is right. It's refreshing and in no way off-putting at how real they both are.

As I did for book one, I felt as if this book was stretched out in order to make it a trilogy. Don't get me wrong--it's a fantastic book! It's well written and gripping! But, during the wrap up, I found myself thinking that it could have come to a conclusion in just two books. I'm happy that there'll be a third because I think we can gather that God will use Casey again in way's she couldn't foresee in the lives of others. I also love the characters so I'm looking forward to see what happens. So really, it's not a negative as much as it's an observation. It's a shorter book but packed with action.

A definite recommend from me for those who like romantic suspense, suspense, and a action-packed plot. It's not heavy on the romance but just right (in my opinion). Besides, Terri deals with some tough topics in an honest but careful way. You'll find yourself rooting for Casey and Dylan by the end (if not from the very beginning).

My Rating: 5*

If I'm found is a continuation of If I run, which was a way intense thriller that you will kick yourself if you didn't read it. You have Casey who is on the run for a murder she did not commit. Chased by Dylan - you know the token member of the PI's and police force group that are going after her - but guess who helped her get away and guess who is emailing her wanting to help her more? This book is full of contradictions but good ones, bizarre but good. The author truly knows how to blow your mind and have you enjoy it and want them to do it again. Fun eh? This book is a thriller down to the last word. Worth your time which you find yourself stealing time here and there just to read it, don't get caught though :) love this book

This was such an awesome book. Casey is on the run once again, with 2 corrupt police officers falsely accusing her of murdering her friend. This story was so fast paced and suspenseful that I was looking forward to what was happening next. There were lots of twists and turns and plenty of action to hold my interest. The story flowed really well and has me interested in what the next book in the series is going to be about. It was fun to see how the characters grew in their faith and closer to trusting one another.

Casey Cox is still on the run, fleeing prosecution for a murder she didn’t commit. Dylan Roberts—her most relentless pursuer—is still on her trail, but his secret emails insist he knows the truth and wants to help her. Casey stumbles on another unbearable injustice: an abused child and a suicidal man who’s also been falsely accused. Casey risks her own safety to right this wrong and protect the little girl from her tormenters.
The second book in the series is a very readable installment in the series—enough suspense and not too much romance. I am drawn to this series because it does not take long to get into the books. There is action almost from the first page. As I was reading, I was thinking that I don’t believe I could be as creative as Casey was in figuring out ways to stay hidden. I would have no idea about creating a false identify for myself, of locating a car cheaply, hiding out in motels, etc. Certainly Ms. Henderson has done a lot of research and made everything seem very plausible.
As with most Christian books, we are going to have to wait for the next book in the series. And maybe everything will be solved—or not. This is a series that you should read in order. Both books are very suspenseful but this one does reveal details that reveal answers to some of the suspense of the first one. I also like the fact that Ms. Henderson creates bad guys that are truly bad but doesn’t have to give them a filthy mouth to prove it. While I am riveted by the suspense, I am not turned off by the content.
I was given this book in exchange for a review which is my own.

I sure love Terri's books. After reading if I run just about a week ago I was so glad Zondervan had allowed me to preview this one the second book in this series. It was great, heartstopppng and riveting all rolled into one. I can't wait to see how Casey and Dylan's story turns out.
I was provided and advance copy of this book through NetGalley. The thoughts on the review are mine and were not required. Coming soon my reviews on carolynreads.com

If I'm Found by Terri Blackstock is the second book in the If I Run series. It is a fabulous Christian suspense, continuing where book one ended.
There is the theme of trust as building a case against the corrupt police continues. Trusting anyone whilst on the run is nigh on impossible. One has to rely on instincts and being resourceful to survive.
At times life makes little sense. Bad things happen to good people and yet God does not step in. However "Jesus never promised to heal believer's burdens, but He did vow to carry them." Only when looking back on events can people see how God helped to protect them at the time
Prayer is important. It links us to God. We can pray for others whether they believe or not. What matters is that we believe.
PTSD is a powerful topic in the novel. Sufferers continue to suffer for years after a traumatic event. Meeting at a support group with others may help but the fears are still there when you close your eyes. "I do fear sleep. I want to avoid it." Too often suffers feel defined by their condition. "Until a few weeks ago PTSD defined me." They need to find a purpose. They need to keep fighting even though just getting up in the morning can be hard.
The novel shows that there is a fight between good and evil in the world. The love of money, power, drugs or alcohol can take a hold and corrupt characters. Priorities become blurred or disappear altogether. There are still good people in the world who will do the right thing to protect the innocent, even at the risk to themselves.
Family is important. Unscrupulous people will take advantage of family bonds to hold others to ransom.
Terri Blackstock has produced yet another marvellous plotline. The reader is grabbed from the outset and completely hooked. The ending leaves the reader hanging on in wild anticipation for book three in the series.
A fabulous read as always.

I am blown away by this series. Not only is it an interesting storyline, but Ms. Blackstock has such a way with words. A good suspense story will keep you on your toes, always looking over your shoulder, biting your nails, and keep your heart pounding through every scene. This book does that and more. I couldn’t put it down. If I didn’t have to work, I would have read it in one day, all in one sitting. It was that good.
Let me start by gushing over how much I enjoy reading about Casey. Sure, her main focus is to not get caught, but then these things seem to happen that pull her back into the real world. Some may say that she grew weak in wanting to help the people she met along the way. I see her differently. I see her as this strong woman who has powerful instincts to help others in distress, even if it puts herself at risk. I found myself easily relating to her and sympathizing with her. Part of me was screaming to ignore these situations and save herself, and part of me was screaming to please help these poor people no matter what happens. I’m not going to lie, there are some tough topics in this book. But they are presented well, and in more of a tell you it’s happening kind of way rather than go into gruesome details. I’m glad the author chose to present them in this fashion because I found it easier to read.

