Whether it is reading about three generations of Stoltzfus women living under the same roof, a cat and a group of Christmas visitors that help a recently widowed Amish woman, the return of an Englisch love, or a misdirected GPS An Amish Christmas Love offers a nice variety of stories by bestselling authors (Beth Wiseman, Amy Clipston, Ruth Reid, and Kelly Irvin).

I always look forward to these novella collections as they allow me to take a different pace in my reading through shorter stories. I get to experience a variety of settings in one book, which is something I enjoy. I also like reading stories from some authors I haven’t read before.

This novella installment was another great addition to my collection. One of the stories I was really excited to read was my friend Amy Clipston’s. I know Amy loves cats and I thought the concept of The Christmas Cat was really neat.

While this story was sad, it was also uplifting as a group of young people went to spend time with a recent widow. I was reminded to think of others around Christmas and try to bring joy to them.

The stories were all unique in this collection, which made for a nice variety as I was reading. I enjoyed all of the stories, each for different reasons.

Four best selling authors come together to write a novella containing four heartwarming Christmas stories. Each story is like a Christmas gift in itself!

Beth Wiseman's wrote Winter Kisses, a story of three generations (grandmother, daughter in law, and grandaughter) of lonely women searching for more in life. When three bachelors rent out the daadihaus, sparks fly! Which one will be lucky in love?

Amy Clipston wrote The Christmas Cat, a story of a homeless cat warming the heart of a recently widowed woman and how the cat and a group of young adults make Emma's first Christmas alone a memorable one.

Snow Angels by Kelly Irvin brings a former couple together. Will Amish David find love again with Englischer Bobbie, or will he stay true to his faith and marry his Amish girlfriend Molly?

Ruth Reid rounds out the group with Home for Christmas. Ellie is spending time at her deceased aunts home readying it to sell. Ezra, the Amish neighbor, does what he can to be neighborly, while being a single parent to his young daughter who suffers from a seizure disorder. As feelings begin to develop between the two, will they realize they are meant to be together before it is too late?

I really enjoyed each story and feel certain others will too!

In “Winter Kisses” by Beth Wiseman, you meet three generations of women from the Stoltzfus family – Naomi, Barbara, and Ruth who just kept me in stitches throughout the story. She reminded me of my own grandmother with some of her quirkiness. Beth Wiseman does a great job of portraying each character and bringing their emotions to life. You can feel the love, sorrow, and expectation from each character as the story moves along. What fun to learn about the three ladies as well as the three men brought into their lives. You’ll laugh, cry, and just enjoy the words from Beth Wiseman.

In “The Christmas Cat” by Amy Clipston, you meet Emma who has recently lost her husband of 45 years, Henry, and will be celebrating her first Christmas alone. Amy Clipston loves her cats, so it’s no wonder that her story has a cat as a main character too. Amish don’t normally have pets in their home, but this cat isn’t taking “shoo” for an answer. Hank, as Emma calls him, settles in nicely during the Christmas holiday and gives Emma some hope and love during this lonely Christmas. Pets can bring so much love and happiness to us. Also, it’s nice to see the youth getting involved in lifting Emma’s spirits. I enjoyed how Amy would have Emma talk about her past and then back to the “now” and then back to the past and then back to the “now” when reminiscing about Henry. Amy’s story makes you long for the love you have from family during Christmas and that want of hope only God provides. Another story to make you laugh and cry.

In “Snow Angels” by Kelly Irvin, you meet David Byler and Molly Schrock. And you also meet Bobbie McGregor, my least favorite character in this story. I just wanted to slap her and send her on her way. Kelly writes a nice love story with the normal bumps along the road. I found myself cheering for David and Molly and hoped that things worked out in the end. I also enjoyed reading more about Bee County, Texas too. I’m glad Kelly picked that as her setting for this story. A nice wholesome story that shows you prayers can be answered.

