I love books of this genre - the premise of the storyline looked just what i was
looking for to pass a lazy afternoon .
I would suggest reading the previous book in the series to set the characters and worldbuilding in place .

Marika and Devon are opposites - neat freak meets free spirit , with a messy side - but once they realise
they are mates sparks fly .
This book is filled with shifters , both born natural and lab born , along with aliens and possibly vampires and zombies - which always make for an entertaining story - when it doesn't get too crowded .
There is danger and suspense but also a lighter side too - where will they story take us ?

But I hate books that leaves the reader with a cliff hanger - URGH!!!!

I liked Devon and Marika together, but the book has a cliffhanger, which I didn't like. Also, hard to keep track of aliens, shifters (natural and lab made), possible vampires and zombies. Seemed a bit crowded. Not exactly sure what the issue was with the water and the pipeline, but I guess that is why there is a cliffhanger. Would recommend, but suggest you read the other in the series, which i did not, as it would help with the confusion.

No no no, this book can't end like that, I want to know if Mari and Devin made it out, also did Barry betray Charli. Now I have to wait for the next installment in the series, so not fair. Ok I'm done venting, loved the storyline was quick easy to follow and captivating and the chemistry was melting the sheets.

I really had trouble getting into the book initially and getting caught up in the emotions of the characters. The storyline was good, but it just didn’t stand out in my mind amongst other books in the genre. The blurb was great, but overall the book just fell flat for me.

FUR FOX'S SAKE by Milly Taiden. Marika and Devin, our lovely couple in this tale, could not be two different people. He's a neat freak and she's a free spirit and just a bit on the messy side. I truly enjoyed when they discover they are mates and how they face it. The plot kept me interested too. It was interesting and intriguing the "scientific" method of becoming a shifter. Ms. Taiden writes that part well that almost had me believing it's real! :) I would recommend reading book one as it certainly can help clarify a few things. If you enjoy paranormal shifter stories that have some danger/suspense, but are on the lighter side too, this one is for you. Ms. Taiden had me smiling and successfully created a feel good story that made me want more. On that note, this tale is a standalone but it does leave the story plot unfinished, not Marika and Devin but the story as a whole. (received ARC for honest review)

Fans of mysteries, shifters, and new chances at love will be absolutely smitten with this book. Losing your first love isn't always the end of the road for your heart, and sometimes odd circumstances can help your heart bloom anew.

I love the author and I am a huge fan of her pda series whilst this is a decent book but it is not one of her best and ends with an HFN with no epilogue.

This was very difficult to get through. I had no emotional connection to the H or h.

I didn't enjoy this book as much as I was hoping I might. For a story about shifters, there was very little shifting in the book. I wanted to see the characters' animal side just as much as their human side but they only came out for a tiny portion of the story. I was a bit disappointed by that.

If you are looking for a standalone, I would not suggest reading this book. This is the second book in a series that has an overall storyline that spans across more than just one book.

Very punny title, however I was distracted by typos and didn't really get into it. There are many shifter books like this and nothing really jumped out as me and set this book apart from others. It was a fun read, but didn't rock my world.

Great character development, intelligent messy female nicely balances OCD male. Good back story, strong characters, what's not to like

Good story line with characters that keep the reader invested and turning pages. Will be looking for her books.
Ebook from Netgalley and publishers with thanks. Opinions are entirely my own.

Unfortunately this story was just flat for me. The character development was there, but just not enough in the story to grab and hold my attention.

Book 2 in this series - continuation from book 1. Featuring Fellowship Agent Devin while investigating a death finds his mate fox shifter and genetics Marika. Who is working on the shifter gene and Barry. It all ties together with the bad guy creating the ultimate solider and the trouble that will cause. Another fun and hot book from this author.

Sorry I just could not get into this series. I just felt the writing lacked something that could get me involved instead of bored

M/F Shifter Romance
Warning: Unfinished ending – not quite a cliffhanger, but close

I would suggest reading book one as you will need to know who the characters are from that one because they are in this one as well.

Okay, this book was kind of all over the place for me. While I really liked the story, I sometimes had a hard time following what was going on. We have the main couple, Devin and Marika. They are the couple that find each other in this story. However, we are still watching Charli and Barry too and their stories are intertwined.

Devin had kind of given up on finding his mate. However, when he comes to a crime scene, with his extra abilities, he knows that he'll have to get the help from the shifter unit and also knows that they will need the help of Fish and Wildlife since there was a mangled shifter body found at the scene.

The "science" in this story is funny, but developed. There are explanations as to how the shifters who aren't born that way develop and it's almost convincing. You are also introduced more to Klamin, the bad guy. He's interesting and intriguing.

Then you have the mystery of Charli's Barry. When he figures out what and who he was previously, before the amnesia, Barry goes running. It devastates Charli and we see their struggle to figure out whether or not they can overcome.

I really do like that this book left us wondering, but I think that more could have been resolved and revealed. It seems that either the next book will have to have so much information in it – right now, there are 2 different story lines that need to be resolved. However, I can't wait to see what the resolution is.

If you haven't read the other stories in this series you will be a bit lost. This story focuses on another couple but theirs alot of things that were left unsolved thats still a large theme in this installment.
