Going into this story I had only read the 2nd book in the series and really like it .So going in I was blind to the plot. And essentially the plot would have been a turn off if I had known before I started reading it because:
1. I like my couple to be single not married even if its a quickie wedding in Vegas
2. The whole forbidden thing is not my thing
3. I like the heroine to be pregnant with the heroes baby not an anonymous donor
4. I am not a hug fan of divorce lawyers
5. I also don't like the woman to be older than the man

But the story had all that and yet I LOVED it. Olivia our heroine is 36 and single and a divorce lawyer. She is alone with no real family but a good job, her health and a desire for a family so she is making a baby in a clinic.

Ben, he is a hockey player and married! Surprise, even to him and the bride is even shocker to him and she is Olivia's client. That is the forbidden part of the story.

But fate keeps throwing Ben and Olivia together and so the two have to compromise to make their relationship work. I really loved both Ben and Olivia and they really made this romance work and why I really loved there story.

I adored the first book in this series so when I had a chance to review Maybe This Love I jumped on it. Just to give you an idea of how much I enjoyed this book I started it this morning and did nothing until I finished it. I didn't even realize I had read my way right through lunch time.

I fell head over heels for Ben! Yes, he's the player of the Westmore brothers but he is a total sweetheart as well. He's not a drinker, he doesn't lead the women who fawn over him on and how can you not love someone who treats his mother and sister so well? I loved reading through not just the scenes with Olivia but also the ones where we got to see him interacting with his family. Unlike a lot of other books out there, there's no deep, dark secrets among the Westmores. They love each other, bicker with each other and are always there when they need each other.

The story itself was utterly adorable and like I said I didn't want to put the book down until I was finished. If you are looking for a feel good romance that will leave you with a huge smile, this is definitely the book for you!

This was my first Jennifer Snow book and it won't be my last. I really like her style! I am so thankful to Netgalley for the ARC they gave me in exchange for my honest review.

Olivia & Ben had fantastic chemistry. This was a really fun story with a nice bit of originality in the storyline that set it apart from other romance books.

I enjoyed this story very much and look forward to the next book in the series.

Absolutely loved the second book in Jennifer Snow's "Colorado Ice" series, MAYBE THIS LOVE. Readers will fall for Olivia and Ben's story. Perfect blend of romance, laughter, tears, and hockey action. Both Ben and Olivia are on a quest to fulfill their hearts' biggest desires when their paths cross due to a drunken indiscretion and subsequent Las Vegas marriage by Ben. Sparks fly when Ben meets his bride's divorce lawyer, Olivia, and they struggle to keep things professional. Readers will LOVE the intense back and forth between the two and will eagerly turn pages to see what happens next. Definitely recommend!

RATING 4.5 STARS

Maybe This Love is book two in the Colorado Ice series by Jennifer Snow. Wow, I loved this one. This is Ben Westmore’s story. We know Ben as the player of the Westmore family. We find out, though, in this book, that there is so much more to Ben, and I can’t wait to tell you about it.

Ben Westmore is a professional hockey player for the NHL. He is Captain of his team, the Colorado Avalanche and is MVP in the league that season. We know Ben as a player. With his good looks and celebrity status, he can have any woman he wants and he takes advantage of that fact. Any woman he is with knows in advance that he does not want anything more than a night of fun. That he is not the least bit interested in a relationship.

Ben is not a drinker. He takes care of his body. But four months ago, New Years Eve, things got out of hand. His memory of that night is pretty murky. Ben has taken his team to the playoffs twice before. And they have made it again this year. He has a reputation for choking under pressure in both the previous playoffs. This year is the one, the year he will take his team all the way to the Stanley Cup. Right when he should be concentrating on nothing else but training, though, he’s informed of some surprising news related to that crazy night four months ago.

Olivia Davis has spent all of her adult life concentrating on her career and she is very successful. But she’s also alone. She wants a family but doesn’t see it happening in the natural way so she has been considering other methods of getting pregnant. The day Ben Westmore came into her office, it was like a punch to the gut. The electricity was crazy between them. She knows full well of his reputation. It must just be her hormones reacting.

Ben can’t get Olivia off his mind. To see her socially would be inappropriate in so many ways. But he can’t stop thinking about her. He helped to orchestrate a couple of encounters and all it did was make their attraction stronger instead of getting her out of his system. He needs to concentrate on nothing but the playoffs but all that is in his head is Olivia.

These two were just so fantastic together. It just took them awhile to figure it out. I loved their chemistry. Olivia learns that there is so much more to Ben than his reputation. He opens himself to her in ways he never has with anyone else. Both of them have walls built around their hearts but those walls slowly fall away. Can they risk getting hurt? Can they let themselves fall in love?

“I can’t get enough of you, Olivia. You make me crazy for you…for your body…your mind…your heart…”

I loved this book right from the start. I didn’t think I would love Ben as much as I did from previously meeting him in the earlier books. I really, really, did, though! Olivia was so guarded. I loved seeing the way Ben wore her down. It was so adorable. I am in love with this series and the Westmore family. I love how close they are. Jennifer Snow, you’ve done it again with this one. It’s amazing. The next book in the series will be Maybe This Summer. If you haven’t read any of the series yet, I encourage you to start at the beginning and meet the Westmores in Maybe This Kiss. I hope you love them as much as I do.

