This book was so moving. I literally couldn't put it down. You become emotionally involved in the story right from the start. I only wish there had been more to read. I was so sad to have it end. I want to move to Silver Springs! Looking forward to reading more

This is the third book in the Silver Springs series by Ms. Novak. I loved the storyline but at the same time I hated it. Don’t get me wrong maybe hate is the wrong word but maybe disliked. I loved it because Ellie never gave up on Hudson she was the light that he needed. Then there was Hudson a man that had been dealt an awful start to life. He was now a very successful football player but he always remembered that he had been abandoned just hours after his birth. So I knew that when Ellie would tell him that she was pregnant he would go ballistic. But the way he did it was not called for he was very mean and he was a jerk.

Ellie Fisher didn’t do any careless things but just once she wanted to be with a handsome man. Hudson King was always careful and made sure that he protect himself from women claiming that they had had his baby. There were many people that would take advantage of him because of who he was. Foster parents came out of the wood work and acted like they did the best for him.

Ellie wanted to do the right thing by letting him know that she was pregnant. But in the end she regretted it but he made it up to her. Hudson was a savior and it seemed that he was charming because she couldn’t tell him know. But what I loved more about Ellie was that no matter what she was true to herself and she never gave up. There were times that he made her mad but she continued being strong.

Until You Loved Me was a great emotional read. I love Ms. Novak’s writing and how detailed she is. The chemistry between these two characters was sensual and passionate. They were so intense together and I love that they were able to make it work between them. I love that Ellie never gave up on trying to find out who his parents were and in the end Hudson was able to have closure.

I totally recommend this read. This book can be read as a standalone.

Ellie Fisher just caught her fiancé cheating on her and even though responsible is her middle name, she finds herself in the middle of a one-night-stand with a complete stranger. And you know what? It was totally worth it. The problem was when she found out that she was pregnant with a baby whose father’s full name she didn’t even know.
Hudson King hasn’t been with a woman in two years but he really can’t resist the fact that Ellie Fisher is not aware of his fame as the starting quarterback for the Los Angeles Devils. But then she says she’s pregnant with his baby and he can’t believe it. He literally can’t believe it. But after being raised as an orphan he knows better than to abandon his child. He will be a better father that his was and the first step is to get the mother of his child living with him.
-------------------------------
First impression: words can’t describe how much I loved this book.
First of all, the cover doesn’t do justice to the book. This book could almost be a sports romance seeing as Hudson is a football player but the cover doesn’t show you that.
The storyline is sooo perfect. I love stories that involve babies and this one was flawless. You know the drill: she gets pregnant, he doesn’t believe when she says the baby is his, but then he changes his mind and does everything he can’t go get on her good side. Seeing as they live in different cities and she will have to stop working no matter what, they agree that the best decision would be for her to live with him. They start by sleeping in separated rooms but we all know how that ends. Also, even though their story starts because of the pregnancy, the book is not just about that. There’s a whole new story behind the fact that he was abandoned when he was one day old that gave so much suspense to the book.
Hudson is a big, strong but fluffy bear. He’s the biggest asshole to Ellie when she tells him about the pregnancy but then when he warms to the idea of being a dad, he’s just the sweetest thing. He’s all man in bed, but he’s also a man with feelings because he never dealt well with the fact the he was abandoned.
Ellie is a serious and responsible scientist. She’s as surprised as one can be when she finds out about the pregnancy but as soon as she knew who the father was she did the right thing by telling him about it. She’s a tough one but she’s also a softy. And she’s pregnant, so of course she will give in to whatever is going on between them.
I loved every single moment of this book. From the hot sex scenes to the addicting suspense, Brenda Novak nailed it.

Thank you Netgalley and Harlequin for the ARC.

I loved Ellie. She wants what so many people want--to be loved and to have a family. She was smart but a little socially lacking. When her fiancee paid attention to her, she was thrilled, and thought the lack of bedroom action was based on morality rather than on sexual attraction. They had talked about having children and she was looking forward to being a bride and a mom until she caught him in bed with a male friend. Amazingly, he still wanted to go forward with the wedding and with having a child, which his boyfriend and he would help raise.

