5 DIZZYING STARS! Let it be known that Aurora Rose Reynolds will forever be the Queen of Alpha Males!! Running into Love was a sweet romance with lots of laughs and tender moments. Its got a light touch of angst and a hint of mystery and thrill. What a fitting title for a book... Especially since Fawn Reed literally ran into love, eyes closed and arms out! Fawn was my soul sista. From her graphic tees to her love of books. She's quirky and prone to fall on her face. She's got a heart of gold and a feisty side as well. With her lovable Muffin (a 70 pound mutt) by her side, she could conquer the world. Then we have the dreamy Levi. He's a NYPD detective and he's just moved across the hall from Fawn. Levi immediately sees the beauty within her and can't help but stake his claim. Of course, Fawn is oblivious. Maybe because she's jaded and stubborn, or because she tries to run and hide behind failed relationships. Thankfully, Levi is patient and doesn't put up with her shit for too long lol. He tells her how it is #blesshim and shows her how beautiful falling for someone could be #sigh. Together, these two are cute and supportive. Plus, they both come from big and loud families, so there's a whole lot of crazy and shenanigans going on that are guaranteed to have you laughing! Running into Love was everything my soul needed. It was like a cup of creamy, hot chocolate on a cold winter day, warming me up on the inside. If you need that light, fun and sexy read, this book is right up your alley. Afterall, Reynolds knows how to bring the #BOOM. |
Some people say, "You're my person," well let me tell you Running into Love is my person. I mean book! My book. Now that we have that disclaimer out of the way we can get down to business. Running into Love is more than a feel good romance. It's a give me the giggles, fill me with giddiness romance. A slow-burning sweet romance, but we still get that insta-BOOM feel Aurora Rose Reynolds is known for creating. Fawn is just one quirky character, one that the Queen Mama Rose executed in a rather comical way to keep you smiling and laughing at every turn. Levi is just, he's persistent yet so dang on patient, but most of all he sees Fawn. Like really sees her, not just her though. He sees her crazy family and that sweet Muffin too. The scene stealing Muffin. She's a lazy, stubborn, yet loveable human trapped in a seventy pound female dog. An animal that had more antics and shenanigans than a little bit. One you'll absolutely adore as her character grows too, no doubt crowning her Best Pet in a Book Ever! Running into Love gave me a love I easily fell into. Filled with unforgettable priceless moments, little surprises scattered about, a smidge of suspense, low angst and high humour... Aurora Rose Reynolds has taken this genre and put her #BOOM stamp on it! |
Fawn Reed and Levi Fremont in Running into Love by Aurora Rose Reynolds. I was not all that impressed when literally the first scene is the title of the book, and the Babe word came out not long after. Aurora is known for her instalove romance books and sometimes they work, this one just grated me a little. I truly feel as though they are getting to be all the same just a few slight changes. I will not knock her writing ability as the book flows really well, its reasonably paced and the small suspense elements are nice. The change is however in the lack of sex in this book, and I am saying that I kind of like it. It lets you focus more on the couple and not on what they do in the bedroom. I also loved that Levi wasn’t over the top and annoyingly pushy, so Fawn didn’t have to give in to him early on. The couple themselves seem to work, Aurora can pull that off no questions asked. Overall, I liked the book, it’s kind of cute, a little sexy but really predictable. On saying that if you want a nice easy read with a little sexy time this might be perfect for you. 4.5 Sigh-Worthy stars! OMG! Aurora Rose Reynolds sprinkled her fairly dust once again and penned a smoking hot, heartfelt, humorous and utterly addictive romance with ALL THE FEELS! I just could not stop grinning like a giddy schoolgirl from the first page till the last. Speaking of starting thing off with a bang, Levi and Fawn had the one of the most adorable “meet cute” moments—like EVER! I just adored Fawn in all her bumbling, endearing awkwardness. She was such a unique, relatable heroine struggling with the kinds of insecurities and hang-ups we all face! And sigh… ARR always pens the DREAMIEST Alpha males who are equal parts sweet and dominant and they always manage to melt my heart. Levi, her hunky new neighbor, had infinite patience and was so charming and chivalrous and protective and sexy, and I could go on and on swooning over this the big, handsome lawman. And gah!! Every time he called Fawn "baby" I got tingly butterflies in the pit of my belly. There were oodles of sparks between this darling duo and delicious push pull throughout and of course plenty of panty melting hot sexy times too! One of my favorite aspects of Ms. Reynolds’ writing is her depiction of loving families sans the silly OTT drama you usually see in romances. Sure Fawn’s sisters, Mac and Lois, drove her batty sometimes, as sisters tend to do, but through it all they were always there to love and support each other. And omgeee I just got the biggest mom and dad crush over her parents- “Mamacita” and “Daddio”! They were not only awesome, devoted parents but still crazy in love after all these years. And hee hee they might have been a "tad" overzealous in pushing Fawn into going full throttle ahead in her relationship with Levi. The scenes where they unintentionally embarrassed Fawn in front of her new boyfriend were hysterical, and I love how Fawn was holding out hope for a real bona fide love like they had. Levi had some mighty big shoes to fill on that front but I am happy to report that our hot, sexy man in blue stepped up BIG TIME for his girl!! And last but not least, I MUST give a shoutout to Muffin! Like seriously the funniest, cutest, most stubborn dog ever and she provided endless comic relief throughout! Bottom Line: RUNNING INTO LOVE stole my heart and left me swooning in delight! |

