This was a great short read! I love Cristin Harber, so I was excited to read this book. Tying the paranormal aspect into the Titan World without bringing it all in to the open was great. Rhys, Parker and Locke worked together well to help solved the murder with the help of scientist, Megan. There was a ton of chemistry between Locke and Megan, and I've love to know more about where they ended up. Unfortunately, I have had this novella for a while and I'm finally going back to read it. 4 out of 5 stars.

Thanks to NetGalley and Sharon Kay for the e-copy for honest review.

A very quick read. Maybe it's because I don't know the background for this series, but the story was a bit short and chaotic for me. I would like to read Rhys's story and u understand that this is about Jerry and Trina but there was a lot of time spent on Locke and Megan without a conclusion there or really a next step so I have to say the twisted part was represented, but not as much as Locke and Megan's budding relationship. Anyway a quick read for something different.

I love the Watcher series by this author. Getting to see Rhys and Zana? Loved it. The plot is really good and who thought that a combination of paranormal romance crossing over with the Titan series romantic suspense would work? Well it worked exceptionally well.

While Rhys and Jude are on patrol they hear sirens driving to a crime scene as they don’t get involved with human matters they ignore it at first but then change their minds to go and check it out. What they find is shocking, Scott Dayton of Dayton Diagnostics is dead. The type of death leads more to the paranormal side of things. Where to normal humans these things can’t be explained.

Rhys is a hacker but there are some things that even he can’t hack in to. This calls for a specialist. A human specialist which means the Watchers are walking a fine line on this one.

“You worked with this guy?” “Yup. He’s the tech expert of his group. Bunch of human dudes, mostly ex-military. They do shit the government won’t own up to or has too much red tape in the way to get done fast enough.” “Oh my god. That sounds exciting. Wait. That sounds like what you do.” She frowned-“Well that is if you had a government.”

I was a bit antsy and thought I would get any romance but we saw Rhys with Zana. And Locke from Titan came along for the ride and met the lovely doctor Meghan who works at Dayton. I was proven wrong there is a balance between the romance and the suspense as well as the action that is perfect.

The plot was interesting, exciting and unique. Project Tashuri. It is all very unclear to begin with and but the more Megan finds out by taking a look at the data the weirder it becomes. Combining blood, DNA samples, hair samples etc.to change a human to force the mating bond. Luckily enough for the Watchers they all think that he is certifiable and no one believes it.

I need more Watchers please Ms. Kay. A must read in my opinion.

Twisted Desire is a Titan World novella and the first book I read by Sharon Kay. It perfectly blends the supernatural Watcher world with Cristin Harber’s Titan world and held just the right mix of action, suspense and romance to keep me invested until the end. I hope things work out for Megan and Locke! I loved the writing and will definitely check out Sharon Kay’s Watcher's Kiss series.

I picked up this book because it was part of the Titan World series. I've never read anything by this author, so this was a treat. I enjoyed the story and the characters, even going and downloading the first book of the Watcher series. My only problem with the book was that I couldn't figure out who's story it was. I thought it was going to be Rhys then Jude, but it wasn't either of theirs. I knew it wasn't Parker's story since he already had one. So, it came down to Locke. But there wasn't much to their romance, but that's okay considering the story made up for that fact.

Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

When I started this book, I had to go back and make sure it was a Titan novella LOL. I don't read much paranormal and didn't realize that the Titan group would be meeting up with some! I loved it though! I thought the way that these two worlds were brought together was well done. I got to see Parker Black, too, from Titan, so that was awesome! I'm not a huge paranormal reader, but this made me want to check out the Watchers. I was hoping to see Locke and Megan maybe pursue something. I hope we'll see something in the future about them! This was a good quick read and the story was good for a novella. I enjoyed it.

Was it supposed to be inconclusive? There's, like, no true ending. Nothing gets resolved. For a novella, I expected a short story, but it feels like I only got a few chapters from the middle of a longer book.
I'm sorry, but this didn't work for me at all.

Sharon Kay did an excellent job of combining her supernatural existence from the Watcher's Kiss series to Cristin Harber’s human inhabited Titan World series. The characters worked well together while the paranormal presence is never revealed to the human characters. TWISTED DESIRE takes place in contemporary Chicago.

I love that the story included Rhys MacLeod from book four in the Watches’ Kiss series, AWAKENING KISS. I really enjoyed that book and was glad to read more about his character. I thought it was clever how Sharon Kay brought the Titan World characters into the story. Rhys and Jude are investigating the murder of human that was killed by a Deserati female. It leads them to Dayton Diagnostics. Rhys is an excellent hacker, but he cannot get into the company’s impressive firewalls. He calls in his human friend from Titan Group, Parker Black, to help with the task. Parker and his partner Locke Oliver head to Chicago to help Rhys out.

