Interesting, engaging and unique. The plot was captivating and enthralling, the prose beautiful, the mystery well delivered and the characters strong. I loved it and would recommend it to everyone. I really hope for a sequel.

Susan MacIver blew my mind away with this book. The detail that went into the world building was near perfect. I felt connected to her characters and the story by its self was mind grasping. I will admit though that it did take a couple of chapters to get there but once you do it physically pains to put the book down. Its been awhile since i felt that much for a book I am defiantly going to put this on my new year re read list.

My review will be posted on my website on 2/25/17

A different view of what might be if Atlantis still existed under the sea. The progression of evolution of them. Add in a girl from our world who could save them all and you have a perfectly story to immerse yourself in.
My only problem is the switch of characters ever chapter became confusing to me.

Although the synopsis of the book was enthralling and the plot idea was generally good I felt that the story wasn't plotted out very well. The beginning felt very rushed and I would have liked more background on Daria before being immediately thrust into the climax of the story. I also felt that too much information was being given at one time. The dialogue and descriptions were too wordy and made a chapter a task to get through. All in all, I didn't really enjoy this book.