In “Home for Christmas” by Ruth Reid, you meet Ellie Whetsone and her show dog, Lulu as well as Ezra Mast and his daughter, Allison. Can you imagine giving up the life you know and moving back to take care of selling a relative’s home that does not have the normal comforts of home? I sure can’t. I love how Ruth melds the two lifestyles in this story between Ellie and Ezra and how Lulu becomes Allison’s protector. Her story made me laugh, cry, and occasionally just giggle when something fun happened. She brought the characters to life for me, and I enjoyed how Ellie and Ezra would “work” things out.

Pretty much in each story, you’ll need some Kleenex handy. If you are like me, you’ll wind up crying while reading bits and pieces of these four novellas. The only complaint I have about this book is that the novellas aren’t long enough. I want more of each character. I want to know what happens after the end of each novella. Maybe the authors will continue writing about these characters in upcoming books? That would be super.

So if you love Amish fiction and love Christmas stories, grab a copy of this book now. It is available now at your local retailers and on Kindle and Nook. You won’t be disappointed.

Four different authors and four different novellas. The novellas are all set in Amish country, all taking place at Christmas time, and all contain the topic of “love”. Love comes in all forms, human or animal. Each novella talks about the meaning of the holiday.

Loved all of the novellas.

An Amish Christmas Love

Four Amish stories by well known authors come together in this collection to bring you love, family, and Christmas (three of my favorite subjects!). Each story has a special message and will bring smiles and happiness.
The first story, Winter Kisses, by Beth Wiseman, is about three generations of women living together. Ruth, the oldest, is lonely and trying to land a husband, while her daughter in law Barbara, also widowed, tries to keep a handle on her antics. Naomi is the youngest of the trio and she is afraid to love, lest she be hurt like her mom was when her father died. She doesn’t want to experience that kind of pain so she keeps herself set apart. When three men (who just so happen to coincide nicely with all of their ages) come to stay at the Daadi Haus, they just might find the answers they have been looking for. Ruth certainly tries her best to capture the attention of Jethro, the eldest male, while sparks fly between Barbara and Wayne. Naomi thinks she may have found someone to trust with her heart with Eli, but when he is called home without even saying goodbye, she remembers why she was protecting herself from love. Can they find a way to be together for Christmas?
In the second story, The Christmas Cat, by Amy Clipston, Emma is sad and heartbroken when she has to spend her first Christmas in forty five years without her beloved Henry. On Christmas Eve a cat finds his way to her door demanding her attention and affection. She brings him in and calls him Hank because she doesn’t want him to be outside in the stormy winter weather. She is also supposed to have dinner with her neighbors, but due to the weather she misses it. Their youngsters decide to ride over and check on her with some friends. What started as a cold and lonely night for Emma becomes a happy time full of memories and making new friends. Between hot coffee, sweet brownies, Christmas carols, and cherry bars, the young people and Emma find contentment with each other and in the Christmas season.
Snow Angels by Kelly Irvin is another fun story. I think this one was my favorite of the three. In it, Molly Shrock has loved David Byler and waited patiently for him to propose. He thinks he is ready to make her his fraa, but a chance encounter at an auction with his former English girlfriend turns his thoughts and heart upside down. Will he give up his faith, family, and Molly for this girl who once set his heart to spinning? Or will he finally figure out that love means so much more? Add in some sweet foster children, a traffic accident, and snow angels and you have the perfect mix of fun and love.
The last story is Home for Christmas by Ruth Reid. In this story, Ellie inherits her Amish aunt’s home and intends to sell it so she can travel and do dog shows, since she is a trainer. When she meets her new neighbor and his daughter however, she finds that her plans may change. Although Ezra and she seem to butt heads every time they are together, there is something between them, a spark that can’t be denied, though they both try. When her dog and his daughter hit it off as friends, they may just be pulled together for Christmas.
If you enjoy heartwarming Amish stories, you will love this book. It is fun and lighthearted and good for the soul. I received a copy of this book for my honest review from NetGalley .

I can't say enough about this book Amish Christmas Love. Four wonderful Christmas stories in one book can certainly get you on the holiday spirit. Each book is a stand-alone story so you can enjoy the characters without worrying you might miss something for the next story. If I had to write them I would say the last one was my favorite. Ruth Reid's Home for Christmas was especially enjoyable to read. Anytime you tell a story about the Christmas season and he throw in a dog and a sick little girl for good measure you know the story is going to be heartfelt. All of the novellas in the book were interesting in their own way. I appreciated how each author wrote about the English side and the Amish side equally. The English side was not made to be the bad way of life. In so many Amish stories we see the younger people deciding to live like the English and it seems like they have gone to the dark side. An Amish Christmas Love is four novellas that are enjoyable to read and left a lasting impression on me. I certainly want to read more books by these authors.

