Awesome start to this serial. Jasper and Cari's chemistry is instantaneous and that bar hallway scene?! Oh. My. God. HOT!!

A short, fast paced, steamy romance story of danger, intense chemistry, passion, steamy scenes, that ends with a cliff hanger. But not to worry because the second book in this series comes out a week after Untamed is released.

I was really excited to start Lauren Hawkeye's Uninhibited serial. Her novels are always spicy hot, filled with great banter, a HOT alpha hero and a sassy heroine. That is exactly what we got here with Untamed! I could not get enough of Jasper and Cari!

I loved the premise of this series. When strong and sassy celebrity Archaeologist Cari Dunn encounters threatening messages left on her motel door, she finds herself saddled with a Bodyguard for protection. But while she is upset about having to listen to someone else's rules, this strong and broody man is sex on a stick personified. Their chemistry is fiery and the STEAM is pantymelting HOT! While I did find their attraction super rushed (it seemed like they met each other for a few minutes just a few hours earlier), it is a serial so ainjist went with it. I can't wait for the next one! 3.5 stars! ~Ratula

This novella does not disappoint! Cari is in danger and the of course "hot" bodyguard is hired to protect her. Use your imagination, he certainly does in the very brief, steamy story. Ends on a cliffy which I imagine it's going to be wrapped up quickly since the entire series is being released rapidly.

Untamed is the sizzling opener to the Uninhibited series. This is part one of a three part serial and it's going to get you all hot and bothered.
Cari is a celebrity archeologist and she's in trouble. She's been receiving threats and to protect her, her producer has hired Jasper as a bodyguard for her.
Sparks fly when Cari and Jasper meet. I loved the dance between Cari and Jasper as she provokes him into giving into his desire for her. And once Jasper snaps and he unleashes his passion on Cari, it will knock your socks off.
I liked Cari. While she's not a confrontational person, she's bold and independent. She wants Jasper and I enjoyed the way she set out to seduced him.
As for Jasper, he's your strong, silent type with hidden depths. We see a little of it in this part of the serial but I'm hoping to see more of it in subsequent parts to the story. I want to learn all of his kinks and what makes him tick. And what better way for him to be Cari's bodyguard than with him being very close to her body. :-)
The story ends with a bang (literally) and one heck of a cliffhanger. I can't wait to get to part two.

What an intense short read. He was hired to protect her from an unknown source. She felt things she couldn't deny. What happens when business and pleasure mix?

I was a little dubious reading this little serial as I've not read anything by the author before and I generally don't read 5 star reviews because of personal choices. 

Going into <i>Untamed </i> I was pleasantly surprised by the way it was written. I had expected it to be a quick serial number with little going on and a quick steamy sex scene but there was plenty happening in this serial. 

Dr Cari Dunn is a celebrity architect with a stalker. A pretty crazy stalker as stalkers are want to be. The network she does a TV show for hires a bodyguard to protect her - queue Jasper. A sinfully hot male with an alpha streak - just how I like my males! 

As it's a pretty short price of writing everything meshes together nicely with a wickedly good sex scene and a great cliffhanger that leaves the series open for the next instalment which is released a week after this one. 

I think the one big thing that put me off a bit was the mention of Christian Grey. Those are two words that will put me off any book but thankfully he was only mentioned once in passing. 

We'll see where the next part takes us in this  ride.
