I've actually re read twice since prior to writing this review. Very very enjoyable and totally capturing in only the way Michelle Smart can be! The first of what looks to be an super enjoyable trilogy. I didnt put it down and was the classic stay up late to finish. Love Michelle Smart and the energy she brings to her stories!!!!

The heroine of this book is a little hard to handle. Francesca is very young and very impetuous and she often acts before she thinks. A lot of it is age and experience, a sheltered lifestyle, and dealing with the grief of her beloved brother’s death. She’s very single minded about getting his memorial hospital built and she has trouble seeing beyond that even at the risk of her own safety. Sparks flying between her and her family mandated bodyguard are the last thing she saw coming.

Felipe’s a nice change from the standard HP billionaire. He’s a billionaire, don’t get me wrong, but he’s not a wheeling and dealing businessman. He’s an ex-military security specialist and owner of his own company. He usually wouldn’t be personally guarding Francesca but he is doing it as a favor to a friend. It’s really not much of stretch when Francesca and Felipe’s antagonism turns to sexy times.

this is a nice little read; however, it is not a believable as some. No rich security guy would do what he did to protect someone, even if he was a friend of her brothers

I definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes a strong Hero and spunky heroine. The tactics h used to seduce Hero was laugh-out moments that I just couldn't put down!

In a Flutter: Fun
Fluttering Thoughts:
Worldbuilding: It was interesting to travel as the story unfolded, from the Caribbean to Italy.
Characters: Francesca was an interesting mix of huffy, conceited princess and passionate, lovely woman. She was young, sweet, insecure at times. Felipe was very alpha, a bit older than her, and yet she was more emotionally mature if you ask me. They made an interesting pair and had hot chemistry.
Plot: The virgin romance, with the age difference air was fun. I enjoyed the tension but somewhere around three quarters into the story I lost some of my enthusiasm for some reason. It was still fun though.
Writing: Third person, past tense, his/her POV.
Curb Appeal: Nice cover, hooking blurb – good candidate for my contemporary billionaire cravings.
