I wanted to read these books because I don't know anything about soccer. Unfortunately (for me), these books are really more for someone who knows about soccer. They are definitely about the different teams and not much about the game. If you're in an area where soccer is a big thing, you will want these books. They are easy to read, the pages aren't cluttered and you do get a fair amount of information.

A. C. Milan, by Mark Stewart is a part of the First Touch Soccer series.

According to a publisher's note, "First Touch Soccer provides budding fans with an organized an informative gateway to the most dynamic teams and players in the world's most popular sport...known throughout most of the world as football. From club history and culture to fierce rivalries and world-class competitions, each book focuses on an individual team, tying it to its city and country."

Throughout this twenty-four page book, there are full-color photographs and interesting facts about this famous European soccer club, which is based in Italy.

A. C. Milan is an enjoyable and educational book, which is geared towards children, particularly ages five to nine.

Note: I received this book from NetGalley, which is a program designed for bloggers to write book reviews in exchange for books, yet the opinions expressed in this review are my own.

This is such a cool book for kids! My husband and I both grew up playing (and loving) soccer and hope to pass that love down to our son, who is due in August. This is such a neat way to introduce kids to the players and history of some of the biggest clubs in the world. I would absolutely buy this for our collection.
