I'm currently obsessed with all things Hollywood. So this book immediately grasped my attention. I was not disappointed. It was so fun to read and with quite a few emotional moments that I did not expect. So relevant with what is going on in today's society. I am a fan of Sarah Robinson but I have to say this might be my favorite book of hers to date. I laughed, fell in love and even cried a few times. This story is a must read!

A passionate weekend fling is only the beginning of this emotional love story. She is young and talented. As an up and coming Hollywood actress, Aria Rose is poised on the brink of stardom. As soon as this last film is released, she will have achieved the impossible and have Hollywood at her feet. One amazing weekend with Ben Lawson was meant to be just a fling. Now, both of them are having a hard time walking away. It just cannot happen, though. He is the CEO of the studio and she does not want to tarnish her image.
This is a runaway romance with a powerful message. Where men would be praised, women are devilized. Is this fair? Equality for women is still a goal. The unfairness of how women are judged could end her young career. Aria must find the strength to face her critics and rise to stand for what is right and just.
Quite a story of fighting for what Aria believes. It is inspiring and emotional in a way you will be cheering for her.
I am voluntarily reviewing this title. I thank the author for sharing a copy of her book with me.

Sarah Robinson blew me away with Nudes. It is not a simple actress Aria and studio head Ben meet and fall in love. It has so much depth and complexity that will have you in tears towards the end while rooting for the HEA. Robinson brings into the open a complex issue of slut and body shaming and how we as women tear each other down. WOW, she did this so well. We can do better.

NUDES by Sarah Robinson is a sexy, bold and empowering tale that passionately weaves romance, strength, and integrity. In this modern age where social media has been all the rage especially when it comes to fame and popularity, it can also have it’s downfall. Nothing is ever private. Words and pictures are there to be dissected and scrutinized. And so when rising starlet, Aria Rose has pictures of herself leaked out, it will either break her or empower her. Which will it be?
"The photos were everywhere. She was everywhere. Her breasts, her body, her love life on full display for the world to see. It would have been bad enough if they'd just been images of her posing, but these were pornographic. These were her in her most intimate moments with a man she'd...”
Sarah Robinson tackles this a sensitive subject of fame, invasion of privacy and romance in a whole new perspective. She allows her readers to see behind the lights, camera, and spotlight. She allows her readers to see not Aria Rose, the actress but Aria Reynolds, the human being. As Aria tries to navigate and discover how her trust, love, and life can easily take a turn, she too must pick up the broken pieces of her heart as Hollywood tries to ruin her character.
I adore the simplicity and message of this book. Sarah Robinson easily took a mainstream concept of fame and paparazzi and made it her own as she laid bare and stripped her characters to be vulnerable. Nothing was hidden as Ben Lawson and Aria Reynolds were like an open book. Their connection was real. Raw. And palpable from the start. As much as romance was brewing in the backdrops, I love the message of empowerment and strength. All in all, this book is fast paced Hollywood Romance that will for sure leave a smile on your face.

Aria Rose is 25 years old and on her way to becoming a critically acclaimed actress when she finds nude photos of herself online. She wonders how someone could be so cruel to take photos of her unknowingly and post them for the world to see.
Ben Lawson is the new CEO of Shepard Film Studios and has finally managed to get his life back in order after his split from his ex-wife Marion. He knows he shouldn't have feelings for actress Aria Rose but there is something about her that draws him in and he can't seem to get enough.
But one day there lives are turned upside down when the photos are released and when Ben realizes his part in it he vows to do whatever he can to make it up to Aria, although the damage has already been done.
This was such a great book on finding the good through all of the bad.
I thought Aria was such a great character and one thing I loved was her dedication to her family. She had very few people close to her but those that were close were very dedicated, like Steele. She was a caring girl who realized she got in over her head with one of her relationships and knew that she had to get out of it.
The attraction between Aria and Ben was intense right from the beginning although both were scared to get involved as they didn't want it to affect the release of Aria's latest movie. They didn't want it to appear like she only got the job because of her relationship with Ben.
Ben was also hesitant about getting involved with Aria due to his relationship with his ex-wife and what he went through with her. But he knew that Aria was different than Marion and he didn't want to let her go. When he realized how bad he messed up he truly did everything in his power to make everything right and was willing to at any cost.
Although I absolutely hated what happened to Aria with the pictures I loved her response to it and how she was truly able to turn it around in a positive manner. I absolutely loved the message of the author in embracing ourselves and loving our inside and outside.
This book had a truly empowering message and the author did such a great job at having that come out. Loved it!!