Not long thereafter, she becomes pregnant via a one-night stand. She feels like she should tell the father--the only problem is that she has no clue who he is, until she sees him on television and realizes he is a famous athlete. Once Hudson knows she is carrying his baby, he wants her where he can take care of her and the baby, so he moves her into his house, and of course it isn't long before she is in his bed.

Both Ellie and Hudson are afraid to get hurt; both have walls up, though Ellie's come down more easily. It was fun watching them get to know each other in a non-Biblical sense and sure enough, they decided they liked each other.

I'd like to thank the publisher for making a review copy available via NetGalley. Grade: B.

Until You Loved Me is the third installment of Brenda Novak’s Silver Springs series. I think I liked this one the best so far. Although most of the story doesn’t take place in the small town of Silver Springs, the main male character, Hudson King, a superstar pro football player, was once a student at the school for troubles youth there. He now mentors those boys in the off season as his way of giving back. While in Miami for a pre-season game, he meets Ellie at a nightclub. Ellie is not your typical nightclub kind of gal. She is a nerdy scientist who is there at the insistence of her friend because her fiancé left her for another man. I think I’d need a drink after that also! Long story short, because I think this is worth reading, Ellie and Hudson hook up. She has no idea of his fame, and this is perfect for him. He goes back to LA, but can’t get her out of his mind. She finds out that oops…she is pregnant from her one night stand thanks to a faulty condom. How Brenda Novak brings this unfortunate situation into a relationship that has lots of ups and downs is what made this such a great read for me. She includes the back stories of both characters which are just so interesting, both heartwarming and heartbreaking. I highly recommend this and the rest of the Silver Springs series. I can’t wait for the next.
Thanks to Netgalley for and advanced copy in return for an honest review.

** spoiler alert ** This is one of her better books. I loved that she tackled the someone in a gay relationship and actually had Ellie witness it. I liked Hudson and how he slowly grew to love her. I liked they grew to love each other. I liked this trope of pregnant from a one night stand sometimes. I think that this worked because of Hudson and where he lived. I didn't really like the finding the daddy plot line and being taken for a ride. I could feel the romance between them. I liked that Ellie was smart and had good friends. Overall one of her better books in the series.

Why didn't she do this for Baxter in the Whiskey Creek series? Everything for him was off the pages pretty much and this book had them in bed and being partners. I get that this is a much tougher series. OH, I stayed up late reading this book.

Ellie Fisher is having a very difficult year. She finds her fiancé cheating on her with another man in her own home so her friend urges her to live a little. Doing something totally outside her comfort zone, she engages in a one-night stand. Knowing that this dream man isn’t going to stick with a girl like her…a workaholic that lost her fiancé to another man…she does the walk of shame and sneaks out of Hudson’s bed. That’s right her one-night stand was with a man named Hudson and that is all she knows about him. Which is perfect until the pregnancy test comes back positive.

Hudson King is at the top of his game and career as a professional football player. When the enchanting, shy woman in the bar next to him strikes up a conversation, Hudson is shocked to find out that she has no clue who he is. He’s tired of everyone wanting him for his status and not the person and was thrilled to finally get a woman that is attracted to him for himself.

One scientist, one professional football star and one baby on the way provides a cornucopia of delights for the contemporary sports romance fan. I did find it a little slow going between the hook up and the reunite but Novak twists an engaging and heartfelt tale with tons of heart and emotional healing.

I received this ARC copy of Until You Loved Me from Harlequin (US & Canada) - MIRA. This is my honest and voluntary review. Until You Loved Me is set for publication July 25, 2017.

Brenda Novak excels at romance novels, and this is no exception. The turmoil that happens when opposites attract is present in this book in spades, but maybe they are not as opposite as they think. All her fans will enjoy this book and a great start for new fans.

