Snow’s Seduction is the first of a three part serial called A Snow White Werewolf Tale by Kristin Miller. This is obviously a Snow White retelling but this Snow is a werewolf shifter, and let me tell you, she is no innocent. It is Snow’s 25th birthday and she will become alpha of her pack, the White Wolf pack. Snow’s estate is a bed and breakfast but during the full moon, the doors are open to only shifters where they can run free. But they are in serious financial trouble, thanks to her stepmother’s love of sparkly diamonds she likes to adorn herself with. Shifters from far and wide have accepted the invitation to celebrate Snow’s birthday, including the sexy bachelor and jewelry store owner, Malcolm Taylor. Snow has ogled him from afar for years but never met him. According to her stepmother, he could be the answer to all of their financial problems. Also at her party is her childhood friend, now all grown up, Hunter. Hunter is about as sexy as they come and has quite a reputation for being a player. Snow feels comfortable with Hunter and he makes her feel sexy and beautiful. Their chemistry is off the charts crazy hot. But when she tries to talk to Malcolm, she is awkward and self conscious. Nothing comes out right. So who better to get lessons in seduction than from her friend, Hunter, someone she is so comfortable with. Only the more time she spends with Hunter, she starts to wonder if it’s Malcolm she really wants at all. Her heart is starting to tell her that it wants something else, someone else. Hunter hasn’t seen Snow in years. He can’t believe how beautiful she is. But he’s only here for the weekend. He has something important he needs to do while he is here. When Snow asks him for help learning how to seduce a man, he’s all in, except that after awhile, it starts to bother him that he is teaching her how to seduce another man. Something deep inside him says “mine.” But he won’t be staying. So he will help Snow seduce Malcolm, do what he came to do, then leave. Right? This was a short and very hot start to this story and I completely enjoyed it. Snow and Hunter together are crazy sexy but it was so funny when she attempted to seduce Malcolm. Nothing went right. I love this author’s writing. It’s so easy to slip right into the world she has created. I can’t wait to see what happens next in part two, Snow’s Submission. |
Who isn't familiar with the story of Snow White and the seven dwarfs? But this is NOT a child's fairytale! This is a sexy, paranormal werewolf version. In Snow's Seduction, we are introduced to Snow's stepmother who has overspent the Pack's resources leaving the Pack, which is soon to be Snow's responsibility as Alpha on her 25th birthday, in financial ruin. Her stepmother encourages her to seduce and mate a wealthy jeweler, Malcom Taylor, who has come to watch Snow's ceremony, in the hopes of using Malcolm's money to save the Pack. Mating after the ceremony is expected. Unfortunately, having never met Malcom in person, Snow mistakens her old friend Hunter whom she hasn't seen in years, for Malcom. Hunter, a known playboy of the pack who travels the world never staying in one place for too long, ends up in a broom closet with Snow. Once Snow discovers her mistake, she asks Hunter, who's exploits with women are legendary, to help her seduce Malcom. Will Snow be able to seduce Malcom and save her Pack? How is Hunter enjoying her lessons? This is the first of three stories in the series and you'll need to read on to find out! Of all 3 stories in this series, this one was the hardest for me to really get invested in. Luckily, these are short stories and so the pace moved fairly well. Thank you NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for an advance reader copy in exchange for my honest review. |
Snow's Seduction is a sexy yet sweet glimpse into the life of Snow White as she sets out to snare a wealthy jeweler for a husband but falls into the hands of her best friend for some hot, hands on lessons on how to seduce the man she has in mind. It's also an interesting take on the Snow White fairy tale with appletinis, a stepmother who's not all that evil and werewolf pack. Snow strikes me as rather innocent in what she's been tasked to do by her stepmother. Seduce and snare Malcolm in order to secure the future of their failing estate. Problem is, she is rather innocent and she has no idea how to go about seducing Malcolm. Enter Hunter, her best friend from childhood, who's sexy, hot and eager to get his hands all over her. With Hunter, Snow is sweet but attractive and enticing, but with Malcolm, Snow is a bundle of nerves. Her attempt at seducing Malcolm falls rather flat and she's so awkward it's kinda painful to watch. I could feel myself cringe at her failed attempts at seduction. Fortunately, there's