I really like Sarah Robinson's books and I was intrigued by the blurb for Nudes, it being a little different from Ms R's previous stories. It wasn't quite what I was expecting but it was a good read.
I loved the message behind the story, it's a very real and sad fact of current life - and not just in Hollywood.
Ben and Aria had a pretty instant connection regardless of the fact that neither were looking for a relationship having both been recently burned. I liked how they were together but would have enjoyed a more of a build up in their relationship and gods, what is it with crossed wires and lack of communication?!? (that's a bit of a bug bear with me in stories even though I know it's necessary at times)
As I said, the story was a good read and one I would recommend but, for me, it was a short read (it only took me a few hours to finish) and I felt there was a little something missing - I can't quite put my finger on what it is exactly, but a touch more depth would, again for me, have made this a great read!
I'm giving Nudes 3.75*.

► NUDES was a very sweet & adorable & sexy Hollywood Romance with a very serious background. A Romance that makes you think and that makes you want to be better and think before you talk/type. Run to your nearest amazon for your own Ben, because this one is MINE!!!
Aria is a 25-year-old up and coming Hollywood star. She's only ever had small parts, but the movie she just wrapped is going to be really big!
Ben is the 30-year-old brand new boss of the studio that produced Aria's film.
And he's also just fresh out of a horrible divorce with his actress-ex-wife - so he's definitely not looking for anything new.
But then Aria and Ben meet and it's insta-love/lust/attraction for both. But they agree that it can only ever be this one weekend while he's not yet officially her boss. Because it could destroy both their careers once people find out - especially hers!
But of course once you find something real in Hollywood, you can't just forget about it after just one weekend.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH ARIA & BEN?
WILL HOLLYWOOD GIVE THEM A CHANCE AT A HAPPILY EVER AFTER??
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT ☺

I loved this book!
I really loved it! And yes, I sound a bit suprised! Because I was expecting something soo completely different.
I wasn't going to mention the cover in the beginning of my review, but I just have to. But please remember that I just said that I LOVED the book. Keep that in mind while reading my little upcoming cover-rant.☺ Or if you love the cover, just scroll past it!!! ☺ Also, I know that the cover has special meaning to the story and the author. It's supposed to be one of those DO OR DON'T JUDGE A BOOK/PERSON BY THEIR 'COVER'? moments. .... but still ....
PLEASE - if you haven't read the book yet, but are a bit scared all of a sudden - READ THE BOOK! Don't judge it by the cover - please! Don't be scared! ☺
Okey Dokey - here goes ... When I imagine myself walking through a bookstore or scrolling down amazon, and I would come across this cover .... imagine it would be you ... what would you do? Yeah. I would keep on walking or scrolling.
I don't even know why I have so many problems with this cover. I would almost say that I'm disgusted by it. And, yes, I know that makes me sound completely sexist or homophobic!!! Grrr - not what I mean! Especially because the morale of this whole book is about the stupid double standards in Hollywood!
But there are sooo many reasons why I dislike this cover so much. First of all, as an author, I would never release a romance (a non-lesbian romance) with such a cover, because I would know that I'd lose lots of potential readers. Because we romance readers - most of us - we want a sexy romance to take us away from real life for a while. We want the sexy guy to fall for a normal girl (read: us) and we want to see exactly that on the cover. A sexy guy! Mayyybe a cute couple. Or just a city skyline or a uni-colored cover with just the title. Basic. BUT, we do not want a naked lady on that cover.
And our Aria in this book? There is not a single thing in this whole book or about Aria that is anywhere close to how what this cover makes us feel/think - other than the hair-color!!! Aria is a beautiful, sweet, adorable, kind, nice, good, loveable, loving, amazing person. And that cover-lady does not bring these characteristics across at all. Yes, I could imagine Aria doing a photoshoot like that for W-Magazine, but in this book, she does not come across as this cover person!
I know I'm weird with things, and Sarah explains why and what and where she was going with the cover at the end, but I still don't like it - and for better sales, I would really recommend changing it. BUT - of course I'm just being my stupid self and I'm joining the masses of people who do what Sarah wants people to NOT do and think and write, but I can't help what I feel about things!
A tiny little thing about the title? I know people these days love Hollywood Romances, and I think it would be better to somehow put that in the title. NUDES sounds like ... nothing. Nakedness. Naked art in my opinion. And while acting is art, I don't like the title either. It will stop people from buying the book, because they don't see that it's a Hollywood Romance! Judged by the cover - for me - it's a french porn drama/thriller.
I think I'm gonna stop this rant now - I could go on and on about the cover. But in the end it is SO not my decision what's on the cover of a book! And I also know that many readers will love this cover.
So, please don't do as I did and judge this book by its cover - READ IT!!!! And I know you will love it!
Rant Over!
Back to why I loved the book! Because I did!
I loved it because I love Hollywood Romances and Ben and Aria were soooo adorable. On their own and together. They meet and they just click. It could all be this immediate Happily Ever After, but of course we have lots of problems coming up. Especially those double standard ones. That a woman dating the studio boss ... must have slept her way to the top. And that is soo not the case here. But this is Hollywood and Aria and Ben have some very tough moments to fight through until they'll get to ride off into their Happily Ever After Sunset!
MINIATURE SPOILER COMING UP - please scroll past the upcoming paragraph if you don't want to know anything - even though it kind of already says everything in the blurb!
I think the blurb is a bit misleading - the main part of the blurb doesn't happen until 68% of the book and then it's a stupid case of misunderstanding - and I HATE those. Those unnecessary drama moments in books. Why not stop and breathe for a second and talk about things? Things were sooo obvious in that moment, only not for Aria it seems! And then it takes the rest of the book for them to get back together and only at the verrry end she goes: oh what? You didn't do it on purpose???? UGH! That could've/should've been done a bit different - not as naive and stupid!
But, well, I didn't mind this unnecessary drama all too much this time, because I knew that we'll get our HEA in the end. And the bad people got their un-HEA. ☺
The main characters were very lovable and sweet and adorable and nice and good and Aria's friends and family were great too (I loved her mom - also her manager! She was so not one of those horrible stage-mom persons!) - we'll get to hear more about Aria's sisters in the upcoming books!
I enjoyed reading this book - the whole atmosphere and all those feelings and sparks and moments. I loved it. And I also hated all the bad things that happened! And as mentioned before - I had some problems with the book too, but I still enjoyed reading it very much!
► NUDES was a very sweet & adorable & sexy Hollywood Romance with a very serious background. A Romance that makes you think and that makes you want to be better and think before you talk/type. Run to your nearest amazon for your own Ben, because this one is MINE!!!