The third book in the Silver Spring series. In this title Hudson has everything a man could ever desire. He is famous rich plays for a professional NFL theme. Yet with all of this Hudson does not trust because as a child he was abandoned in a yard left to die till he was found and turn over to the police. After going from foster family to foster family he is taken in by Aiyanna to New Horizon home for boys. Fast forward to present time and Hudson has hired a private investigator to find his parents. During one of his away game he goes to Miami club reluctantly with his manager but hides out at the back with shades so no one will recognize him. He then eyes Ellie who is by herself while her friends are dancing. He sent drinks and then introduces himself to her realizing that she has no idea who he is she Ellie wanting to get over being dumped by her fiancee Don for another man goes home with Hudson which is something she never does. After being with him she leaves being somewhat embarrass by what she did thinking that would be the end of her adventure only to find out she is pregnant. This story had it all. A woman overcome a horrible betrayal a man trying to find himself and why he was abandoned and who really are his parents. A great addition to a wonderful series. Brenda does it again. I'm really enjoying reading quick and sweet romance novels lately and this one definitely fits that definition. The story of Ellie and Hudson starts with a betrayal and then a one night stand, and then become an accidentally pregnant story. There's a lot of unique spins on this one, and there's lots of room for drama and angst. In fact, I was suspecting more but instead it wrapped up rather tidily before I expected it. I really enjoyed reading this and kept sneaking more time to read while waiting for my meal in a restaurant or waiting for a movie to start... to me, that's the sign of a really good book. Definitely going to check out more by this author.

Until You Love Me is the third novel in Brenda Novak's latest series. Each book within this series can be read independently and out of order. Once more, Brenda Novak has delivered another masterpiece. A story featuring a single woman who hold herself into a tight wad. But that all changes when she fI ally lets loose for one night. A night of fun that changes herworld faster than she ever thought. Ellie is pregnant with a stranger's child. She never got his name. Her goal is to track him down....only that proves to be difficult. Hudson King has not had the perfect life growing up...and now, he learns that he's a father. He won't let his child have the same life as he did. Co-parenting is the only option. Neither Hudson nor Ellie thought that their one night could end up bringing them together in more ways. Sparks fly. Heat is there and so is the blossoming chemistry. I fell in love with the characters. Their situations reflect real life. Messy, complicated, and never easy. Until You Loved Me is a brilliant contemporary tale. Brenda Novak has reeled me into her latest story. Filled with romance, hope, and maybe a happily ever after....overall, I highly recommend this novel to readers everywhere. Once you start like I did, you won't be able to stop until you finished reading it.

This is a nice romance that has a one night stand, an unexpected baby and two people who are afraid to trust. Ellie has just discovered her fiance in bed with another man and goes drinking with her good friend. She meets Hudson at the bar and the rest is history. Hudson is rich and being blackmailed about his childhood but he finally convinces Ellie to let him help and be in his child's life. No major fights or twists, just a good old fashioned romance. I didn't realize this was part of a series (Silver Springs, #3) until I started my review so it's very stand alone. Will check out the first two to see which of the characters had their own books.

Brenda Novak has always been a one-click author for me. Her solid performances have made it very easy to fall in love with her writing style, quirky characters and small town life depicted in her books. Her Whiskey Creek series became quickly a favorite of mine.

Now her newest series Silver Springs, another cute town this time centered around the New Horizons Boys Ranch, follows former students and their HEA.

Hudson King, one of those former students now a star quarterback, enjoyed life to the fullest until a one-night stand turned his life upside down. Suddenly, presented with fatherhood, something he never wanted for himself, Hudson's life had been derailed. Because of his past, he took the news rather poorly and acted accordingly.

Ellie Fisher didn't fare much better. She just ended a long-term relationship after she caught her boyfriend with another man. Feeling depressed and lonely she enjoyed a sexy and passionate night with Hudson, not knowing who he was or how their time together would change their life indefinitely.

Neither was ready for what was to come.

I liked the plot. Even though it's been done before, the accidental pregnancy has it's entertaining moments. Two strangers thrown together, and suddenly responsible for a new life, makes for interesting stories.

