4* read. I do love this authors writing style. She writes hot alpha males who steal your heart and strong woman who you easily connect to. I would say this book was slightly different to this authors normal but still great. The cover is what attracted me to this book before I even saw who the author was. Its eye-catching and beautiful, it just makes you want to pick up the book. So this is Fawn and Levi' story who first run into each other when Fawn literally runs into Levi when shes out running. Then she realises hes her new next door neighbour. Erm I wish I had a next door neighbour like him. What I also really loved about this book was the other characters to. The two families were so funny and I can't wait to get the stories of Fawns two sisters and Levi's single brother, I already have my mind set on who Libby will end up with. A great read, I'm looking forward to more in this series. Although this is a lighhearted read due to the nature of Levi's job there is some added angst and drama. |

Aurora Rose has done it again! This book was just the sweetest piece of literature. Levi and Fawn are the characters you want to read about because the story is so beautifully told. From their first meeting, where Fawn has her eyes closed, to them slowly falling in love it engages your interest. The plotline with Tamara was wonderfully put together. And the hijinks that follow this couple truly made me chuckle and chortle out loud with the various family and friends that appear throughout the book. |

So I was lucky enough to land a copy of Aurora Rose Reynolds book Running Into Love that will be releasing September 26th. I just finished reading it last night and I am reminded by how much I love anything ARR puts down on paper and blesses us with!! Fawn is just your average chick - awkward, nerdy and an all around hot mess. Levi is the hot, bossy, dominating man you have come to know and love from ARR! You will fall in love with their quirks, their families and generally everything about this book!! Be sure you grab this up on September 26th!!! |
I love the author and excited to see a new series but thought this needed something more. I didn't hate the book but I didn't love it either. Fawn and Levi had an easy relationship without any conflict or drama. She literally runs into him and from that moment they are a couple. Along with their kooky over the top family. The author did a good job creating a nerdy girl whose sweet and thoughtful. While Fawn had some good traits I thought she came across as immature for her age. She came across a bit dopey at times. I liked Levi. He was a stand up guy who is trying to make his corner of the world a better place. I liked his protective nature when it came to Fawn. There were certain storylines that were over looked. I would have liked a little more of an in-depth look at a few. Specifically, why he broke up with his ex-fiance, why his Sister-in-law was rude and what really happened to her students mother |

We all hope that one day we will run into the love of our lives. And in this case, it happens literally. Fawn is perfectly happy in her life as a 5th grade teacher. She doesn’t need a man to make her happy and she loves being by herself with her dog Muffin. Until she literally runs into her new neighbor, Levi, and he challenges everything that she thought was making her happy. Levi loves his job and his life in NYC and doesn’t want to complicate things with a relationship…again. But Fawn throws his inhibitions out the window and the alpha/caveman comes out as he not only tries to woo her prove that love is always worth the chance. His relationship with Fawn is funny especially because she is not that modelesque type of woman that is perfect on all accounts. She is clumsy, has no filter, and makes mistakes. That Thanksgiving scene we have all done at least once. I find it funny to see them interact and love how they are able to get to their HEA. Like her Until series, it’s a quick pace romance that focuses a lot on the romance and not so much on the outside story. She does introduce a lot of secondary characters that I am sure will play future roles in other books of the series and some of them I am very excited to read. Especially the one with Fawn’s sister. It’s a fun story that can probably be read in a sitting or two. I love these kinds of stories because they are perfect to read on a day off and doesn’t take a whole lot out of you emotionally. |
I really loved this book! It's sweet, fun and sexy! It has the classic Aurora feels! Levi is the sexy alpha male detective and Fawn is the sweet and a little naive teacher. I loved them together! They were perfect for each other! I loved all the family members and Muffin was the cutest dog! I cannot wait for more on this series! This is a must read! |
