Water management is not just an issue of 'now', but also looking backwards to see how far we come and how far we can go, as this book shows. This book is dry, though of course it is comprehensive. I thought of it more like a textbook, which I believe will benefit students of environmental science or engineering background.
As an Environmental Protection Specialist for the federal government working in the water quality protection program, I am always on the look-out for great texts on water quality protection. I thought Schmidt did a great job of putting a lot of great information together in a succinct format. I would definitely read more books by him, particularly those related to human health and the environment.
Well researched and taking a very interesting angle on the concept of water as a resource but oddly enough the prose is far too dry leaving no real narrative to hold on to nor any substantial theory
Unfortunately, i couldn't able to read the book because of personal reasons and tine schedule.
I'm extremely sorry for ruining the opportunity and your resources.
