Untamed is the first in the three-part Uninhibited series by Lauren Hawkeye. This was a quick and steamy read which focuses on Dr. Cari Dunn, an archaeologist who is the star of the reality show ‘Digging Discoveries with Dr. Dunn’.

Cari is currently being threatened and her producer and the network hires a body guard, Jasper Benjamin, to ensure her safety. The chemistry between Cari and Jasper is sizzling and Cari goes out of her way to get Jasper’s attention.

A great first book in the series and I look forward to the next two!

As the first part in a serial, I hesitate to rush to judgment. Cari Dunn is an archaeologist who has her own reality tv show. Currently, she is in Georgia, digging on a disputed land site: developer vs. Native American. Cari doesn't really care about the dispute, such as it is - only that she can dig. However, when she finds out she's been receiving graffitied messages, she confronts her producer - who then tells her there is far worse than the messages. The network has therefore assigned her a bodyguard. There is an immediate attraction between Cari and Jasper and the only question is which one will break first.

I thought Cari's characterization was uneven. She was presented as a capable professional, aware of her reality celebrity status - even if she didn't love the recognition is always brought. However, once Jasper is in the picture, it quickly becomes difficult to see who Cari is. On the one hand, she goes after what she wants but on the other, I'm not certain why she would act as she does when she is aware that she is considered a celebrity by the locals. It just seemed odd to me that she would act as she did in the bar without a care in the world. 

I should say, I was attracted to this serial because I love books involving archaeologists and the suspense element was also appealing. However, while there is a certain degree of suspense, so far any archaeology elements have occurred off stage. 

The sex scenes are hot and despite my disbelief at the set up, work nicely. The serial itself ends on a cliffhanger of sorts, but fortunately, the next part of the serial is released soon. 

This is a decent and fast read, and if you like Ms. Hawkeye's work then this is certainly well worth a try.

This is a fairly short novella to read. We find ourselves in summertime in Georgia. Who is Dr. Dunn? What does Dr. Dunn find on the door to the hotel room after returning from filming a show that day? Who is Russ Daly? Who is Nolan? What is going on in Georgia? Who is Jasper and what is he in Georgia for? What is his new job detail? What does Dr. Dunn do to push and push and push Jasper and what action does he take in response? What happens to Dr. Dunn's hotel room? Read this short novella and find out. This is the first of three hot novellas. Enjoy it!

Untamed is the first part of a three part serialized novel by Lauren Hawkeye about a famous TV archeologist, Dr Cari Dunn. Cari has a TV show, and they are shooting their show on location. However, Cari has made herself an enemy or two, as evidenced by threats she’s been receiving, so the show hires her a bodyguard, tall, hot and sexy Jasper Benjamin. Cari finds herself attracted to Jasper and the sparks fly.
 
This is a pretty quick and dirty novella. It’s pretty obvious from the start with these two that they are going to have one hot and steamy relationship, especially with what goes down in the bar with them. Just as the action gets going, the bullets start flying, literally. But that’s where it ends in part one, and we don’t quite know what’s going on. A cliffhanger at it’s best. Luckily, part two is coming right up! I Love how Ms. Hawkeye isn’t making us wait forever to find out what’s happening next!

About 70 pages with 90% of them being chemistry and sex. The beginning was a okay intro to the danger following her. Really steamy bar scene and back to the room for more...then bang...something through the window and cliffy. Didn't like that the bodyguard didn't even try to resist her to just do his job.

I just loved this book and the characters Lauren has created in this new series and I really can't wait for the next 2 books in this series. Totally worth you trying this book and author as her books get better and better. Would recommend

This is the first of a three book serial that focuses on Carrie an archaeologist. Her current situation is a  dig in an area ready to be built on. 
She is happy as  lark digging away until the threats start. Next thing she knows she is hauled into the office where she meets Jasper her new bodyguard.
Things start to get exciting in more ways than one. 
I thought the story line was good but I was felt the heat level could have been hotter. I did love the characters and  it is a cliffhanger that is followed in the next book. The fact this is listed in the book description was a great idea.

This author is not new to me so I know I can get a good read when I open one of her books. This one drew me because of the hint of danger with the heat that goes with it. It centers around Cari who is a archaeologist of all things which was interesting to me. She will have her hands full with more than dirt but danger follows her. She does get some cover on that front from Jasper. She wants more it seems to than protection by just looking at him. Heat will rise but then you will have to put yourself on hold for a minute.

Celebrity archaeologist Cari Dunn is so over the Georgia heat, the red tape at her dig site, and the threatening messages left on her motel door. She just wants to dig, and the network just wants to keep her safe—with a bodyguard. She can’t complain. Jasper Benjamin radiates raw masculinity that penetrates her to the core and ignites passion she’s never felt. Too bad for him, she's not going to be easy to handle.

