I have this image of a bunch of lesfic authors sitting around and daring one another to come up with the most preposterous set up for a lesbian romance - Dutton drew the short straw, but she manages to make it work. Once you get over the idea of the MC who has slept with her clients (brides to be) ... which may be too much of a hurdle for some ... this is an enjoyable read. Despite the way they met, Dutton manages to make it work and the dynamic of their first meeting (as Rachel interrupts Faith and Rachel's bff aka The Bride) definitely enhances the push/pull interactions between the two MCs. It's hard to warm up to Faith due to her past actions, and Rachel does like to throw it in her face, but I still ended up rooting for them. |

'Netgalley ARC provided by the Publisher in exchange for a fair and honest review' 4.5 stars! The book offers a brilliant, emotionally charged portrait, deftly conveying the sweep of time over everyday lives and showing how even in difficult times/break-ups,gifts can unfold, above all it is an ode to friendship and to how one person shapes the journeys of those around. Dutton's characters are realistic and well drawn that most readers will have no concern keeping track of them in this story. Resolution to the web of secret around what happen was particularly nicely written and handled okay even though in time when revealed the repercussions played out just as excellent in the storyline and it led to an explicit conflict and confrontation in how we as readers view the protagonist as a character had her flaws but own up to them, which was awesome to read. I found this very compelling and was also very invested in the relationship of Faith & Rachel who had lots of passion and chemistry. I did also adore most of the female characters in this book with one exception but the story still had to be told -- even though the story's ending was predictable, the charming characters and snappy dialogue that Ms.Dutton is known for did make 'PLANNING FOR LOVE' a fun, enjoyable and satisfying read. Recommend to everyone |

It was hard getting into the start of the book because it starts off with Faith fooling around with Rachel's best friend, who is about to get married. I must admit it was difficult to like her character but by the end, I almost forgot what happened at the beginning of the book. Rachel Union's character was much more likeable. Erin Dutton had the hard task of turning an unlikeable character to one we can like and actually root for a happy ending. I have to say that she was able achieve that by the end of the story. I enjoyed the romance and thought that the Rachel and Faith had quite a bit of chemistry. Overall, a good story to read but not my favourite from Erin Dutton. |
I was unable to review this book because of a conflict in my schedule. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused the publisher or the author of the work. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to review for you and I look forward to reviewing for you in the future. |
When I first met Faith, the womanizing main character, I was expecting to hate her. As with any romance novel, and mirroring Rachel's experience, the more time I spent with her, the more I grew to appreciate her. All in all a satisfying reading experience! |

Before I continue with this review I need to ask a question. Is it morally right to sleep with your client? A client who is meant to get married at the end of your contract. See my dilemma? Maybe not... But come on, it's so wrong!!! I'll admit it put me in a downer for the rest of the book. Faith, weird name for someone who targets brides in my opinion, is found in a compromising position by the brides best friend Rachel. The book does eventually get better. But Rachel kind of digs at Faith on her philosophy, I was wanting more digs but hey can't always get what we want. However, Faith gets up set by Rachel's digs. Despite the initial unusual meeting of Faith and Rachel, there seems to be chemistry between the two. There relationship is slow burning and I guess in some ways I can forgive the author. I enjoy Dutton's writing style. I find her easy to read. Even when I don't agree with her characters. I found Faith without morals especially when the others involved were often on their happiest day of their lives. I can't give it more than three stars because of the morality aspect. Sorry, but I'm sure others will give more. Reviews by the Wicked Reads Review Team Shannan – ☆☆☆ Faith McKenna is a wedding coordinator, which is ironic given her take on a happily ever after. She doesn't believe in them, so for her to give the brides one last fling before they say I do is no big deal for her. When Rachel, a bridesmaid, catches her with the bride, she promises to ruin Faith if the bride doesn't make it down the aisle. Rachel promises to keep an eye on Faith but doesn't expect the feelings that grow with the time they spend together. Planning for Love has a slow start but does pick up about midway through. The characters are well written and a believable plot line. |

I've been following this author with interest for years and I had high expectations of this novel. I wasn't disappointed. The two leads, Rachel and Faith, are very likeable and have great chemistry. The supporting characters are equally well developed. They all have flaws and come across as very human. The premise is unique and intriguing. A book well worth reading, even for those who don't like weddings! |
This is my 7th book by Dutton. Most of her books, at least for me, are good but not great reads. Enough to keep me coming back for more, but not enough to make me excitedly wait for her next release. This book wasn’t much different. I thought it was good, but not a book that will stick with me over time. I did really like the character, Rachel. If I were her friend I would have worried about her relationship with Faith. She seemed too sweet to be with Faith. I know several readers having issue with Faith’s serious character flaw of sleeping with soon to be married women, but I seem to be more upset with the soon to be married women looking to hookup. Faith is pretty up front with those women, and they choose to cheat. Again, this one wasn’t my favorite but a decent read. If you are a fan of Dutton and typically really enjoy her books, I am sure this would be a great book for you. |