While on the job, they meet witness, Megan O’Rourke, who helps with the investigation. Megan and Locke hit it off, having great chemistry. The scheme they uncover at Dayton Diagnostics is crazy. It was interesting to see the supernatural versus human side of things unfold as Rhys and Jude try to keep their world a secret. The story is full of non-stop action and numerous twists. I enjoyed the characters. The story was well-written and clever. It had a great ending. It was a wonderful collaboration of two series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

This was a quick easy read suitable for fans of Titan or Watcher's Kiss or for anyone new to both series. I have read everything Titan, but was completely unfamiliar with this author. While I definitely feel this was more Watcher's Kiss than Titan, I enjoyed Locke as the primary love interest. There was plenty of suspense and a very sweet, if somewhat rushed, romance.

Wow! This was really good! Meshing both genres in writing this works very smoothly. It has a taste of both! Found the scene between Jude and Rhys after the lady exits the elevator with her dog really funny. Trying to figure out if Cara is a one-off or she exists in Solsti / Watcher world. I may need to go read the rest of Titan books that are out!

Twisted Desire by Sharon Kay

When I saw this novella listed on NetGalley I wanted it. Why? I enjoy reading Sharon Kay’s books and was eager to see what this one might be about. I had not a clue that it was a melding of two different worlds and though I have not read even one story in The Titans series I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

The Watchers are pulled into solving a murder in Chicago because their world and the human world have rules that must not be crossed and someone from their world has murdered a human. With the hunt on and hacker skills needed Parker, a human from the Titan group, is called in to help. There is a bit of romance mixed in with the locating and capture of the murderer and a bit of catching up with characters that no doubt have been in previous books of both series.

I came away wanting to read more by Ms Kay but also wanting to find out who the Titans are.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC. This is my honest review.

Sharon Kay does it again! I read Awakening Kiss a Watchers Kiss novel a few weeks ago and completely fell in love. Of course I had to request this latest write by Sharon Kay as soon as I saw it and I wasn’t disappointed in the least.

Right away I fell into the story and was swept away. I loved that this read had Rhys from the Watcher’s Kiss novel Awakening Kiss in this story as well. I always like to see characters I love being brought into later stories by authors and this is no exception.

I was a little thrown for a minute on who the main male squeeze was going to be, but then since Parker was married I figured that the book wasn’t long enough to watch him derail from a marriage and then find a new gal so it had to be Locke. I loved the little triste between Locke and Megan. I always like to see the nerdy introvert girls get the sexy badass guys. Probably some subconscious thing about the fact that I’m a nerdy girl hiding behind my computer.

Locke is a member of the Titan Group a private security, go to guy, alpha male brethren company that handles all those pesky things the government has trouble with for various reasons. He and his boss Parker Black are called in by Rhys MacLeod an old friend of Parker’s to help investigate the murder of a scientist that left some serious questions.

Megan is a scientist whose boss was just murdered by a woman who may or may not have had a tail from where she was standing. No one seems to really have any leads so when three men who look like they just might be able to uncover some new leads show up she’s more than happy to assist them. The fact that Locke Oliver might just be one of the hottest men she’s ever laid eyes on might help ensure her cooperation as well.

Together the group of four, three serious alpha males and a cute little feminine scientist, uncover the truth behind the murder some of which is definitely not rated human knowledge acceptable.

This was a fantastic short read and now I really want to know more about Titan Group and what’s going on there. Can’t wait for the next book by this amazing author.

Rhys is a demon watcher who helps to keep the peace and line between human world and supernatural intact. Enter a suspicious human death, a DNA puzzle and computer info to discover and Titan is called in to assist.
This is the first book to read by this author although have read Titan books. Good blend and story line of these two worlds. Only question is how Megan accepted teams getting into locked office with no ID presented or call to confirm legit investigation. OtherWise even with not having read Rhys' s story, felt good explanation of background and intervention .

Ebook from netgalley and publishers with thanks. Opinions are entirely my own.

Imagine my surprise when I saw a Sharon Kay novella available that blends two of my most favorite series....The Watchers and The Titan men!! Sigh and swoon...

I loved how this blended two worlds that run parallel to one another but with one oblivious to the darker side of the others in a way that kept us riveted page after page.

As any Watcher/Titan book this has lots action, mystery and a nice little romance between Locke and Megan. For anylover of either series this is a must read but I will say you do not have to read the predecessors to read this it explains it all nicely but you won't be disappointed if you do read them!