For Hudson and Ellie their old life was over and they had to figure out how to deal with each other quickly. Which unfortunately was a point of friction for both of them. Hudson could have definitely handled a few situations better and he was a source of eye-rolling for me. On top of that, if it wasn't him than it was Ellie who had doubts and made things more complicated than they had to be. So much back and forth. Hudson and Ellie had barely time to get to know each other and because of that the romantic aspect was quite lost. I understood where Hudson was coming from, his childhood and life experiences so far hadn't been the best, and trusting and relying on someone else didn't come natural to him. Suddenly being responsible for another living person scared him to death. On top of that Hudson's unresolved past reared its ugly head and added to the tension and his self-doubt. But still, I just hoped they would have reacted differently at times.

I also wished Hudson and Ellie would have been a bit more trusting towards each other. Not immediately jumped to conclusions. Because of their constant bickering and negotiations I didn't feel a romantic connection between them until the very last quarter of the book. They didn't  make me sigh or swoon - and honestly I didn't feel anything at all for them. I didn't' love them. Didn't like them much either.

I wold have loved to read more about Silver Springs as well. The author usually put emphasis on the inhabitants, their quirky nature, friends and family. There wasn't much of that at all in Until You Loved Me  - honestly it could have played in any other town as far as I was concerned, Silver Springs was barely mentioned.

But because of the author's impeccable and solid writing skills this book was not a complete loss and I'm looking forward to book 4 in this series.

These books were just so sweet and amazing to read! And I kinda almost read them out out order! Because for some reason, while I downloaded Finding Our Forever from NetGalley, apparently I didn't open it, so I when I started reading No One But You, I thought that it was the first book! I realized what had happened when I was halfway through, and had to force myself away from it, but Finding Our Forever was both amazing and short, so I got back to it quickly!

The town of Silver Springs is small, and the one big connection besides being set there, is that all of these boys were a part of the New Horizons program. There were character overlap in these books, but mostly, they were specific to one group of characters. And they had different levels of intensity-Cora's mom, Sadie's ex, and Hudson's past, well, Sadie's ex was the worst!

I really enjoyed getting to know all these characters, and their stories! Of them all, I do think No One But You was my favourite, because of the stakes and the characters, but I really enjoyed reading all of these books!

These were contemporary books, so they were hit and miss with the romance-these characters would collide, but then something would pull them apart, again and again as they worked through their issues. But they did work through them, so they got happy endings! So yeah, really enjoyed that!

I just really enjoyed reading these books, and I can't wait for more of this series!

I am a new Brenda Novak fan. This is my second book of hers and I plan to read even more of her books. Ellie learns her wedding is off and goes out with the girls to a club. This is not a norm for her. But, she meets Hudson King, an NFL quarterback, and decides to return to his hotel. Their one-night escapade leaves her pregnant. Will Hudson think she is a gold-digger? Avid readers like myself know this plot very well. What I like is that this is more than a romance. The characters and storylines are well-developed and makes for an entertaining read. Brenda Novak adds her own special twist to the plot that made it enjoyable and a page-turner.
I loved to see both Ellie and Hudson's journey. Brenda Novak does a phenomenal job with the hero. Hudson is a dream to get to know. He had so many layers to him that I really found myself rooting for him.
Memorable lines:
"Once a secret is out in the open, it became far less tantalizing to the gossips."
"Careful is smart, but too careful can make you miss something magical."
"A person can't run from the past forever."

Until You Loved Me was a beautiful story, this series just keeps getting better and better! Novak has created two very different characters who had a lot of confidence when it came to their professional lives, and even more insecurities when it came to their personal lives.

I read the first chapter of this book at the end of No One but You and was immediately entranced. Yes, this is a surprise baby BUT it's a result of a failed condom (which happens, at least they were being responsible) and she responsibly lets him know about the baby... as soon as she figures out his last name.
I liked watching these two fall in love. Ellie's last relationship ended when when walked in on her coworker/fiance with his (male) best friend... who is also a coworker. The biggest problem I had with the book was how these two were portrayed. Yay for homosexual representation. Boo for making them both so thoroughly unlikable (aka The Bad Guys.)
Yay also for the representation of Hudson King, a football player who seems like a generally nice guy, doesn't sleep around. He's got some demons-- like being left in a bush as a baby and now being blackmailed. His drama (and dramatics) were a bit overwhelming but Ellie handles it all like an adult which was incredibly refreshing.

Four stars
This book comes out July 25
