Crayons ar eusually relegated to toddler and kindergarten when it comes to choosing it as an art medium. The exercises start out ismple - tea cup, chair, shoe and move onto complex things like house.

Anytime Art: Crayon: A colorful guide to drawing with crayon for artists on the go! by Monika Forsberg is easy to follow and practical. This book is cute guide on crayon for artists but it can only be considered a beginner's level guide. This is perfect for someone who wants to learn how to draw. This book will teach you how to draw a few items; such as, cat, house, garden, shoes. The author gives step by step directions, which is necessary for someone just learning how to draw, in plain and simple language that is easy to understand.

I give this book 4.5/5 stars

I received this book from Quarto Publishing Group – Walter Foster and Walter Foster Publishing via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Forsberg offers easy techniques to imbue color and vibrancy to images using crayons. This book made me realize how much I undervalue them as a coloring tool.

I was able to review a digital copy of this book thanks to the publisher and NetGalley. A fun let loose book that brings you back to your childhood when you would take your crayons out and just create and have fun without worrying what others think. The authors drawings are cute and simple. This book is for the person that just wants to play and relax. It is not a technical art instruction book. It helps us let loose again.

I have been a crayon junkie since I was a little girl. But I was and still am a crayon snob. They have to be Crayolas. I love that this book takes crayons past the kids coloring pages. So much fun, and a lot of great ideas!

I was able to review a digital copy of this book thanks to the publisher and NetGalley. The author's drawings are whimsical and cute and I love the use of colour. I think this book is good for those wanting to be more creative and let loose. Not if you are hoping for any sort of realism. I think in terms of being a guide it is a very beginner guide. Actually, I think this book would be ideal for tweens or teens who love art actually, that is who I would buy it for.

My teenage daughter (the artist) is so excited about this book. Making art with crayons isn't something she's done much of since she was tiny. But living in our house with two toddlers this is a perfect medium for her to try out again. This book is packed with so much information and put together in such a fun way. This book is on my list to purchase for my daughters birthday.