I’m glad Ms. Blackstock stuck to having a couple different POVs throughout the chapters. It is nice as a reader to see how two sides are coming together (Dylan and Casey). It makes the storyline more enjoyable, more exciting, and more emotional. You really get to see the emotional connection start to form between Dylan and Casey in this installment. And don’t mistake that for being a sappy love story, it is anything but that. Relying on each other and only on each other makes them form this bond that they probably cannot even identify with everything that’s going on. But I certainly think it sets the tone for future possibilities!

Now that this installment is over I find myself sad and eagerly awaiting the next installment to come out. Having to wait for almost a year to read that is going to be torture. But, I’m almost certain book three will be worth the wait. 🙂

I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I was so, so sad when this book ended. I know there will be another in the series, but I wasn't ready for this one to be finished yet. Kacie is still on the run after being framed for murdering her friend. Dylan has been hired by the friend's family to find her, yet he is closer to the truth than anyone else. As close as she came the being captured by the actual killers, she managed to escape when Dylan let her go. When she flees again she comes across another situation where she can't help but intervene and that leads her to even more problems than before when she uncovers the truth to a scandal. I am already excited to read the next book in this series!

Hand over the third book STAT!

I almost skipped reading this one because I had such a hard time getting into the present-tense narration in the first book (my least favorite POV). I was pleased to discover that the mechanics flow much more smoothly in this book than in the first, and I only actually noticed the present tense view a few times. The rest of the time I was gulping the story down by the chapter, on the edge of my seat just to see what was going to happen next.

I have to say, I found it WAY too short! I loved the payoff when Casey begins to seriously consider giving faith a chance, and I was rooting for Dylan and Casey to meet up and fight this out together almost from page one. Even apart, you can sense how well they are matched and anticipate how the chemistry will spark in the very first moment they meet. I love how Casey's drive to set right the injustices of the world have her stopping in her tracks to risk herself in defense of another family, another person being framed for what they didn't do.

Anyway, I keep hoping that the words of the last book will flow out very easily for Mrs. Blackstock, and that somehow the release date for book 3 gets moved up a bit!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for a review copy.

I'm not normally a huge fan of a lot of religious talk in books I read. I don't mind subtlety, but overtly religious talk doesn't normally sit right with me. Having said that, this book overtly talks about God, but not in a way that wholly distracts from the great story of Casey & Dylan.

This "If I. Run" series was thoroughly enjoyable from page 1 of book one to the last page of book 2.

I love series and I am always eagerly awaiting this author's continuing story. She knows how to grab your attention from the beginning and it feels like a run for your life to the finish line. The author is creative with her characters and they become almost life like as you get to know them. Casey has been a favorite character of mine for awhile. She is fierce, determined and never backs down when she sees injustice. The story continues where Casey is hiding out while she stays one step ahead of being arrested. Her life is on the line when she was accused of a brutal murder. Now she must clear her name and stay in the shadows till she can prove her innocence. I loved how her character is put in harms way when she discovers someone being accused of a crime he didn't commit. Would you stand up for someone if it meant you may go to jail?

The action is top notch and it is an adrenaline rush to the end. I did like the author talking about PTSD. She did a great job of allowing a character to deal with PTSD and the difficult effects it has on someone. I love how the author takes on subjects that others shy away from and brings them to the forefront. Crime happens everyday and sometimes a person is accused of something they didn't do. I especially liked that Casey got involved with an abuse case. People are so ready to point fingers and place blame without investigating. Casey is someone to be reckoned with when she stands up for justice . The book has everything you want in an action/thriller and I love how the author continues to keep readers guessing and on the edge of their seats with intense drama. I highly recommend you read the first book which lays the foundation for the series. I eagerly await the conclusion of this series.

I received a copy of this book from The Fiction Guild and Netgalley. The review is my own opinion.

Wow! This book was amazing! Terri Blackstock is a favorite author of mine. I believe I have read almost all of her books. And, this series is my favorite of all!! There are several reasons why. I love the first person. It works. The characters are well developed. They are so likeable. No, lovable. I love the hero and heroine. The dialogue between Casey and Dylan is believable and you feel what they are feeling. You understand what they are going through. Blackstock did a fantastic job with this. I am rooting for them. I want to see them through all of those horrific events that are going on in their lives. The suspense of not knowing what is going to happen next is mind blowing. I kept turning the pages rapidly because I am on the edge of my seat. Then, she brings it down a notch for me to catch my breath with a precious inspirational message. Being thankful in the little things going on in Casey's life. God is there in the little things as well as the big things. God is opening her eyes to what is around her. And, lastly, the sweet romance budding between Dylan and Casey is making me so happy I want to do a happy dance. This is an adrenaline laced book with precious moments sprinkled in throughout. I highly recommend this book. I am definitely looking forward to the finale, which I am sure will be again...Aaaamazing!!

I was disappointed by this book. The writing was still good but very predictable. I know this is a 3 part series but I did not like how this one ended. The whole story was just more of the same, Casey getting fake ID's, Casey getting involved in someone else's problems. Casey reaching out to her sister. Dylan trying to help Casey.
The amount of inner dialog was overwhelming, repetitive, and a little boring.
I do not post negative reviews publically so I will not be posting a review of this book anywhere but here on NetGalley..
