Great advice you may have heard before but always good to be reminded and put it into action.
This is a great book for anyone that wants to improve their relationship.
I received this galley from NetGalley.

A great book for engaged couples to read and rework their expectations around what God knows is best for them as well as understand that marriage cannot be perfect. The author is incredibly honest about marriage as well as her own life with her battles and has great tips on how we can learn from her and her husband's mistakes.

I am not married and probably never will be, but I love reading books about what marriage is and can be.. This book and others like it, Paula Reinhart comes to mind, should be required reading before walking down the aisle.

This book is a premarital guide for both the bride and the groom so it is a resource and an opportunity for both sides of the couple to have some important conversations. The thirteen chapters of this book covers some important conversations like forgiveness, money, in-laws, communication, expectations and sex just to name a few. These topics were handled really well, there was depth and honesty but humor as well because let's face it some of these topics can generate some conflict so it's nice to have some humor thrown in. Each chapter ends with some discussion questions to go a little further into the topic and really get a conversation going.
Now I have struggled with the idea of submission and I'm still not totally there but the use of the scenes from "Take The Lead" movie to illustrate and explain submission and leadership is gold. I do not agree with everything in this book but that's okay because everything makes for a profitable conversation.
Although this book is for marriage prep I believe it would be a great resource for newlyweds as well as not so newly weds who need to iron out somethings and strengthen their marriage.