An Amish Christmas Love is four novellas telling the story of love, forgiveness, and finding oneself. This is a good read for a cold night during the holiday season.

Winter Kisses tells the story of three generations of Amish women living together. Two have lost their spouses while one has never married. The grandmother is one feisty lady who will keep you laughing. The Christmas Cat tells of Emma who is dealing with her first Christmas after her husband's death. When a feisty yellow barn cat won't take No for an answer, Emma's Christmas will never be the same. Snow Angels is the tale of love lost and found and then interrupted. Will Molly finally have the man that she loves? Or will David let his past interfere? Finally Home for Christmas, is the story of Ellie. Caught breaking into an Amish man's home, Ellie must decide if selling her aunt's house is her best option.

I love how these stories tell of redeeming love and forgiveness. Each of these stories takes place at my favorite time of the year. So pull up a chair. Grab a hot beverage and Enjoy.
I received a copy through Netgalley. My review is my own and not a requirement.

An Amish Christmas Love contains four novellas centered around Christmas by Beth Wiseman, Amy Clipston, Ruth Reid and Kelly Irvin. Winter Kisses by Beth Wiseman is set in December in a snowy Lancaster County. Naomi Stoltz lives with her mother, Barbara and grandmother, Ruth in the main house on their farm. They have just rented out the daadi haus to Amish construction workers who will be in the area for a month. When Ruth notices that the three gentlemen are in similar age to the three women, she is hoping cupid’s arrow will strike. Barbara has been a widow for three years and it is time for her to move on (at least in Ruth’s opinion). Ruth has been looking for the right man since she lost her husband and it is past time for Naomi to marry (according to Ruth). Will these three women get their happily ever after this Christmas?

The Christmas Cat by Amy Clipston takes us to Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania. Emma Bontrager is a sad this Christmas as it is the first one she has experienced alone in forty-five years. Her husband, Henry passed away during the summer. Emma was invited to the Blank house for dinner, but, with the heavy snow, she feels it would not be safe to venture out. Emma is heading inside when she notices an orange tabby cat on her porch. She tries to shoo the fellow away, but instead he ends up inside and resting comfortably in Henry’s chair. Katie Ann Blank is worried when Emma does not arrive for dinner and did not leave a message. Ephraim, Katie Ann’s brother, and Katie Ann (along with two friends) decide to visit Emma and bring her some Christmas cheer.

Kelly Irvin’s Snow Angels returns readers to her Bee County Amish series. David Byler has been courting Molly Shrock for the last year. Molly is hoping that David will soon become baptized and then propose to her. David and Molly are at a local auction when David sees his old Englisch girlfriend, Bobbie McGregor. Bobbie’s father has become ill and she is needed to help run their ranch. David has been in love with Bobbie, but he could not leave his community and his faith. Seeing her now brings back his feeling for Bobbie. She has not stopped loving him. David needs to make a choice about his future. Will David jump the fence or become baptized and propose to Molly this Christmas?

Home for Christmas by Ruth Reid takes us to Posen, Michigan. Ellie Whetstone is a dog handler who travels the country visiting dog shows in her RV. She is visiting Posen to visit the house she inherited from her aunt, Bonnie Whetstone and get it ready to sell. Ellie follow the directions from the GPS and finds a small farmhouse. She soon discovers that she is at the wrong property when Ezra Mast returns home with his daughter, Allison. Allison instantly falls in love with Lulu, a three-year-old Standard Poodle, much to her father’s consternation. A series of unfortunate events keep putting Ellie and Ezra in each other’s path. When an accident takes Ellie away, Ezra fears he has seen the last of her. Is there a chance for love between the Englischer and the Amish gentleman?