This book is a confusing one for me to review because for every thing I didn't like, there was something that I did. Overall it was a good story and maybe most of my issues came from me being too critical of it but there were little things that bugged me throughout my reading. I actually had to start the beginning of this book over more than once because I was so confused by the first few pages. It opened with Fawn running in the park with her eyes close. Why? Well, I don't know because that was never really explained. Finally moving on and reading more of the story I came across more scenes or information that wasn't explained enough for me to feel connected to the story since it just left me confused. There were multiple aspects of the story that I felt didn't fit at all. Almost like random information being shoved at me even though it didn't help the story out at all. There was a "mystery" thrown in that I found completely pointless because not only was it very predictable, it wasn't explained enough or featured enough for me to even understand why I was supposed to care about it. It did nothing to help these characters connect so I just didn't get it. On top of that I just didn't like Fawn. In the beginning I was thinking she was a quirky and fun character but then as I read on she was nothing more than annoying. What was supposed to be funny, I guess, came off more as stupid. Like I said, there were parts of the book that I enjoyed and the book as a whole I count as a winner. The issues I had with it did lessen how much I liked it but they didn't make me hate it. |
This is my first time reading Auro Rose Reynolds, and I really like it and will definitely be reading more of her soon. I love possessive alpha-males, and Levi definitely fits the bill. He and Fawn are new neighbors and feel and intense attraction. Fawn hasn’t had the best luck in love, and she tries to ignore the sexual tension that simmers between them. But Levi is sure that this is something special brewing between them, and he patiently woos the skittish Fawn. There’s plenty of heat and heart in Running to Love punctuated with endearing second characters, who are Fawn and Levi’s family, and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this romance. |
This is my first novel by this author and I believe it might be my last. I did not get a chance to finish this novel. Based on the description, I was intrigued to say the least. But upon reading the novel (which I never finished) I didn't feel like the characters were mature enough and that the writing style was kind of all over the place and not very organized or well-written. I don't think I will be recommending this novel or author. |
This is my first book by Aurora Rose Reynolds. What I liked: The writing style Dual POVs Standalone HEA What I didn't like: "Baby" "Babe" I had a hard time staying interested in the story. I will try something else from this author. |
I luv to run into Levi. I luv how this books starts with Fawn and Levi literally running into each other will Fawn running into him any way. The story is good I enjoyed it. I liked Fawn she is a great character. I like that she is different ye she's still very beautiful but I like that shes nerdy clumsy and caring. She is also a lil unsure of herself sometimes when she has no need at al she is a great person it's hard to luv her. This is why Levi found it hard to keep away. Levi is a new detective for the NYPD and he loves his job. Moving into a new city can be hard. But for Levi thinks didn't work out bad he ended up moving into a new apartment. Where the crazy girl (Fawn) from the park lives. He things weren't great at the begin but with the help from Muffin thing got a lil better. Well for Levi it did he got to to know her better. Fawn just died of embarrassment haha. These two made a great couple they were just great from the start. I did think that them getting together was a lil to easy. It had something missing I can't really out my finger on it they were just to perfect. I wanted a lil more drama of something happen it was sorted straight away I want a bit more fight. They were super hot together and the sexual tension between them was crazy at the beginning. I just would of liked more drama. Overall I did enjoy it it was a good read. The story flowed well and I enjoyed the characters i liked lot of the other characters. So I would like to read more about them Mac and Libby are great there Fawn sisters. Lucas Levi's brother is interesting as well so I would luv more from these guys. I would recommend this book if they wanted a cute romance story great characters and with not a lil bit of drama. |
4 Muffin Loving Stars “Who would have thought running with your eyes closed would lead to love?” When Fawn meets Levi, neither one are looking for a relationship. Hell, after the admittedly meet-cute way they came to be introduced, via Fawn’s over enthusiastic dog, she’d probably prefer to stay as far away from Levi as humanly possible. Too bad that hot, sweet police detective just moved in right across the hall from her. I have to be honest and say Running into Love was not at all what I expected when I started reading. And that’s not a bad thing. I’ve read quite a few ARR books and while I’ve enjoyed all of them to varying degrees, this one was a welcome departure from her norm. I’m used to the in love at first sight, growly, monosyllabic men taking a “my way or the highway” approach to most everything in their lives, including their women. In turn, the women put up their fair share