NUDES is a contemporary romance set in the fickle world of movies. But it's also a social commentary of sorts with the heroine, Aria, dealing with revenge porn, slut shaming and basically double standards in Hollywood. The romance itself was kind of sweet, Ben and Aria does burn up the sheets with their no-relationship-rule that ends up becoming so much more. Overall, this was a sweet, sexy and relevant romance that fans of Ms. Robinson would surely love.

📚💕⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💕📚
First and Foremost let me say this book is so much more than the cover. We as human being assume that because someone appears to have everything it must be true. Sarah Robinson did an amazing job pealing back the layers of loneliness, kindness, loyalty, talent and I believe most importantly Love that can see beyond judgement and stereotypes.
Ben is the 30-year-old brand new boss of the studio that produced Aria's film.
And he's also just fresh out of a horrible divorce with his actress-ex-wife - so he's definitely not looking for anything new.
Aria is a 25-year-old up and coming Hollywood star. She's only ever had small parts, but the movie she just wrapped is going to be really big! She unfortunately made the unthinkable mistake of trusting the wrong man while on set. With new rules for herself she is going to concentrate on her career and men and dating will have to wait. Even if all she wants is to be loved by someone real.
So what happens when Ben meets Aria? On his very first day as CEO of a production company that he hopes to make thrive. What happens when Aria feels a connection to Ben she doesn't understand?
So without giving away the story I'll say that....I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.
Let me start by saying I think I just read a book that had everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect.
Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.
Thanks you Netgally for letting me read and review.

I received an ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Nudes is a love story between a newly appointed CEO of Shepherd Film Studios , Ben Lawson and a new rising actress, Aria Rose / Aria Reynolds . They met on the last shooting of Aria’s upcoming film Scarlet’s Letters. Weeks later the chemistry sizzled between them especially on the romantic weekend they have. However, their relationship crashes because of one scandal: A leaked photo of Aria’s naked body. It tainted the movie company and Aria’s reputation and put her career at stake.
I really enjoyed it. It’s greatly written and the story isn’t just about romance. It centers on slut shaming and body shaming and the message implied in this book is relevant, realistic and inspiring. Ben is a good male protagonist who loves Aria dearly. I cannot say the scandal isn’t his fault, partly he is at fault here [I will explain why and it will be on the spoiler section]. He sincerely apologizes to her and took legal responsibility of this mess. What he did in the end proved that no matter what happens, he’ll always be there for her.
SPOILER SECTION - Can be viewed on my blog and Goodreads account.
Aria is a strong heroine. People may shamed and make wrong judgments about her, it almost destroy her career and lose her confidence but she doesn’t let those define her. Instead, she handled those criticisms and hate comments with class and continue to live what she loves. To end my review, here’s my favorite line from the heroine:
“Judge me for my spirit. Judge me for my attitude. Judge me for my talent on the silver screen, but don’t judge me for being a victim. I’m not, and you won’t make me.”