An Amish Christmas Love contains four lovely, heartwarming stories. They are about love, faith, hope, trust, power of prayer, friendship, trusting in God’s path for our lives, and the magic of Christmas. My favorite story is The Christmas Cat by Amy Clipston. It is such a sweet story and I enjoyed the antics of the orange tabby that Emma names Hank. I like how the author reveals Emma’s history with her husband and how much they loved each other. Winter Kisses is humorous thanks to Ruth (she is a lively character). Snow Angels had a slower pace than the others and it ties into Kelly Irvin’s existing Bee County Amish series (can be standalone). I am rating An Amish Christmas Love 4 out of 5 stars. The four stories are well-written and enjoyable to read. I liked the life lessons presented in each story. An Amish Christmas Love is the perfect escape novel.

An Amish Christmas Love
By: Beth Wiseman, Amy Clipston, Kelly Irvin , And Ruth Reid
This is a very sweet Amish Christmas collection by four different authors and four different novellas. Any of these can be read as a stand -a-long without any problem .
Winter Kisses
By: Beth Wiseman
This is a sweet story of thee generations of women who live together. Naomi is not married, Barbara is her mother , and Ruth is her grandmother. The two of them have loved and lost. They rent their guess house out to three men. How does this work out for them? Will these women find the love they are looking for?
The Christmas Cat
By: Amy Clipston
I love Amy Clipston’s books and she did not disappoint me. Her novella is so sweet and at times I had tears in my eyes. This is Emma’s story. She lost her husband in July and Christmas his hard for her. A Large orange cat appears at her door, and some young group shows up wanting to cheer her up for Christmas. There are flashbacks of Emma and her husband.
Snow Angels
By: Kelly Irvin
I loved this sweet novella , but felt so sorry for Molly. David and Molly have been seeing each bother for some time. A young Englisch woman from David’s past comes to town. What does this do to Molly and David? Will David leave the Amish ?
Home For Christmas
By: Ruth Reid
This is a sweet story of a woman and her pet dog depending on her GPS to get her to a house she has been left. Are GPS always right? Ezra catches Ellie in his house. What is this dog doing in the house it is suppose to be outside. I laughed at Ellie and her camper.
I loved all of these novellas and think the authors did a great job of writing them.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book by the author and NetGalley, but was not told that I had to give a positive review.

Winter Kisses by Beth Wiseman
Three generations of Stoltzfus women are all living under the same roof. At twenty-five, Naomi has never been married, and both her mother, Barbara, and her grandmother, Ruth, have recently been widowed. Each nursing broken or lonely hearts, they also each have potential suitors. When a storm on Christmas Eve forces the three couples to take shelter in the basement of the Stotlzfus homestead, secrets are revealed, hearts are opened, and all three potential grooms drop to their knees for very different reasons—a proposal, a prayer, and an epiphany.

My thoughts: WINTER KISSES has a charming title - and a unique theme. Three single women. Three single men all together at the women's bed and breakfast for the month of December. I wasn't sure what to think of Ruth. She added a bit of comic relief to the story, but wow was she forward. Eli was a sweetheart and reminds me of someone I know. A very sweet, unconventional romance by Beth Wiseman. Fans of Amish fiction and Ms. Wiseman's usual women's fiction will love this.
The Christmas Cat by Amy Clipston
Emma Bontrager is spending her first Christmas alone after her husband of 45 years, Henry, passed away in July. Although the Amish don’t normally allow animals in their homes, a big, fat, orange barn cat keeps coming into Emma’s house. She shoos the cat away, but it continues to appear in her house, settling on Henry’s favorite wingchair. But the cat isn’t the only Christmas visitor: a group of young people help bring the Christmas spirit to Emma, reminding her that love and hope abide.

My thoughts: THE CHRISTMAS CAT is kind a sad story, but it's also sweet. Emma is spending her first Christmas without her husband and as expected is awash in a sea of memories. The story sways from present to past as she relives her courtship with Henry and their years together. A cat decides to spend Christmas with her, and some young adults stop by to share a meal and fellowship and end up snowed in. A sweet story, even if I did read it with a tear in my eye.
Snow Angels by Kelly Irvin
As a young man enjoying his rumspringa, David Byler gave his heart to an Englisch girl, but he eventually realized he couldn’t give up his Plain faith and family for her, so he let her go. He’s found a new love in his Bee County Plain community, Molly Shrock. Molly has been patient, waiting for the man she loves to love her back. Just as he is ready to propose, David makes a startling discovery: Bobbie McGregor, his Englisch love, is back. Will Molly’s prayers for a Christmas love be answered?