of pouting and bitching but they always seem to come around. Levi and Fawn’s story felt a little like Aurora Rose Reynolds Lite and you know what? I loved it. Levi’s plenty alpha, don’t get me wrong but sometimes it’s nice to just read about a couple who fits a more normal level of, well, normal. Fawn’s sweet and goofy with a touch of neurotic (the fun kind) thrown in for good measure, just like the rest of us. I enjoyed the fact that these characters are fully grown adults who’ve learned to deal with their baggage and the only real “scars” they’re dealing with stem from their boisterous but loving families being too involved in their lives. Sometimes that’s all you need. After a couple of serious reads, Running into Love was just what I needed. This low key but sweet story had me hooked from the beginning. This book is the first of a new series and I’m hoping Fawn’s sisters as well as Levi’s brother get their stories told. It would even be nice of said brother could share a story with one of the aforementioned sisters, but that’s just me. ARC provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review |
Book Review - Running into Love – (4 Stars) Every once in a while you read a synopsis and you’re not really sure what to expect from the story, but you give it a shot anyway. Sometimes you are disappointed and other times you’re pleasantly surprised and that were the case with Running into Love. Fawn Reed, has pretty much given up on love. Too many douches, jerks and a-holes; nope she doesn’t need love. She’s pretty darned satisfied with her one-hundred and fifteen pound “pup” Muffin. Until Hottie-Mc-Hottie, Detective Fremont, enters hers life and her world and dreams will never be the same. Levi Fremont is laser focused on his career, much to the dismay of his mother who has all of her boys married except him. There’s no room for love in his life right now. Love and relationship equal full time job and he’s got one of those already that he absolutely loves. Running into (literally) Fawn Reed has knocked Levi on his ass, literally and figuratively, and suddenly a relationship doesn’t seem so out of the question. As soon as he can convince Fawn of this his world might just be complete. This was a quick funny and witty read. Things moved a little too fast for me but it was still enjoyable. I’m not one who’s big on terms of endearment so the constant use of “babe” and “baby” drove me a bit batty but the laughs made up for it. I loved that both Fawn’s and Levi’s families were loud and a bit nutty. When the supporting cast makes you want to know more about them but yet don’t overpower the main characters, that a big win in my book. I feel like this story may have been a spin-off from another series which might have involved Levi’s brothers but I’m not one hundred percent sure. I’m hoping the next book in this series (Fluke My Life) is Mac (Fawn’s sister) and Wesley’s) Levi’s partner) story. That seems like it will be fun read. OOOHHHH, or Levi’s brother Lucas who is getting divorced! |
Loved this story, it is less erotic as some of auroras other work, but just as intense. Huge feels and definately intoxicating. |
I am a big fan of this author. I really loved her "Until" series and the "Underground Kings" !! So of course I had to give this new book a go ;) Even though I did enjoy reading this one...it wasn't my favorite of her. I found the openingscene of this book pretty confusing. The heroine was running around with her arms wide and her eyes closed and ran into the hero. When he asks her if she is alright afterwards she acts all flighty, and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why, and what was going on. Thankfully it did get better and things became more clear. So, Fawn is a 27 year old school teacher. She and her two sisters are quite gorgeous and all single. Fawn is pretty much done with the whole dating scene, after some disasters. She is also very clumsy and accident prone... well at least when the hero is around. Like I said, she runs into the hero during the opening scene, and he turns out to be her new neighbour. Levi, is completely smitten with Fawn from the moment he first lays eyes on her. He's a handsome homicide detective, who knows exectly what he wants, when he sees it...and what he wants now is Fawn. He makes work of pursuing her, but it takes Fawn some time, to see what is right in front of her. When she finally wakes up, these two were pretty sweet and hot together. The steamy scenes were extremely hot, but there were also some cliche parts, that made me roll my eyes. Like the fact that he has such a huge cock, that her fingers don't thouch, when she wraps them around him. Or the fact that he is so big that he touches some place deep inside her, that she never knew excisted. Oh... and he can also make her come 3/4 times in a row. Now I am not saying this a bad thing.... I just think I have read these same things, too many times already. That said, the book was still very entertaining to me. Their families especially cracked me up and I will definitely be reading the books about the other sisters ;) There was also a bit of suspence, having to do with Levi and Fawn's work. So this may not have been my favorite read by this author. It was enjoyable non the less. |
