In an Oyster Shell – A cozy heartwarming romance that was clean and satisfying. The Pearls – I liked the concept of a Chef needing help getting a date to get her boss off her back. I thought it was unique. There are lots of stories that start off as the relationship being one thing and turning into something else. I felt like the Author had a fresh take on the story line. The setting of the Inn was quaint. There was a lot of characters that were encompassed in this setting. It made the story shine. The Inn was set in a small town that provoked some of the conflicts that made the story interesting. The romance was sweet and unsuspecting. It was a romance that grew over the span of the book. It was nice when it finally came to fruition. I read a lot of romances and I rank this one above most of what I read. It’s nice to have a romantic but clean book to read. The Sand – It was a really good book. I wish there was more like it. |
It's a well-written story. I loved Cole. He is often misjudged, but in fact he is a great guy, an honest person, and just someone trying to outrun his past. Maddie was a little difficult to like for me. I really don't like to read about insecure woman. I prefer my heroines to be strong, independent, and sure of themselves. Although her characters fits the story so as I got to know her better I started to like her. They're both perfect for each other, chemistry between them is amazing. Overall this book is a goodread. |
