My Recommendation

Romeo & What´s Her Name is one of the best contemporary books I have read in a while. Usually when reading contemporary I miss all the fun, but this book is all about it and I love it. Not that I have only loved it because of the fun because there is much more.

Emily, the main character, is gloriously funny and really relatable. I highly identified with her as I am clumsy and tend to create awkward situations without intending it. I think she is so likeable because she is “not putting effort” in being likeable but she is just herself.

The writing style was really absorbing and got me in the very first pages. Being inside Emily´s head is so much fun. And actually, is really perfect for the rhythm of the story. Also, the amazing side characters help a lot to make the plot flow smoothly.

I really enjoyed this book and will highly recommend it to everyone who loves a romcom.
