Gail MacMillan is a gifted storyteller whose heartfelt stories will be enjoyed by dog-lovers everywhere. I wish that there were more pages in this book....

If you love dogs, and I do, this is the book for you. This book is a fitting tribute to the many dogs Gail MacMillan has owned or known. She weaves her tales through many, many episodes that show the true meaning of man’s best friend and how they interact/interface with men and women. The stories are genuine and interesting, and especially will be to dog lovers everywhere. I highly recommend this book to them, for they will find, as I did, a book so full of the ones we love, that putting it down becomes a real chore. I know I will keep this one and return to read and re-read more about these lovable, faithful, helping furry friends, whom I hold in such high regard. It is obvious that Gail MacMillan feels the same way. Take some time to sit back and enjoy these stories of true love and friendship, which may even help you, the reader, get through some of today’s most difficult times. Try as I did, I could not highlight my favorite, as they are all so fantastically good to read. Each one is better than the one before or after. A must-read for dog lovers everywhere. Perfect for every dog lover. The stories was compelling and poignant.

I loved this book. I love animals and this really grabbed my heart. I know that there are photos of the dogs on the cover, but to improve this book for me, I would have liked to have seen photos of the dogs throughout the book, with each of their little stories. This would have connected me to an even greater level.