What a beautifully-written, emotionally-charged, passion-fueled story Ms. Robinson has penned in this book, encompassing the forbidden romance trope; the cost of betrayal; the rarity of Hollywood romances working out; the value of love and how it can conquer all; and a powerful message about not being ashamed of who you are and what one has had to overcome on the road to success. The way this story started had me hooked immediately and desperate to learn more about the hero and heroine, their growing relationship and the moment where everything goes awry.
Both the main characters are compelling, and had me hooked throughout this story due to their back stories, their playful banter, all that they go through on their journey to happy ever after and their strong chemistry, which spilled over onto the pages in sizzling sex scenes that did this couple's chemistry justice. Moreover, the heroine is strong, brave and I liked how she handled the criticism she received from the public and the Hollywood big wigs after what happens that threatens her career. Seriously, nothing was going to keep her down, even though she had every reason to want to hide.
While the hero, he's already been through one disastrous divorce and knows how hard it is to sustain a Hollywood romance. Yet, I liked that he was willing to give a relationship with Aria a chance, even though they needed to keep it hidden for the sake of both their careers. I also liked how protective Ben was of Aria when everything went awry, and that he was willing to do whatever it takes to help save her career and prove that she had nothing to be ashamed of with his own message about accepting that everyone is different and things happen to good people that are out of their control.
Overall, Ms. Robinson has penned an incredible read in this book, which has me looking forward to her next Hollywood Romance story. The way this story ended with the epilogue was completely satisfying, as it shows how far Ben and Aria have come in their relationship and their careers since the fateful day where Aria's life could have gone in a different direction. I would recommend Nudes by Sarah Robinson, if you enjoy the forbidden relationship trope or books by authors Alessandra Torre, Julie James, Alice Clayton or CD Reiss.

This is a super good standalone from Sarah Robinson. From start to finish I inhaled and loved every word of this story. I had a great afternoon reading this.
Ben and Aria are the main characters. I loved both of them. I was really rooting for them both but things aren't gonna go easy for either. We also get some great secondary characters.
This is one of those stories that I'm struggling to review without spoilers. The blurb is enough so get 1-clicking and enjoy.
Looking forward to reading more from this author.

Being famous isn't for the weak. The world is still so full of double standards. Imagine scrutiny of every little thing you do. Living your life under a microscope, being judged about the way you look, talk or even who you associate with. Sarah Robinson did a great job of writing a glimpse into the life of a rising actress.
From the first chapter you could see the disaster headed Aria's way. She was such a likeable character that I wanted to shield her from what was about to happen. I love that she had a leading man that was good and honorable and even though he wasn't able to protect her from what was to come, he fights for her.
Duel POV's, other woman/man drama from both exes, no cliffhanger and we get a nice epilogue. ARC provided by NetGalley.

4.75 Stars
Sarah Robinson just blew me away with this book. Totally devoured this story in about 4 hours time because once I started I couldn't stop! Aria and Ben had this electric chemistry that drew me in, and honestly much like they couldn't stay away from each other I couldn't stop reading!! The message that is carried thru the storyline reminds us that judging things or others based on what we think we know or see is toxic and hurtful. The way that Ben and Aria each dealt with repercussions of events was heartbreaking and powerful. As much as this was a story about two people finding their connection amidst the drama and craziness of Hollywood; it was also a reminder that if we don't stand up when others spew hate then hate wins. As Aria so eloquently states, "we can do better".

3.5 stars. With a cover this hot, one can make assumptions about what the book will be like but to be honest, it didn't turn out quite like I expected. Ben will be running the studio that Aria is wrapping up a movie for. They meet and have instant sparks but both have been burned before. The resistance doesn't last long thank goodness because these two are combustible together.
I found myself liking who they were as individuals. Despite their fame and notoriety, they were surprisingly down to earth. Aria finds herself in a tough situation that she handles like a champ. Ben really gets the opportunity to show up and he does so in a big way. As is typical with many stories, the characters have a misunderstanding they could've cleared up with a good talk but then we wouldn't be as entertained.
All in all an enjoyable read. Safety: No others for either. No rape or abuse.
Complimentary copy reviewed voluntarily.

