This is the third book I've read by this author and in this series and I find myself wondering if the author's other Whitehorse books have more romance. For a romantic intrigue branded book, this series lacks on the romance. Of the three, this is probably the most romantic, but it's still not great. The characters are so good that I feel there's a serious missed opportunity there. I do enjoy reading them; I'm just left wanting more. The mystery is great and I enjoyed the series just hate the missed potential. |

Travers McGraw is still haunted by the kidnapping of his 6 month old twins...25 years later. He send his son Boone to meet with a private investigator who has some information, only to find the PI dead from a hit and run.
Boone joins up with his partner C.J.Knight to find the answers they both seek, Hank's death and the kidnapping seem to be connected.
The pair manage to get their answers, but not without danger....and falling in love with each other.
A thoroughly enjoyable and fast paced read.
I requested and received a copy from NetGalley to peruse.

A romance you will not want to end. Great characters and plot keep this book fun and you wanting to turn the pages. This author knows how to write a great story. |

Definitely the best of the three books in this series. All of the pieces are tied together, with one more superfluous death added to the toll. Satisfying conclusion. |
This is not my favorite series of books by B J Daniels but I did enjoy them. They seemed to drag in places. I usually love her books so was a little disappointed in this series |
Final book in the story line series. Great ending to the series that had lots of drama and great characters and just a hint of light heartedness to make it classic Harlequin! |
