Sorry, I looked through the book and it is not what I originally thought it would be. I might go back to it again in the future, but for now, I am not interested in it.

I gave a star rating, since I had to, but it does not indicate anything except my disinterest at this point.

My interest was piqued when I saw this title, because I have anxiety and I’m a huge fan of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy! I must admit that I have never tried Yoga before, I continue to see claims that it increases flexibility and decreases stress, so I had to have it. It was very easy to read. This would be a great guide for people who suffer from anxiety and depression. Thanks!

I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. I've know for a while now that yoga and breathing exercises helps me more then anything else. I'm really enjoying and learning so much going through this workbook. It's been a real help in my life.

I read a number of mind/body books as well as self-help throughout the year. Typically, if I am able to glean a few tidbits of helpful information from a book, I call it a success. The Yoga-CBT Workbook for Anxiety absolutely blew me out of the water. There is so much fabulous information and active, usable exercises for both short-term and long-term anxiety relief. The book touches on many different subtle aspects of Anxiety disorders and addresses each in a week-long study. The topics address panic attacks, tendency to worry, and social anxiety among others. The content is well researched and accessible and the yoga instructions and illustrations easy to follow. I look forward to using this book as an ongoing reference as well as completing the 6-week study. Highly recommended to practitioners of yoga and sufferers of anxiety in its many forms.

The Yoga-CBT Workbook for Anxiety by Julie Greiner-Ferris.
I have never tried Yoga before but I do have allot of Anxiety. I have always heard Yoga is a good way to help with stress and anxiety so when I saw this book I knew I had to try it. I did find it easy to follow. I do see some benefits from doing this if for nothing else it slows me down and gives me some me time. So I think this would be a great book for others like me that are looking for ways to help with Anxiety.
This book has about 176 pages, so it is a good size book.

A helpful guide to combat stress and keep calm. Good to read in one go or on and off to dip in and out of.

This is a great book for people who suffer with anxiety. The book talks about anxiety in easy to understand language and gives easy to try exercises, both yoga and meditation, to work through anxiety. The book is a six week program and each week focuses on a different subject that is discussed and each chapter ends with exercises to try. I found a lot of them to be very helpful. Pictures are included for the yoga poses and clear instructions are given throughout the book so all of them are easy to follow. This is a great book to help get some relief from anxiety.

I really enjoyed this book. I think that presenting Yoga to those with anxiety as a way to reduce it is a wonderful idea. The fact that its presented alongside CBT is great. I'd recommend this book to anyone with anxiety.

Firstly I would love to say that a book is very useful. No matter the levels of anxiety, how minor, or how great, this one appears to be very helpful. Several exercises are quite similar to what a counselor at university would suggest to me. Having over ten years experience with yoga, I am very happy to finally marry Hatha yoga, from my own knowledge, with mindfulness and anxiety control, for the book. I would suggest this book to students, as I often see that they would give up halfway or become overwhelmed with the reality of doing the "grown-up" things.

Thank you to Netgalley and the Publishers for this review copy. Looks a great book. I've never done yoga before, but have been known to suffer with anxiety and reading through this book it does have some helpful tips on how to use Yoga to help people suffering with anxiety disorders. The workbook is broken down into weeks and there are useful charts to fill in to help keep a track on your anxiety symptoms over the weeks. The chapters are short enough to not be boring and full of 'waffle', but with just the right amount of useful information. There are clear pictures and instructions for the yoga poses. Hopefully a very useful book!
