I tried, I really tried to read this book, but I just didn't enjoy the writing style. Sorry.. I found it confusing so I gave up. I hope others got on better with it than me

Received this ARC for an unbiased review. Story did not hold my attention and did not finish.

While the description of this book had me intrigued from the start, the actual read fell short. It was sometimes difficult to distinguish the passing of time in this story or to feel much affinity towards the female leads. I wish the story had been presented in a more linear way and that the side forays into psychology were concise rather than rambling.

I had a hard time getting into this book. I thought the concept was neat, but the writing style was atrocious. Since I did not finish the book, I do not intend to publish a review.

I was compelled to pick up this book about that takes a heavy woman and it turns into a murder mystery. I thought this would be an interactive self help mystery but it was more a story with some tips on weight loss. Interesting concept and it was a quick read.

I am confused about this book. It's not really non-fiction and I thought it had been categorized incorrectly and is fiction. However, there is way too much clinical information for it to be a fiction book. I believe the author has good intentions and should rethink which category to put the book into with revisions (if possible) to take the clinical information out and leave it as a fiction book or vice versa!
Sorry, but I just couldn't continue reading it the way it is, especially because of the length. More personal success story if it is a non-fiction book.