Lusting after the bodyguard shouldn’t be so tempting, especially when her life is on the line.

Review:

First book in a three part serial.  It starts out a full speed and just keeps going.  It is super short and each of the three parts will come out in the subsequent weeks.  It is suspenseful with a whole lot of sexy wrapped up in it.

So in this first part we meet Cari who is a celebrity and she has been threatened unbeknownst to her.  The production company hires Cari a bodyguard, Jasper.  Once they are together the sexy explodes.  As does everything at the end of this first part.

This is a great start to a sexy as hell series!  Trust me when I say this is a hot start.  Dr. Cari Dunn is an archeologist and a reality TV show star, but with fame also comes your typical perverted stalker.  When the stalker starts to leave writings on her hotel door the producer employs Jasper, a bodyguard.  Jasper is not just her bodyguard, he is sexy and she just can’t seem to stop thinking about him.  I can’t tell you anymore just that this is a very steamy must read with mystery, drama and suspense.  Just a heads up, this is a three part story.

This is my first read from this author and damn it was hot. 

Dr. Cari Dunn is an archeologist with her own reality show. Not everyone is a fan, she's been receiving threats which makes the producers hire a bodyguard, Jasper Benjamin and its instant attraction on both parts. 

This story is hot and the chemistry is off the charts. I love how Jasper can get Cari to leave her inhibitions behind her. 

If your looking for a quick hot read then I suggest this book, yes we are left with a Cliffie, but omg I know the wait will be worth it. Can't wait for book 2!!

Great start to a sexy new series.  Dr. Cari Dunn is an archeologist/reality TV star and has been receiving threats.  Jasper is the bodyguard hired to protect her.  Steamy read with plenty of drama and suspense looking forward to find out what happens in part 2.  I really liked it!

untamed kicks of a short story trilogy about cari dunn and her sexy bodyguard, jasper benjamin. cari is besieged by a stalker leaving threatening messages. she's a celebrity archeologist and the host of a popular television show. suddenly the network insists that she can't shoot her show and she needs to hang out with a glorified babysitter.

except this glorified babysitter is super sexy. and also super kinky. because when she decides to push at the boundaries by going out and prowling the dance floor for a hook up she may have bitten off more than she can chew. because the random guy, jackson, is totally into priming her for jasper. and inexplicably she's totally into it too.

and when jasper finally gets her out of the bar and gets her off in public, well maybe he's teaching her about her limits or lack of them too. this book is a short, steamy read. it also ends in a cliffhanger, so if you don't want to wait a week, just know that in three weeks you can binge read the series.

'Untmaed' by Lauren Hawkeye is book One in the "Uninhibited" series.  This is the story of Cari Dunn and Jasper Benjamin.  This is a novella with about 65 pages.... that ends to being another part of their story in the next book.  Cari is a celebrated  archaeologist who has a fan base, so it isn't unusual to have people approach her for pictures or autographs.  But it is something else when someone paints 'Bitch' on her hotel door.  It seems she has a staler who is out for her and a body guard is needed. 
They are both fast attracted to each other but they have to also deal with the person that is after Cari.  
This was a Hot and Exciting Read.
The Uninhibited! 3-Part Serial is best enjoyed in order.

Good start for this short erotic. My only complaint is the format. I'm not a fan of this serialized short broken up story. It feels far too much like I'm being gouged. Give me one linger book and I'm much happier.

Sorry, I tried to get into the story but the whole me man you woman, like to be watched mentality of Jasper put me off completely. Shame as this sounded like a good read,

Untamed is part 1 of the serial and introduces us to Car I. She's a archeologist with a tv show digging in GA. Due to threats she's now going to have Harper brought into her life and things are going to heat up. 

It was a great intro to the serial. It honestly is hot and I can't wait to get more.

I have never claimed to be a good girl and reading this makes my inner bad girl pur in naughty satisfaction. She moaned and begged to be released. She definitely thinks she can handle Jackson and Jasper. It's really hard to tame her because even I agree I would love the chance.

A quick hot temptation of instant connection and a fire that burns bright and hot. Untamed has me groaning not only in lust but in frustration....because it ends just when you think it's beginning.

Hot damn this book is smoking! Lauren shoots this one into orbit right out of the gate. This is the first book in a series of three and yes they will come out close together. Grab your fan and some ice and settle right into this one.

Gabi is on a dig in steamy hot Georgia and it seems someone doesn't want her there so her sponsors have hired a body guard. The body belongs to Jasper and talk about a total alpha... he also wastes no time showing his true colors to Gabi. He's the kind of naughty boy you love to read. Both of them give as good as the get. 

The book is well written and heavy on the steam. It ends with a mini cliffhanger that will pick up there in book two.
This is a must read.