My thoughts: SNOW ANGELS is a sweet and sour romance. David can't quite make up his mind. The sweet, quiet Amish girl -- Molly -- with whom there is no sparks, but part of the life he wants, or the wild, exciting Englisch girl -- Bobbie -- who fills his every thought and dream. I felt kind of sorry for Molly. She had so much to deal with, with her beau having feelings for another woman, the bold Englisch woman talking with her, rumors, and of course, two young Mexican children who just lost their sole relative. Set in Ms. Irvin's popular Bee County, Texas, it plays in with that series.

Home for Christmas by Ruth Reid
When a misdirected GPS sends Ellie Whetstone to the wrong address, she inadvertently finds herself breaking into the home of Amish man, Ezra Mast. Ellie hopes to fix up the house left by her aenti and sell it quickly, but a series of run-ins with Ezra and his young daughter have her questioning whether a hasty sale is the right move. Could this new place with its slower pace be the right home for Ellie?

My thoughts: Ruth Reid's HOME FOR CHRISTMAS is a story with a bit more substance than the previous three. Ellie is Englisch and very heavily involved in the show dog business with a poodle named Lulu. Ezra Mast is a widower with a young daughter with a disease that causes seizures. Ellie's aunt and Dad were Amish, but Ellie is not. She is kind of a misfit in this community with people questioning her and suspecting her, and she herself is not sure of her future. I did enjoy this story very much, though thought Ezra was a bit harsh at times.

Overall thoughts: A very nice collection. I requested it due to Kate Lloyd and Ruth Reid's stories as I love their Amish books. They are different than the average, cookie-cutter Amish fiction. However, both Beth's and Amy's in this collection, were different, too, and quite good.

Recommended for fans of Amish fiction or of any of these four authors.

I received a copy free. All opinions are my own.

There’s a reason I’m a reluctant fan of novellas. Not all stories are meant to be told quickly. I felt like some of the stories in this collection were too rushed and not complete. Two stories were well done and two needed a bit more work. Here’s my take on each story:

Winter Kisses by Beth Wiseman

This story sounded interesting with three generations of women possibly finding love with the renters of their daadihaus. For me, there were too many characters in the book and each couple’s story seemed rush. While the story was nice enough it may have been better told as a novel with more time spent on each couple.

The Christmas Cat by Amy Clipston

This is one of the novellas that was done right. I loved how the story was told in present day with flashbacks to Emma and Henry’s life together. There were enough happy moments mixed in with Emma’s grief over the loss of her husband that the story wasn’t overly depressing. And Hank the cat was probably my favorite character.

Snow Angels by Kelly Irvin

I felt like I was missing something in this story. It was like I should have known the backstory of the characters but had missed out on it. The premise of the story was good and there was enough conflict to keep me guessing what would happen. While not one of my favorites of the collection the story was ok.

Home for Christmas by Ruth Reid

There is just something about Ruth Reid’s writing that pulls me into the story and holds my interest until the end. The more I read from this author the more I like her. This novella (the longest in the collection, I believe) reads more like a novel. It was nice seeing the characters grow and change over the course of the story. The storyline was different which is something I’ve come to expect from this author and quite enjoy. The story and the author’s writing style made this one of my favorites of the collection.

Fans of Amish fiction are sure to enjoy these stories by four of the genre’s leading authors. This collection would also make a nice gift for the reader in your family.

I received a free copy from the publisher and was not required to write a review. All opinions are mine.

Sweet and inspiring stories to welcome in the Christmas season. Each story gives the reader another glimpse into the Amish community. Four authors, each with different stories in one book gives readers a chance to sample different styles of writing. Learning new things is always a plus. I had never heard anything about Tobit, a tidbit of information that had me researching. I love learning new things about the Amish. Highly recommended!