Hunter to boost her ego and make her feel better ... a heck of a lot better!! I liked Hunter. He's a bit of a rascal and from hints about his past, a bit of a player, but he's at the gathering only for the weekend and to fulfill a promise. He's happy to get in some fun times with a friend whom he finds extremely attractive and who strokes his libido just the right way. I liked that he's upfront about who he is and what he's about. He's honest to Snow about what he's up to and where he's going with his life. He doesn't make any promises he can't keep just to make Snow feel better (he does that in other ways!). I shouldn't go on without mentioning this is a short read and the first of a three part serial. If serials bother you, wait till they are all out before reading them, but you needn't worry, there is not annoying cliffhanger at the end of the story though there's a promise of more sexy times to come. It's a short read, but for what it is, it's satisfying, well written and fun. Also, if you've read Ms Miller's A Dark and Dirty Tale series, you'll have an inkling of how this story will unfold. I don't mind that there's a bit of a formula to the story because it's still satisfying to read and I enjoyed it. I am now off to read the next one in the series. I want to know what other "sex lessons" Hunter is going to give Snow to help her snare Malcolm. |
Certainly a unique take on the fair tale. Overall good story. |
This is a three part series and it started with a bang. This is not the Snow White we grew reading story tales about. It's hot and enticing. Snow and her step mother have financial issues and the answer to all their problems is coming to the full moon celebration and snow has to learn how to seduce him into her arms and bed. Though she is not a gold digger, she is attracted to him. But she needs help learning how to go about doing this and old friend is more than willing to teach her seduction. Hot, heavy and short but not lacking. |

There are some mild spoilers in this review: read at your own risk. This book originally caught my eye on Net Galley because of the premise: Fairy-tail Retelling meets werewolf romance. It didn’t really live up to my expectations. The first chapter starts of very strong, throwing Snow into a sex-filled closet with…the man she isn’t pursuing? As love triangles go, this one is pretty painful. Snow gets her childhood best friend Hunter to teach her how to seduce another man…by having lots and lots of sex with him. This novella is the first part in a serial/series. This particular installment is set over the course of a single night. While lots of things can happen in one night, sex three times while taking breaks to seduce another guy is a little much. I feel that I often ignore gaping plot holes in favor of a good story, but in this case some of them are too large. It’s constantly mentioned that the werewolves have wonderful smell, and are even able to scent others in a raining forest. But no one can scent the sex on Snow 10 minutes after she does the deed? There are a lot of cheesy sayings throughout this novella that made me giggle. Some of the phrases include: “Clitar Hero” and “Holy horse-cock.”You have to give the author some points for those. Overall, this is a good book if you’re really horny and just want to read about some coitus. Didn’t really see any connection to Snow White, other than the main character’s name (as well a the name of “The” Hunter) and a predisposition to order appletinis. Again this is the first part in a three part series, so more connections may come later on. If I’m in the mood for some mind-numbing romance, I may pick up the next two in the series, but I feel no need to continue. |
Part 1 of 3 This book throws you into the middle of everything from the word go. At the end of this episode there's almost a 'friends to lovers' type of relationship happening between Snow and Hunter, but you know things are about to get complicated. Not too sure how I feel about the stepmother yet or what will happen with the estate, but have speculations on what the gift from Snow's father will be. Can't wait to see what the pack friends and Malcolm have to offer. |
<3 this finishes out the story of snow, hunter and Malxcolm who will she choose? |
Snow's Seduction is the 1st part in the Snow White Werewolf tale. It's the start of Snow's job to secure the rich werewolf to save her pack and bring it back to where it should be. She's always come across the quiet shy girl, but now her stepmother is pushing her to be more and more. She will soon become Alpha and needs a mate. It was a good start to the series and I can't wait for the next. It was fast paced, a little twist to the plot brings her best friend into the picture to help her seduce the billionaire. |