An honest review thanks to NetGalley. This book was great; I love Dutton so obviously her writing style and way of bringing the characters to life really hits home with me. I did have a hard time getting into the book at the beginning, the first scene made it hard for me to start to like Faith and throughout the book, she gives us reasons not to like her. Despite this all I couldn't put it down, this is well written and a great romance. |

Overall, enjoyed this book. I liked the main characters and how they unraveled throughout the book. They had good chemistry and the background was believable. I could see this happening in real life, which made the book a good read for me. I've read several of Erin Dutton's books and this one does not disappoint! highly recommend the read if you're looking for a light romance and with good laughs in between! |
What actually makes me very fond of this book is that it's about trust. How can you trust someone with a history of sleeping around, and with brides nonetheless?!? Is it safe to go with your heart and try a relationship with someone like that? Is it ok to break your own rules and just go for it? What happens when you have your hopes getting higher because it feels so good? Can Faith change for Rachel, or will they eventually go separate ways and back to their previous pattern of love life? I highly recommend this book for a good, afternoon read. |
Can people change? This romance has two main characters, Faith McKenna, a wedding planner, and Rachel Union, the best friend of the bride, Violet. Faith has a reputation of being a womanizer. It is not unusual for her to have a fling with a woman in a wedding she is planning. The story begins with Faith having a quickie with Violet, the future bride. Rachel walks in on them. Violet promises that she will not repeat this little sexual misstep with Faith. Rachel decides to keep an eye on them by joining them whenever they meet to do wedding planning. Although it was not a page turner, I enjoyed this story. It is a light romance that makes the reader wish for a future for the couple. Ms. Dutton did a nice job of developing the characters. Many readers can relate to Rachel’s character. She is a woman who wants a committed relationship with someone. Faith is not that someone or so we are led to believe. The plot is solid and smoothly written. I recommend this book for anyone who wants to have an enjoyable weekend reading. I rate this book 4-1/2 out of 5 stars. I was given this ARC in return for a fair and honest review. |

Erin Dutton has given us another great read. Faith the wedding coordinator for Rachel's best friend first meet when Rachel walks in on Faith and the bride to be getting way to familiar with each other. As the Maid of Honor Rachel feels it her job to keep things on the up and up by making sure the bride and Faith never get another chance to be together, you know, sexually. Within a few pages you can't help but fall in serious like with both Faith and Rachel. You know already they get together in the end but it's the story of how they get there that makes this a great read. If you're a fan of Erin Dutton's writing you won't be disappointed and if this is your first time reading one of Erin' s books, welcome to the club. |

I'm a big fan of the author and was so excited about 20% into this book that she's continuing to producer great books. I thought the whole concept of the two leads meeting was original. I think that her use of Faith, the more "feminine" one of the two, as being the more dominant and chaser was unique. There was the nice slow build up of the two getting to really know each other and finding chemistry that was too hard to ignore. Literally everything I enjoy in a book of this genre was there. And nice cameo by Casey from "Capturing Forever"! I completely recommend this book to others. |

Even though this one takes off with wedding planner getting caught by best friend of the bride getting busy with the bride I was like wow what a way to begin. Rachel ends up chaperoning the wedding planner and the bride to be but as time goes by ends up having feelings for the wedding planner. Overall I enjoyed this one. NetGalley for honest review. |
I almost couldn't read this book fast enough, it was SO good. The chemistry between the two main characters was sizzling and I fell in love with both of them despite their flaws. There was a fair measure of angst, which for me makes a romance and you feel for both the characters for the situation they are in. I highly recommend this book from one of my favourite authors |
So to start this off, I love all of Erin Dutton's books, however this was not my favorite. I think my issue was that I couldn't get past the moral character of one of the main characters. I know not everyone in books I read are perfect, but it just wasn't something I could get past so I didn't connect with the characters like I usually do in books. This will of course not stop me from reading Erin's book, but I just think this was one that didn't appeal to me. It's the story of a wedding planner and the maid of honor. The story starts off with the conflict and it takes a long time for one of the characters to even get over the conflict. It just never hit me. While this was not my cup of tea, I suggest anyone read Erin's book, they are awesome. |
This book was very good. It started out with two people being caught and a best friend furious. But what no one knew was she was more furious because she wanted to be the one with the wedding coordinator. Over the next several months good and bad times came and went but both being bullheaded the only thing that could being them back together was being miserable. |