Nudes is so much more than a romance novel. It sheds light on body & public shaming and showcases female empowerment.
I am a middle-aged, curvy women who, over time has come to accept that value isn't about looks. I thought the author does a great job in dealing with the stereo types placed on women.
Aria is starting out in her acting career but is still a women . There's instant attraction when she meets Ben. There wasn't supposed to be a relationship between this pair but after their weekend together you could feel the sparks that this couple had for each other.
I thought the book held realistic drama and the perfect amount of it. It showed the good the bad and the ugly when a someone is humiliated and publicly shamed

Nudes isn't like anything I have read before. Is it a Hollywood romance? Yes to a point, but there is so much more to it.
Nudes tells a story of a woman that has her world rocked by scandal, and it is so incredibly personal. I absolutely loved that Robinson took a chance and wrote this story. This book has everything, heart, passion, and life lessons. I knew from the dedication page that I was going to be hooked.
Nudes is definitely one of my favorite reads of 2017.

Where do I begin with this review. This was not what I thought it was going to be because for a while it seemed liked people didn't want this author to write this story. So of course I was intrigued because I like to read taboo or forbidden stories.
Let me say it was not anything I thought it would be. There was nothing in this story that was taboo. Writing is a form of art and freedom of expression, so authors should be able to craft from a creative mind.
This 4 star story had me reading it in just under a few short hours. I was intrigued that's for sure. I liked the seamless plot and the characters. The prologue was very well executed because it invites the readers, like me to want to read this story. It opens up to the intrigue.
Why I didn't give it a 5, it's only because of my personal preferences of the storyline. I don't relate well with a story based about actresses, actors, Hollywood and or whatever pertains to that. I tend to get distracted easily. Hollywood drama bores me to death. But this story was well written and to the point without too much angst and drama. No unnecessary details that tend to drag on were present.
Standalone told in the third person with an HEA. I recommend this story.

Sarah Robinson’s Nudes hooked me at the Prologue, and kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see how this Hollywood story would play out. It’s a romance with all the feels that you’d expect from a sexy romance, but it also has an empowering message for women and should be on everyone’s to-be-read list.
Aria Rose is an actress on the verge of making it big in Hollywood when she finds herself attracted to her new boss, Ben Lawson. She knows it is a bad idea to get involved with him, but their chemistry is hard to ignore. Ben’s of the same mindset - he knows a relationship with Aria is in neither of their best interests, but he also cannot seem to resist. They agree to a weekend affair that will end when the weekend ends, but the heart never adheres to best-laid plans. These two are drawn to each other, but neither could predict just how complicated things would become for them, and their working relationship isn’t the problem. Nude, explicit photos of Aria are leaked to the public and everything is in chaos.
Nudes shines on a light on a problem in current society, and I think any woman who has had any kind of photo, text message, letter, information—explicit or not—shared without her consent will find hope in how Aria handles this extremely painful experience. Without spoiling Nudes, I will say that Aria rocks and won my respect. She’s one of my favorite heroines in 2017, and I am adding her to my book-BFF list. I’ve enjoyed Ms. Robinson’s Kavanagh Legends series, but think Nudes shows a more deliberate and thoughtful side to her, and I am looking forward to seeing what she writes next.

NUDES: Is the first book in the (EXPOSED #1) series by Sarah Robinson
What makes this review so hard to write up is either way I go about writing it up would be divulging spoilers whichever way I go about it. Sooooo this is going to be as spoiler free as I can possibly make it.
Thirty year old Ben is a newly appointed chief executive officer at ‘Shepherd Film Studios’ which is one of the oldest standing companies in Hollywood. Maguire Industries had recently hired him to bring new and innovative changes to the industry to keep up with other firms changing ways which appealed to younger generations. Ben was Shepherd Films last resort.
Aria is a twenty-five year old up and coming actress and a fan favourite amongst the younger audiences. Coming out of a rough relationship she doesn’t want to jump into another one with so many things happening in her life.
Ben’s just fresh out of a divorce from his actress ex-wife and is sworn off woman entirely for now. And vowed he would never fall in love with an actress again, no matter how beautiful she was.
BUT
what happens when these two meet and they feel something they have never felt before?
Souls that feel a kinship when they meet someone with a similar spirit.
Neither want a relationship but they give themselves one long weekend together, after that they both walk away and return back to their separate lives,
as strangers..coworkers..producer and actress.
But what if something stranger than they are prepared for keeps pulling them back together?
The chemistry and romance between the two sizzled off the pages. There's insta-lust, insta-fuck, intsa-love, and I think that’s where it kind of wrecked it for me, it was too fast, they met, they had an insta-lust going on, then they did the deed. I just kind of wanted more of a build up, but other than those small details I really really enjoyed this.