Maybe This Love is told from dual points of view and follows the story of Ben and Olivia. Ben is at the top of his game and enjoying the good life. However when a night in Vegas, doesn't quite stay in Vegas, Ben finds himself in need of a lawyer ASAP. So, while his personal life is getting sorted out, Ben only has one thing to do: Lie low and keep his head in the game. But, when Ben meets Olivia, that will prove to be easier said than done....Olivia has her eyes on the prize. Her focus in on her exciting career and starting a family of her own. She's at a point in her life where distractions are not welcome. So, when Ben tries to pursue Olivia, the poor guy doesn't stand a chance. He's got the worst reputation and Olivia isn't falling for his game. However, the more time Olivia spends with Ben, the more she starts to realize that everything isn't what it seems. Will Olivia be willing to take a chance on Ben? Has Ben truly changed his ways? There is only one way to find out....

Maybe This Love is a fun and entertaining read. This is the type of book that you can easily spend the afternoon getting lost in. The characters are easy to connect with and have an easy banter. I enjoyed the push and pull between Olivia and Ben was excited to see how their story would unfold. Maybe This Love had the perfect balance of sweet romance, steamy moments and a little bit of drama along the way.

Overall, I thought this book was a pretty solid read. This is my first book by this author and I look forward to checking out more from her in the future.

I loved this book! I remembered the mention of Ben from book one and was hoping he was going to get his book. Of course I love just about any hockey romance book, but one that has an exceptional story to go with, as well as being original, makes me take more notice. Ben is a professional hockey player who never really sees himself settling down anytime soon. When a drunken night comes back to haunt him, the team wants him to lay low, especially being knee deep in the playoffs. But Ben never counted on meeting Olivia. Olivia is the divorce attorney representing his so called wife. What Olivia didn't count on was the unstoppable attraction between her and Ben. That would make this impossible right? Can these two still make it work? Grab this book to find out!

**Received from Netgalley for an honest review**

Even though Maybe This Love is the second book in Jennifer Snow's Colorado Series, I read it without reading the first book. That being said, this is a great stand alone book. You won't have any trouble picking this book up and reading it without having read the first book, but the writing style and wonderful story will make you want to pick up the first book and read it too!

What happens when a hunky NHL player (Ben) meets a successful divorce attorney (Olivia)? Sparks fly from the moment they lay eyes on each other!! They try to fight it, especially since Olivia is representing the woman Ben spent a drunken Las Vegas night with and married even though he can't remember most of the time he spent with her. Ben and Olivia seem to run into each other everywhere they go, and the flirting ensues. I love the stolen moments they share.

I loved the characters in this book. I got swept away in Ben and Olivia's journey. Ben's family adds a lot of fun to the story. His mom is hilarious and tells it like it is! His brothers and sister give him a hard time lovingly. It is the family most people dream of having.

I read this book in one sitting. I could not put it down! I plan to red the first book in the series and I look forward to many more books in this series! Great read! Highly recommend!

I am charmed by this book - this adorable, sweet & spicy, and jolly good fun story. I flew through reading it the first time, and I have to plans to reread this one ASAP.

Ben Westmore has a problem. Apparently, last New Year’s Eve he got hitched, and he has no idea to whom nor he does he remember saying any vows. It’s the last thing he needs with the Stanley Cup right around the corner. So, he’s at the lawyer’s office for the meeting and parks his huge Hummer only to block in a sports car. The lady stuck inside said car hurdles over her center console to get out right before her hair gets stuck in a tree branch. She’s beautiful. The woman, however, is his faceless wife’s lawyer -- one with an impeccable reputation for delivering a good spanking in the courtroom. And? He’s attracted to her like none other.

Oh, screw him.

Olivia despises athletes. She’s done enough divorce cases for their wives. Unfortunately for her, Ben Westmore is her client’s opposition and the man she just can’t get out of her head! She blames her hormone injections. After all, Olivia wants a family of her own and to do that, she goes through insemination. Right before things heat up with Ben and she’s caught in a web of her own making.

Oh, screw her.

I loved, loved, loved this book! The small-town community they live in constantly throws them together into the funniest scenarios. Being a small town girl myself, I could relate and I laughed as I cringed in sympathy. They try so hard to resist.

“Do I make you uncomfortable?”

Damn right. And it should be her making him uncomfortable. There needed to be a power shift between them and fast. “Of course not.”

He pulled her closer. “You make me uncomfortable.”

Also, I want to be Olivia in my next life. She’s a kickass lawyer who goes after the child and family she wants. She’s so proactive even though she fears being a good mother and making the right choices. Through all of this, she’s fighting her unlikely attraction to sweep-her-off-her-feet Ben, the hockey player. Oh, these two! They’re like little kids with their antics, constantly out to best one another only to entangle their emotions all the more. What could be more challenging than resisting?

But Ben. Oh, Ben! He’s fantastic and has a heart of gold. Though he has a player’s reputation, Olivia gets a glimpse of the kind and caring man behind the scenes. His charm, though, hits her like a freight train, and she doesn’t stand a chance. Ben doesn’t want a commitment, though. During most of the book, he states quite emphatically he doesn't want the added complication of a wife. The irony then is that he ends up getting married anyway right before Olivia enters the picture wanting a family.

And then there are the secondary characters. Ben’s mother is total goals. She throws Ben under the bus on more than one occasion. Then there’s his brothers and sister. Ben has a reputation for choking at the Stanley Cup finals, and the grief his family gives him! I have an idea for the next couple in the series, and I can’t wait.

Though I wish the book had an epilogue, this story was so cute and fresh and the banter...I can’t recommend this story enough. 5 blow me away stars! Keep ‘em coming, Ms. Snow.
