Lots of angst and a great love story. I would definitely read more from this author! |

I am sorry I never got a chance to read this. My phone would not download it. I apologize. |
I loved this book I was hooked from the very first page and I couldn't put my kindle down while reading this book. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I will be reading more from this author In the future. The premise of this was interesting and this was a quick and entertaining read. I loved the romance and the connection between the maim characters and as individuals |
This is a pretty modern take on growing up; girl has a past, girl drinks too much, girl gets boy. I liked it though: lots of different elements and parts that you just wouldn't have guessed but overall a really easy read. This book will resonate with many girls who feel their pasts define them but they need to realise that it doesn't have to. EVERYONE is a master of their own destiny but sometimes you need a shove in the right direction - never underestimate the impact good friends have on you but even they will only take so much. I'd happily give this a 6 out of 10 due to the ease of reading and the atmosphere that the writer has imparted to the reader. |
It was a quite good story. If exceptions to the self-punishment of the protagonist almost throughout the book ... and of lacking self-esteem. 3.5 stars. |

I received a NetGalley ARC exchange for my honest review. This was a very well done version of a story done a million times over. Girl meets boy and has instalove/lust...but she has a deep dark secret and assumes he could never understand, so she keeps her secret to herself, makes horrible assumptions and bad decisions. Honestly, though, I enjoyed the characters, the plotline, the reveal of the true depth of her secret shame (and his), and the resolution. |
