So screwed is funny, hot, exciting, and so full of passion and love. I loved every second of this book. This series is quickly becoming one of my favorites. So Screwed is fast paced, but not short. Once you pick it up you won't want to put it down.
From the very beginning there was just something about Abel that made me want to keep him for myself. They way him and Evelyn connect was amazing. I could feel the sparks. I found myself trying to look around the corner to see what was coming. Half the time I wasn't sure if I was waiting for the other shoe to drop or if I was simply floating away from the happiness I felt for these two. This may be my favorite couple in the series.

Never judge a book by it's cover. The real surprises lie inside. Melissa Marino gives readers a high octane ride into romance with Evelyn and Abel. She has her eye on the prize. He's a man of many talents. Could one of those talents include stealing her heart? So Screwed is a darkly sensual, totally unforgettable surprise that delivers a one, two punch to the heart and a fire burst to the hormones.

Wow!! I loved this book, it was so good. I really don't have the words to say how much I loved this book. Abel was just amazing, he may have acted like a perosn who just didn't care, but deep down he was so insecure. Evelyn was just amazing, she was strong, independent and could hang with the best of them. These two together were just perfect, they balanced each other out. I want to unread it, so I can read it all over again. I highly recommend this one and I look forward to more of this author's work.

I read the first book in this series and I beyond LOVED it. I could not wait to get my hands on this story. Seriously I have 20 books on my TBR pile and I dug into this story right away. It is extremely different from the first book and does stand alone. That said it brings two characters back from the first book and puts them together, Evelyn and Abel. Both are close to the heroine in the first book and Abel is also the hero of the first books, Aarons brother.
This is about Evelyn and Abel. Both are very easy about sex and so they start a sexual relationship eventually. But their careers are very different. Evelyn is a wedding planner who is savvy, smart and has big plans. She works hard and while sex is very casual, she is extremely centered on her career.Abel on the other hand is very casual about sex and he takes nothing seriously except maybe his desire for Evelyn. He is a school teacher who can't find a job so he bartends, sleeps in and gambles a lot. He is making money gambling to buy into a bar with his brother and has lied to everyone how he gets the money. He has big gambling problems in the past and his family saved him and since then he feels they all think he is pathetic.
I loved this book for the first 60-70% and then somethig happens. Its the So screwed part of the book and I hated every moment of this plot point. It did not mesh with the rest of the story. I felt it was not needed and instead took away my respect for Abel and watching him change and turn his life around. I will say this plot was soon fixed and then it took a long time for Evelyn to forgive Abel which I loved about this story.
I also felt the ending was good but very abrupt. If there is another book coming, it is not bad. But if that is it, I felt a little robbed. I wanted to see the future. Beyond those issues I enjoyed the story but definitely not as much as I loved the first book. Largely Aaron was much more of a strong, alpha man where Abel was very immature and let others control his life. There is alot of Aaron in this book and I loved that about the story.
