Fate of Devotion is the second half to Fate of Perfection. This is a futuristic story about what happens when the Earth is over populated and the conglomerates have taken over for the government.
Millicent and Ryker have to go back to help Earth fight off Toton before they decide to come to them. I loved both of these books. They were fast paced and jumped years ahead when they needed to without missing any important storyline. New characters are introduced. Overall a great read that I had wished hadn't ended so soon.

Fate of Devotion is the second book in the Finding Paradise series, following in the footsteps of Fate of Perfection. The story continues following the lives of Ryker and Millicent, as well as a their oldest daughter, Marie. Marie being a genetically engineered "natural birth" with amazing talents for working in computers and coding.

In this book, Ryker, Millie and Marie head back to Earth to do battle with the evil Toton, who has taken over the other two Conglomerates and devastated the Earth. Included in the battle, is Danissa, Millie's biological half sister.

As with the first book, it's non stop action. As in, sit on the edge of your seat and bite your nails type action. You find yourself cheering for the motley cast of characters, and we pick up a few new favorites along the way.

What I liked about the book: Action, suspense, mystery and kick ass smart ladies.

If you enjoyed the first book, you are sure to love this one.