Winter Kisses by Beth Wiseman

I feel like no matter how I chose to review novella’s the first story always bears the brunt. Not necessarily about the story or even in my feelings about the story or the rating of the book. Novella’s are hard for me to love. I have a ‘thing’ about the whole falling in love so fast and jumping both feet in. I’ve talked about that before a few times. Novella’s also have a hard time truly building an integrated story that doesn’t feel rushed or lacking or having massive time jumps to attempt to resolve a story line. Wiseman hit this one out of the park! Yes they fell in love entirely too fast for my liking. Oh the abundance of love stories in this concise little novella. A love for three generations, at the same time! The author even managed to seamless integrate the ‘grit’ (for lack of a better word), that I love about her books, seamlessly. It added to the depth of the characters without detracting from the story of love. This is what novella’s need to be, for me. There was no need to figure out where they ended up and jumping time for a tidy bow. It was exactly what it needed to be in the moment. No need to borrow from the future. No need to dwell on the past. I’m almost speechlessly blown away.

The Christmas CatThe Christmas Cat by Amy Clipston

Let’s keep the awesome rolling shall we? Another perfectly woven novella that developed endearing characters with a strong story line that was just comfortable in it’s own skin. One cozy snowbound night with a grieving widow, a stray cat, and a group of teenagers that may or may not have courting in their future. Memories shared, memories made, a love for the ages. The first two novellas in this collection are everything I didn’t know I wanted in a novella. A snapshot of a moment in time without the overarching need to make it more. Though to be fair, I was skeptical how this story fit with the title. I mean a story about a cat and some kids? But it does. It embraces the title like a favorite old comfy sweater on a cold winter night. Throw in some hot cocoa and I’m hooked.

Snow AngelsSnow Angels by Kelly Irvin

This story had a few very sweet moments that I fell in love with. The story itself as one of redemption and forgiveness and love was spot on. However, I didn’t feel like I had a good grasp of the characters and the larger picture at play. There were moments of the snapshot of time that I loved in the previous stories but there was so much backstory that I didn’t get a good grasp on that made these characters harder to get a good grasp on and to truly care about. They lacked a depth in this story that I suspect has been developed somewhere else that I’ve not read. This story still has a gentle sweetness that I adored and which redeemed what I lacked in character understanding and story flow.

Home for ChristmasHome for Christmas by Ruth Reid

Oh for the love of gravy! Reid’s story wrapped up this collection so perfectly that I have a slight book hangover. More than a snapshot but less than the need for a complete novel, this book hit each and every little tiny Christmas nail on the head. Bringing it all home with characters to love and cherish and a story that was just so fitting and filled with love. It’s hard to embrace the idea that Ellie would give up everything she knows for something that she has so few memories of. However, at the end of the day faith in God, openness to humanity, and a bit of ‘neighborliness’ makes it all just so embracing and honest and ultimately believable.

I was provided a complimentary copy of this book by Ruth Reid and NetGalley. I was not compensated for this review and all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own. I was not required to write a positive review.

Four heart warming novellas that are just right for a one sitting quick read, of course, you won’t be able to stop at just one.
Four different authors and four different stories all set in Amish country, all taking place at Christmas time, and all contain a form of “love”, whether human or animal, they all make real the meaning of my favorite holiday.
Each story is set in a different part of the US, but all are connected by being set with Plain people, and feature a bit of romance, all set in the winter.
This book has a bit for everyone and four of my favorite authors, when I seen their names I know I’m in for a treat.
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Thomas Nelson, and was not required to give a positive review.

I always enjoy reading Amish Christmas books. This one is now my favorite this year. Four amazing stories wrapped into one great book. Each story will warm your heart and have you feeling like you are there with them. I really like the fact that the authors took time to allow you to get to know each Character. Sometimes novellas are rushed. Not these in this book. Even though I didn't want the stories to end, each one was detailed and well written. I never read books a second time but this one will be the first. I plan to read it again in December.

An Amish Christmas Love is a collection of four Christmas novellas. Each delightful tale shares its own special type of love. The Amish language is not overdone, and doesn’t take away from the flow. Each novella includes a short glossary of terms for a handful of words that might not be easily understood, and a group of discussion questions at the end.

