Who's playing who? Ms. Stanley is an author after my own heart. A winning story, a spicy heroine, what's not to like? Lesa may be down but she's not out. She's not above a little seductive manipulation to get her point across. Brandon skills are more boardroom than bedroom, but for Lesa he just might make an exception. The biggest strength of A Shot With You, Ms. Stanley and her characters drew me in too.

Brandon is a workaholic, forced on a holiday cruise with his family. But even on holiday, he only thinks of work, and visits a tequileria. Lesa is a bubbly, outgoing and wants to travel, but is working at her family tequileria to keep her promise to her mom.
Brandon's business proposal seems a perfect way to make her dream of traveling come true. But first she has to travel with Brandon to Kentucky to make sure the business is as solid as Brandon claims.
What will happen when an introvert guy and an outgoing girl come together ?
A shot with you was a sweet, funny story and I just loved the cute banter and flirty talk between Brandon and Lesa. This is my first book in bourbon brothers series and I hope there is more to come.

I really wanted to like this, but it lost me in how cute it was...It started to feel forced to me and I wasn't able to care about the characters. I've chosen not to finish this book.

A Shot with You by Teri Anne Stanley.....This was a sweet fun read that holds your attention. Brandon comes from a Bourbon making family and Lesa comes from a Tequila making family. I enjoyed Brandon and Lesa, they had so much chemistry, can these two combine their differences and make a relationship work.
