Even though Rebel of the Sands was published a while back, I still hadn't gotten around to reading it. The new paperback cover is BEAUTIFUL and I couldn't help myself but download the excerpt. Well I'm in - I have to have this book and I have to read it all. Three chapters has me completely hooked!

Before I'd even finished this sneak peek, I ran over to Amazon to put this book on my Kindle.  The locale, with its mash-up of desert culture and Old West attitude, is unique, and Amani's narration provides a unique point of view.  I can tell I'll be up all night reading this one!

Excited to get a chance to read the first few chapters of this much talked about book. Perfect time to catch up, before the next installment arrives this spring!

I've actually already read the whole book and I guarantee you it's absolutely stunning! Alwyn Hamilton writes marvellously. I adore her! Pick this up!

This is a really great sneak peek into  the book Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton! I love the scene in her uncle's shop, its one of my favorites out of the whole book. I like her attitude and how she lies, but doesn't.

This sampler was SO GOOD!  It immediately pulled me in.  This is definitely a series I need to read asap!

The Wild West meets the Middle-East, complete with sharpshooters! Consisting of only 2 chapters (maybe 3?), this sneak peek was exactly what I needed to read before committing to buy this book. And upon finishing, I'm convinced that not only do I want Rebel of the Sands, I NEED it. 

Sneak peek provided by NetGalley, and I do believe it's a 'read now' title, so go get your hands on it (Although I'm sure it's probably the same thing you'd get if you hit 'Send a sample' on Amazon). Either way, just read it -- even though it's super-short, it's mighty enjoyable.

I was completely captivated while reading this excerpt of Rebel of the Sands. The writing is very good and the details take you right there to the desert. The main character, Amani, is somewhat rebellious and can be easily identified with- a girl longing for a better life. I cannot wait to find out what happens next! I will definitely be purchasing this book.

Great debut YA title, with a strong, plucky heroine and mysterious hero, sure to please teen fantasy readers (and adults, too)!  Creative magical world, with a dystopian western flavor and djinn mythology, which is unusual and gives it a fresh feel in a field full of YA fantasy titles.

Great book so far, full of adventure, can't wait to read more.

I originally read this book in April 2016 (on loan from the library).... I'm so excited that the second book is finally here... I just can't wait to read it. 

Wow - Great Book - Just Amazing!

When I picked this book up, I was not sure what to expect. I had read some great reviews about it and thought it was worth a try. I'm so thankful that I listened to my gut and read it... What an amazing story. I loved every minute of it and had a really hard time putting it down. I feel like it had just the right mix of excitement, anticipation, hints of romance, family, friendship, and so much more. It was engaging and really fun to live with. I sincerely hope to see a sequel soon.... 

I highly recommend this book to everyone from Middle School on up to 99+ year old.

I am not one who often reads sneek-peaks of any kind, I usually refrain from reading them. But this book caught my curiosity so I thought why not ready the sneek peak? 

Oh an I am already regretting it, because I want this book, right about now!!! The whole premise of the story, the main character everything draws me in. The desert, the whole Arabic setting it just sounds wonderful! 

I will definitely be buying this book really soon,

Hamilton's writing and storytelling are just amazing and every fantasy fan should give this series a try! I loved it to no end

A fun & fast paced adventure. I was quickly hooked on the characters  & thoroughly enjoyed some hopeful escapist distopian literature, especially during the current political climate. Hamilton does not disappoint & I'm looking forward to the next book!
