This was an interesting book that had potential. The author could have added more information to his story as this read almost as an essay more than a full book on his life as a foster child. If you want a quick read from someone who was in the system then this is for you. However if you want a more detailed book then this is not it.

This book was short, but had a lot of interesting information. It relates to everyday struggles of foster children. What I got out of it is that even a child from a foster home, good or bad, can make something great out of him or herself when they grow up.
I myself wanted to go into a field of human psychology to help people in need, but as life changes so do we.
I enjoyed reading this book. and would recommend it to anyone to read. I gave this book 5/5 stars because it was very interesting.
