Fur Fox's Sake is the second in the series and you'll want to read the first one before this one. WE pick up where the first one ends but this time we are with Devin and Marika. However we get a little more to the Charli and Barry's story along with Russel and Detective Gibbons, and of course our bad guy Klamin. 

Created shifters, finding mates, discovering military secrets, and end world chaos. It is fast paced and you just wont be able to put it down. It was a really good book and I enjoyed reading it.

Devin Sonder is a Fellowship Agent on a case when he meets his mate, Marika Paters.  Marika is a research scientist who works for the Fish and Wildlife Service.  They meet when she is brought in to help on his case.  This is a strange case involving aliens and really strange shifters.  It’s a really good book with several things happening that keeps your interest involved.  I enjoyed reading it and can’t wait for the next book in the series to find out more about the storyline.  This is part of an ongoing story line but you can still understand what’s happening.   I received a copy from Net galley in exchange for an honest review.

Short and sweet. I have always liked Milly Taiden books.

Devin is a panther shifter and has looked long and hard for his mate. He is investigating the death of a senator and a very big wolf. The body of the wolf is taken to Dr. Marika. She works for fish and wildlife and is a fox shifter.
When they see each other they both know they have found the mate they've been looking for. Devin is scared to mate her because he lost his adopted sister and nephew. But he soon finds out Marika can definitely take care of herself.

While they're searching for a killer, Marika discovers the dead wolf was practically bulletproof. Charli and Barry find out some shocking news. Russell is trying to take it slow with his mate, Tama, the police officer.

Wow!! Incredible story. Suspense and a little cliffhanger. Sex. Panthers, fox, bears, and multi shifter oh my.

I am giving this story a four but it is more like a 3 1/2 for me, not because the storyline and writing aren't good but because there is no resolution at the end. Barry finds out he is Perry and about his past. In the end he goes back to Klamin and the story ends with Klamin welcoming him back. The End. Obviously more about that storyline will be in the next book. Devlin and Marika are captured and manage to escape their cell but their story ends there as well. We won't know how they get out of the building until the next book. Right now the book ends with them in the hallway deciding which way to go. I understanding having a continuous storyline throughout the series, it was like the book just abruptly ended and you were left wondering if part of the book is missing.

I loved this I was addicted from the start of this book this was one of my favourites in the series so far. I loved the writing style and I loved the romance in this book

I'm so glad to be back in this world!  I really enjoyed book with with Charli and Barry and they make a welcome return in this book.

Devin is a panther shifter and a new recruit after facing a horrific personal lost.  His cat wants its mate and he is trying but lately random females don't scratch his itch - he wants THE ONE.  When a new case leads him towards a certain chaotic whirlwind, his life will never be the same.

Enter Marika.  Best friend of Charli and messiest person on the planet!  She and Dev get mixed up in the investigation, all whilst trying to claim each other and get to know each other!  There are some truly funny moments between them and as per usual the passion runs hot!  Charlie and Barry face ghosts from his past and there is a cliffhanger at the end so I'm now on tenterhooks to find out what happens next!!!!

Book two in the Shifter Undercover series, Fur Fox's Sake was..okay. The plot takes a turn for the strange-aliens messing with human and shifter DNA-but surprisingly, there's little focus on Devin and Marika's romance. 

I normally enjoy Taiden's books, but after disappointing reads of the first two books, I won't be continuing this series.

Fur Fox's Sake is the second book in the Shifter Undercover series. If you haven’t read Bearly In Control to best enjoy this book I would suggest you go back and read it before reading this one. I enjoyed Devin the sexy panther shifter & Marika from the FAWS lab. This is a sexy, sassy series and if you love paranormal romance give this series a go you will enjoy the read. I look forward to reading more

HOLLY EFFIN COW! This book was off the hook awesome! I loved it. The mystery there drew me in and I was hooked. Ok so, before you read this book you must must must read Bearly in Control. Why? Because this one picks up where it leaves off and if you do not read it first you will be lost on parts of it. There were hilarious parts, parts that left me screaming oh yes and one of those was the kick tail cliffhanger. I am ready for the third book in the series. 
Devin feels he is damaged goods, that he is not good for any woman so it is Marika's mission to change that and oh how she does it left me cheering her on. She is a strong willed woman and that is what it takes to tame Devin. If you want heat, mistery, and comedy, then this book is for you.

I really liked the plot especially since it was something new and different. I did not read the first book so there were some things that I felt a little lost on. I loved that the h was a Super sexy Fox ninja, and that she was intelligent. I also liked that while Devin was neat freak and Mari wasn't her was still able to appreciate her system and realize there would be changes made. I'm interested to see what happens with Barry/Perry and with Russell/ Tama. Definitely a continuing series with a HFN.

I'm speechless, but love this book!!! I love Milly and her books

Devin can be cute at times, “hi to you too.” For eff’s sake, if that wasn’t lame as ****. “I mean, it’s really great meeting you . You’re even more beautiful in real life than on that tiny phone screen.” Devin doesn't like when his male sensibilities are hurt, "anger crept up in him . “Just because I want to keep you safe doesn’t mean I’m a caveman.” Devin is one romantic guy, “when we get out of here, I’m taking you outside and effing you in the open forest.” I really liked this book, I'm eager for more in this series.

Milly Taiden is such a wonderful writer I soak up all her books and still look for more. 
So you read Bearly in Control and had questions? Now you can read Fur Fox’s Sake and get some answers. 

Barry!! yeah nope not saying read it (smile) soo we have some slightly damaged Panther hurt and loss filled his life but to move on he surrounds himself with others.

All they need in the mix is a case that everyone and their mama is watching especially those people in high places. Can they fill the heat in having to solve it? 

Oh oh we have a total clean freak to the crazy science type, yeah just imagine. More so as Devin and Mari are up close and personal the old age question starts popping up? 

You know be it real world or book world sometimes our males just love to worry. Devin is no different. Mari will definitely have her work cut out changing the stubborn panther’s mind.

A fun story that answered questions and gave more questions (smiles) hot yumminess and hot scenes. In the middle of a mystery!! Bring on book 3!

Another hit for Milly Taiden. I have yet to read a book of hers that I have not liked. You will not regret purchasing this book.

I love Milly's books and this was brilliant. The shifters undercover series is romantic, funny, hot and perfect reading. Book 3 please!!!

Another great read but I need more, NOW.
I really recommend reading book one first, BEARLY IN CONTROL to understand this story better.
Oh wow, we are finding out so much more in this second book of this series but once again get left with a cliff-hanger ending making me scream, NO, I need more.
Klamin and his project is really scary and cannot wait to see what happens.
The fact Devin thought he would be a great mate as he was not untidy just made me laugh out loud at the fact Marika is a crazy scientist type. I loved the hilarity of a fastidious OCD cat shifter and a crazy messy scientist fox shifter being mates and when Marika kicked Devin’s butt, it was brilliant.
But his constant blowing hot and cold with his being her mate or not made me dizzy.
The little background story of Russel pursuing his mate is humorous and very sad as well, I hope they get their HEA in the next book.
My heart was hurting for Charli when Barry/Perry left her when his memories returned and really surprised at the ending.
This is my honest review of this book.

Paranormal Romance lovers need to read this (but make sure you read book one!)
More info is received in this book that might have left you wondering in book one.
Plus we get lots of Devin, the panther shifter.  And we learn more about Marika, the lady at the FAWS lab.
Our detectives really have their work cut out for them in this book.  Plus more, lots more than what they thought.
I am eagerly waiting for book 3, because I need answers!!!
