I could not finish this story, not because there was anything wrong with it, I just found myself completely lost.

PI Jake Longly & Nicole Jamison are asked by Nicole's uncle to go to New Orleans to see about the trouble his A-List start Kirk Ford has gotten himself into there while on location for a movie. Kirk woke up to find Kristi Guidry dead beside him in a locked room at his hotel. Kirk can't remember anything smoking a joint and having sex with her. Kristi is the niece of the local mafioso. Everyone just wants the truth and it looks very much like Kirk did not do this when the forensics show the joint laced with a date rape drug. They need to discover what happened and who did it. Mystery, good food and a look at the good and bad of New Orleans. Great read.
