I love the Buzz Books and it's fabulous to be able to enjoy them now every month.
They always offer excellent suggestions of future releases for my bookclub and give a good idea for what to read next.

Great way to preview books and get ideas of what is coming out soon. Not something that a library would purchase, but interesting to read.

Nice collection of new books. Still slightly disappointed with the fact that most if not all excerpts were publisher before, but still a nice reminder of the new books coming. Especially appreciate the list with books to come at the start.

This edition was a bit of bust for me, but maybe that’s a good thing. I would be in serious trouble if I added all seven books that were sampled to my already daunting pile of books to be read. Of the seven, only two piqued my interest enough to even consider picking them up and probably not right now.

American War by Omar El Akkad - not my cup of tea.

The Radium Girls by Kate Moore - I’m adding this one to the maybe pile. Sound like a powerful story.

This Is Really Happening by Erin Chack - I’m not really into personal essays at the moment.

The Legend of Skyco Spirit Quest by Jennifer Frick-Ruppert - This is not something that interests me.

The End of Our Story by Meg Haston - The cover initially spoke to me, it’s quite pretty and promises a love story, but the sample left me a little underwhelmed.

Definitions of Indefinable Things by Whitney Taylor - I’m not the biggest YA reader, but something about his author’s writing grabbed me. Maybe it was the humor.

Gem & Dixie by Sara Zarr - Another YA that didn’t hold any promise for me.

I didn't find any new books to pick up when reading this selection, but it did have excerpts from two books I already plan on reading. It's always worth it to check out the buzz books.

I love that they divided the Buzz Books Spring/Summer into monthly installments - it makes it much easier to see what books are publishing on a month-to-month basis. I enjoyed the excerpts from American War (by Omar El Akaad) and Radium Girls (by Kate Moore), both of which I had heard about before but now are higher on my TBR list. I also liked the lists in the beginning of a great number of books publishing this month - which were also organized by week - including Beartown (Fredrik Backman) and Waking Gods (Sylvain Neuvel). April is going to be a GREAT month for reading! :)
