The whole thing was just niiiice!
I loved this reunion and the way friendship was the true core of this whole volume.
Love is the greatest power people!
First, my gratitude, because the recaps at the beginning were nice because I haven't read all of the DC Rebirth one-shots. It was very easy to understand what had happened and was enough information for me to enjoy it fully.
We have Wally West who is once again teamed up with former teen heroes! You are gonna see The Nightwing, Donna Troy, Arsenal, Tempest, and Omen. We are also reintroduced to Wally's former love, Linda Park.
Once again, together, Titans unite to solve a mystery of the force that erased their memories...
I am a big fan of Barry Allen, but Wally was always my second and it was great to see him taking the lead here.

SPOILERS
The last scene with Deathstroke got me very excited - I love my DC Deadpool with all my heart (Deadpool was created from Deathstroke and appeared years later - love them both).
There were also some teasing scenes with Bumblebee presumingly to hint us of her return. ;)

The plot was dramatic, filled with enough action to keep wanting for more and captured beautifully with amazing artwork.

First let me say that Team Titans was one of my favorite comic book, long ago. But the Rebirth did not do it for me. Some of the rebirth issues have been excellent, such as Wonder Woman, but this one was just ok. Too much fighting. Not enough development. Stupid stuff.

Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review.

After finishing this I felt like it was an example of some of the best DC has to offer when it comes to characters and writing talent. Dan Abnett developed the characters quite well in this story arch and it was fun seeing our classic team back in action except for the fact it did feel a bit like this was more of Wally West story than one about the Titans as a team. But I’m a West fan so I was fine with the extra attention. I did like the friendship depictions that were developed and of course reading this so close to Valentine’s Day it was nice to get some romance in. What can I say? I like cliché romance stories this time of year where you see the good guy fight for love in his life.

Regarding the art. I’ve seen some complaints about Brett Booth’s designs but I don’t get it. I found his work to be intricate, detailed and adeptly able at bringing Abnett’s words to life. The characters look like what you’d expect and the color palette is vibrant breathing life onto the pages. I thought there was just a slight sophisticated touch to it that brought some maturity to a teen story.

Overall this was well worth my time as the stories were easy to read, full of enough action scenes to keep your attention and it made me glad to see Wally West back at the helm!

The Titans have had a lot of trouble as of late, but this book puts them back front and center as the long time friends that fans know and love. As with many of the other Rebirth titles, Titans gives back a beloved history that has been missing for a few years now. What might not be known is that the center of the mystery of Rebirth seems to be unfolding in the pages of Titans. The book is fun and all the characters seem at home with one another, hitting as stride without noticing they ever missed a step.