Running into Love is another hit for Aurora Rose Reynolds. This was a sweet, sexy and fun book. It has a fantastic heroine and of course a gorgeous alpha male. I was super excited when I received this ARC because yes I love me some Aurora! Every time I read her books I am always left with a feeling good feeling and smile on my face. Fawn is a teacher who lives in the big city...NYC. She’s sweet, caring and isn’t looking for love. She has had some not so good experiences lately with men, so she is done with them for now. But if her two sisters have anything to say about it, they will find her a one night stand to get her rocks off. That isn’t Fawn. She much rather be home and reading then going out and partying. But soon something or someone is going to knock her off her feet Levi is a new detective with the NYC police department. He just moved to NY and is settling into his job and new apartment. He’s gorgeous, straightforward and goes after what he wants. He’s not looking for a relationship, but he’s also not opposed to one. Levi is funny, sweet and a guy you can take home to mom and get dirty in the sheets with. When these two literally crash into one another, I laughed out loud. Then we get the twist of Levi being Fawn’s new neighbor and it was a slam dunk in by head. They have to get a HEA together, this is just a recipe for a love story that was meant to be. I loved both of these two together. They were adorbs! The chemistry is hot and the banter is sexy. I loved how Fawn was so oblivious to Levi’s signals. Seriously girl...she just cracked me up with not catching on to Levi’s signals. Like I said these two were adorbs! The secondary characters, their families. I hope we get books with them because oh my gosh! Her sisters...Hilarious! Levi’s brother I want him with one of her sisters, like now! Their moms are so funny! More Please!! There is a bit of suspense in the book, but its a side story that add a little bit more to the enjoyment of the book. I felt that this was a lighthearted sweet love story. It was fun and entertaining. Of course the steam is fantastic and will get you a little hot and bothered. As always Aurora knows how to write her alpha males and sweet females that you can’t help but fall in love with the characters. Aurora is an automatic buy for me and she has never disappointed me. If you want a sweet, sexy and fun read, I highly recommend this! |
This was a sweet story filled with lots of laugh out loud moments. The heroine Fawn, literally runs into her love interest, Levi, knocking them both over. From the very first chapter I was chuckling at the pair and it only got better as the story went on. Levi is smitten from the beginning but Fawn is a little more reserved, I’d actually go as far as to say slightly oblivious to how he feels about her. Their families were absolutely hilarious and totally embarrassing which made for complete entertainment. I did kind of see what was going to happen at the end by about 20% into the book, but that didn’t lessen my enjoyment. This book was equal parts sweet, sexy and hilarious. I’m glad we get to read more about Fawns sisters and hopefully about Levi’s brother Lucas. I’m also hoping there will be a book about Tamara, it would be nice to read about her all grown up. “You stole my heart and my breath the day you ran into me,” *copy received via netgalley* |
Absolutely love all of ARR books! This is one is no different. It was a perfect adorable romance with a hot alpha male and very little angst! I loved that Fawn was a little different, clumsy and a little crazy. If you love a sweet insta-love with an alpha hottie this is your book! |
I was in the mood today for something low angst and this one fit the bill to a "T". I will say I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't hotter (no sex until 60%). But as always I enjoyed this author's writing. The pace was good, and I was never bored. There was no OW/OM drama, and the (few) sex scenes were hot. The mystery aspect was OK but honestly took a backseat for most of the book. I adored all the side characters and hope we are going to get books featuring Fawn's sisters and Lucas. Both main characters were fairly likable. I LOVED Levi. There is no doubt ARR knows how to write a good alpha hero. Fawn I liked a bit less. She came across a bit..I don't want to say like an idiot...maybe a little too naive for a 27-year-old woman. Her inability to see what was so incredibly obvious was annoying to me at times. But she didn't annoy me enough that it affected my rating or enjoyment. Lastly, it was all wrapped up in a few sweet epilogues. |
Just like always Mrs. Reynolds has given us an amazing beautiful story. A story of love in the last place you would ever expect it to be. If you haven't read anything by this author then I suggest you start with Until November, and start down the never ending love fest. Fawn and Levi's story was such a beautiful, swoony goodness story. It's was such a amazing light hearted story that I already want to read it again. I can't wait to see who's story is next. 💖 |