Winter Kisses, by Beth Wiseman, is a good but predictable story of three women in Lancaster county: twenty-year-old Naomi, her mother, Barbara, and her grandmother, Ruth. With Christmas approaching, they each receive their own unique gifts. I wish the author had chosen a different name for either Naomi or Ruth. I found it difficult to remember who was who due to the Bible story of Ruth. (In the Scriptures, Naomi is Ruth’s mother-in-law.) Other than this slight distraction, the story was touching and satisfying.

The Christmas Cat, by Amy Clipston, is such a sweet story! Emma is a widow of six-months and her first Christmas without her husband feels lonely. When a stray orange tabby and some kind church friends visit her on Christmas Eve, she relives memories and receives unexpected blessings. A heart-warming read that made me smile.

Snow Angels, by Kelly Irvin, is the next story in the collection. It shows a more complicated love. There are many paths to love, but the most important is following God’s plan for us. Molly is a smart, kind, and devoted character who was easy to sympathize for and root for. Snow Angels is a dear story about loving, forgiving, and the importance of faith and family.

Home for Christmas, by Ruth Reid, is the longest of the four stories and is a lovely way to end the book. The characters have so much depth, and the plain life of the Amish makes you take a look at what it is you hold dearest. Ellie, new to town, is learning about her family history and herself. She is entertaining, well intentioned, and a lonely Englischer. Ezra, a widower with a young daughter, is kind, neighborly, and Amish. In true storybook fashion—opposites attract, whether they want to or not, With themes of belonging, acceptance, forgiveness, and home, this story will leave you with a satisfied smile.

I love holiday stories that express themes of love, second chances, and unexpected gifts. Each story holds a special charm and shares the true spirit of Christmas. Many thanks to BookLook and NetGalley for my complimentary copy.

Four Amish Christmas novellas by four different authors. Each story focuses on different aspects of looking for love, getting past loneliness and overcoming the past and looking towards the future. I enjoyed some of the stories more than others in the book and also was able to discover two authors that I have never read before. I will be reading more from each of these authors. I received this book from NetGalley and am only required to give my personal opinion.

An Amish Christmas Love is a book of 4 Amish novellas that center around love after death.

In Winter Kisses, Naomi lives with her mom, Barbara, and grandmother, Ruth. They have rented the daddi house to 3 Amish carpenters for the month of December. Will one or all of the ladies find love with the carpenters?

The Christmas Cat is a little funny with sadness as a strong undertone. It is Christmas Eve and Emma is settling in to weather the snowstorm and her first Christmas Eve without the love of her life. Two young Amish couples on the brink of forever love have surprised her with Christmas Eve dinner and a chance to share her love.

Snow Angels takes us back to Bee County, Texas where a surprise rare snowstorm has allowed broken hearts to heal.

Home for Christmas brings Ellie back to her childhood home and into the path of Ezra and his daughter, Allison. Will Ellie's dog, LuLu hold the answer to Allison's illness? Can Ezra's heart thaw after the death of his wife? Will Ellie revert back to the Amish way of life of her early childhood?

This would be the perfect book to pull out and read in the middle of winter with snow falling. You will find yourself warm and cozy and cheering for love to win.

Thank you to NetGalley and Thomas Nelson for an ARC to read in exchange for my honest review in my own words.

This book was exceptionally written! Although four novellas made up this book, they led nicely into one another. Each showed off the unique talents of the individual authors! Beautiful Christmas/ wintery tales that are perfect to read by a fire on a cold evening while having a cup of hot chocolate!

Another great collection from some of my favorite Amish fiction writers. The joy of having three generations find love at once -- but in an unanticipated way -- was moving in the first novella. The second novella was a gentle look back in time from a widow sharing with young people of her community -- and a very happy cat. I was unsure of where the third novella was going to go, which made the story a minor nail biter -- and it featured the folks of Bee County! The final novella seemed to wrap up really quickly, so was less believable. I believe that one would have been better in a full length format. Overall, a quick, light, and enjoyable read.
