This is a beautifully written account of a woman's heartbreaking journey after her husband, Georges, was murdered in the mass terrorist shooting at Charlie Hebdo in France.
While this shooting made national news and most of us are aware of the facts surrounding the tragic event, very few of us can imagine what it's like to go through such a thing. Maryse managed to pen a real and very honest account of both the events and her grief, yet Darling, I'm Going to Charlie. Maryse Wolinski is an excellent writer who managed to write from her bones.
