Wonderful book about following the little brother as he searches for a toilet to go potty in. The journey is fun to read about and little kids are going to love learning about transitioning from their little potty to a big potty. Wonderful characters and beautiful illustrations to tell this story.

A great hit with my granddaughter!
My granddaughter is 2 years old next month and having cracked potty training, is now ready to move on to the adult toilet for times when the potty isn't available. This book was perfectly timed for her and she loved it. She's not a great reader, but this really caught her attention and I had to read it four times on the trot. Later that day she needed to go and had no potty - she imagined herself being Doggy, sitting on the big toilet.

The story revolves around Doggy who has his toilet roll in hand, but finds all the potties occupied. He's desperate, and when he discovers the bathroom, with a vacant toilet, he thankfully uses it - flushing and washing his hands afterwards.

If I'd been left to gauge this book's star rating on my own, judging it on behalf of children, I know I would not have given 5 stars, but this one was out of my hands - a resounding five stars ***** !

I thought that this book was cute and funny and its an excellent way to persuade our little ones to leave the potty and use the toilet independently. An excellent book - 4 stars from me

An interesting guide on potty training and moving up to the big leagues of using the big toilet. Doggie was forced into stepping into the big toilet but he didn’t let it overwhelm him he was in too much of a hurry to do anything but the urgency, and he was quite proud of his accomplishment. I have never read a book on how to do your do but it was rather an eye-opener, so If you parents out there have kids that are afraid of the big toilet and do not want to give up their potty then give this book a try, it might work I can't say for sure but it’s worth a try.

This is a hilarious little book about a puppy who has to "go" urgently but all the potties are occupied! The secret message behind this story is that it is a heroic thing to finally use the grown-up potty and use it correctly with all the essential rituals after the business is done.

Cute adorable illustrations. Great to read to that little one who is scared of the "throne."

Had me chuckling. Your kids will love it too.

Thank you NetGalley and Clavis Books for the ARC. This is my honest review.

Hee hee, as soon as you have a potty book my kids are interested, we loved the sense of speed in this book as the little dog desperately tried to find a free potty - it's URGENT! However, all the potties are taken with a variety of animals doing a variety of toileting manouvers.... the illustrations are brilliant with just the right amount of poo on show to remain funny but not too disgusting. Thank goodness the big toilet is free, and not as scary as it seems. With one more round of potty training to go, this is a definite favourite in our house.

A cute story but not something I feel I can reasonably use in my classroom.

I've got to go is an awesome potty training book. It starts with Doggy who has to go but sis is on his potty because someone is on her potty and so on. In the end Doggy goes to the big potty. He sees that it is not scary ad proudly give his potty to sister since he now knows he can use the big potty. I will be buying this book to put in my bathroom with all the little ones around I think this will be a great book for them while in the bathroom.

I personally did not care for this particular book. I do see the need and I know there are parents out there who will appreciate the theme.

"I've Got to Go" is funny story for kids. A little puppy wants to go for loo. But his potty is taken by his sister, Her sister potty is taken by mouse. This chain goes very long. At last Puppy, go to toilet instead of potty and use it. He used it first time and follow every step properly. He felt proud of himself for that.

With hidden intention of teaching kids toilet etiquette, book used funny approach. I like the approach.

A dog, who by the way carries a personal roll of toilet paper, has to go potty. His sister is happily sitting on his, which looks just like a dish a dog would be eating or drinking from! Don’t get those confused! From there it becomes a chain of progressively larger animals using the smaller one’s toilet dishes; the funniest is the elephant, who squashes them. The whole thing is designed to get Dog to use the human toilet.
Nothing wrong with it in particular, but doesn’t seem all that engaging either. Even a three-year-old can go through this in less than five minutes.
2.5 pushed up to 3/5

There are great books about potty training to read to toddlers. This is not one of them. Parents would be best served by finding another picture book for help in this area. That said, children may find the whimsical and colorful illustrations of animals on potties amusing.

Liked: The art is really cute and bright. It is not an obviously you are learning things type of potty training book. If you are trying to get kids to potty train you could sneak this in.

Every child on the planet loves potty humour and this potty humour is best because it really is about going to the potty.

Oh my! Little Doggy has got a huge problem. He has to use his potty... NOW! His problem? Sis is using his potty. Oh dear! She's on his potty because Mouse is on her potty... Frog is having a wee in Mouse's potty... Zeba is doing his business around Frog's potty... Giraffe perches on Zebra's potty reading a book... Elephant crushes his potty so that's why he has to borrow Zebra's... ooohhh my goodness, this is all too much for Doggy!! He has to GO..............but where?

Doggy's in trouble. His need is VERRRRRY URGENT NOW!!!! Do you think he can find a solution before he has an accident in his pants? Has he run out of options or is there still hope that all will turn out well?

Both kids and adults will be laughing their heads off as they discover how Doggy finally finds relief and just in the nick of time I must say.

This funny and charming book is one that everyone can relate to and will be a perfect read aloud to share. The illustrations are such a delight and you will be cheering little Doggy on as things intensify until finally he experiences the relief he so needs. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! FLUSH!!!!!

This was pretty funny! I am sure potty training toddlers will find it pretty funny, too! The illustrations were priceless; one would hope the kiddos would take a hint and use the potty!

Toilet training is not the easiest thing for children and transitioning from their own little potty to the big toilet can be scary. This little book is just the thing. When all the animals in the house have to go at the same time, Doggy is in trouble. The only place left for him to go is the big toilet. He makes it just in time and does his business and takes care of wiping and washing his paws just like a big dog. He is proud as punch as he heads off to share his success. The illustrations are a hoot and the story, while simple, will make kids laugh. I will need to get this one for my grandkids.

All the Animals in the House have to go potty at the same time. That only leaves the big person toilet for Doggy. When you gotta go, you gotta go. A fun story with cute illustrations that will be a hit at storytime.