I loved Levi. He was everything you want in a Alpha Hero smart, take charge, knows what he wants and goes after it. Fawn was so sweet but a total klutz and I just loved her and her family was a hoot. I fell in love with muffin and the story behind her too. This story had it all and read it you will not be disappointed. |

3.5 Stars I can always count on Ms. Reynolds for a light and sexy bit of insta-love fun. Running into Love starts strong with the hilarious way in which Fawn and Levi meet. Fate has them becoming neighbors soon after, giving Levi every chance to sweep Fawn off her feet. Levi was the typical ARR hero: bossy, alpha and super-hot. Once he realizes what Fawn is to him he goes all out in pursuit. He could be sweet and romantic, and the fact that he was a cop made him pretty much perfect to me. Fawn was a totally different story. She’s a dedicated teacher who loved her kids and she could be funny, sweet and caring. While I liked her at the beginning with her clumsy yet adorable behavior coming across as a bit oblivious, her cluelessness increases exponentially until it was just unbelievable and I don’t mean this in a good way, I was at a point where I thought she was either really stupid or she played dumb 99% of the time. I usually don’t mind my heroines being unaware of their own allure or not reading into interactions with the opposite sex. And while I can grant Fawn the fact that the dating scene today could be a tad confusing for someone not really into it, well… I just felt her Alicia Silverstone impersonation of totally clueless was way overplayed. As it is, I still enjoyed most of the story, Levi’s almost perfection made up for a lot of my annoyance with Fawn and once they get together things mostly work out seamlessly. The family scenes are completely hilarious in their absurdity and I am really curious as to who the next couple in the series will be. I loved some parts of Running into Love: the banter, their chemistry and both their families made for a great group of characters I want to know more of. Fawn and Levi’s chemistry was really good and their sexy times were totally steamy. Was this my favorite book by Ms. Reynolds? Not really. Fawn kind of tanked for me personally, taking some of the enjoyment out of the story, but this is a strong beginning for a new series I can’t wait to know more of. |

Aurora Rose Reynolds is known for her romance books that give you the BOOM! and this book give you the boom, but in lower case letters. Now let me clarify that is not a bad thing, this book feels different to her other stories, its funnier and still as romantic, but the romance simmers along before it boils over in the really good way. We have all read books where either the female or male has given up on love, but it was good to read about both our main characters experiencing this. So when the passion ignites and the characters feel it, it felt more powerful. I will always love Aurora's books with the BOOM! factor, but i loved this one just as much reviewed on goodreads under the name kimothy http://books-and-thebigscreen.co.uk/books/running-into-lov…ra-rose-reynolds/ https://www.facebook.com/booksandthebigscreen |
I finished this story early this morning and, im all smiles while i write this review, that's how this book makes me feel. This author knows how to make you feel that connection between the heros. This book was fun, romantic, sweet, and so real. I love that i was there to see fawn and levi fall in love.I can't wait to see more of the secondary characters of this book. Another great story. Netgally provide me with an advance copy of this book, in exchange of an honest review. |
Running into Love is a first book in the Aurora Rose Reynolds's new series. I was excited to read it, but now I am really perplexed about this one. It was okay, but I didn't like it as much as Aurora's previous works. I don't know... there was just something missing. Several parts of the plot were not explained, and others were just a bit over the top. It's a classic insta love story. Maybe you will like it, from me it will be only 3 stars this time. |
This book was a breath of fresh air. It wasn't perfect as it was a little dragged out at times but I enjoyed it all the same. It's an easy quick read with a lot of swoon worthy moments between Fawn and Levi. It's got loads of laugh out loud moments and has an angst element to it as well. Fawn and Levi are just adorable together but it takes Fawn a while to realise what she wants. Levi is protective and a little alpha when it comes to other men trying to get in his way. I kinda wanted to bang their heads together in the beginning but the witty banter from them stopped me as it kept the story moving. I also didn't think the extended epilogues were needed after the first epilogue as it didn't really need anything more. There is an abundance of other characters in the book so I have no idea who's story we will get next, I am hoping for either Wesley (Levi's partner) or Lucas (Levi's brother) getting their HEA. |

I liked this book right from the beginning but as I read it kept growing on me more and more and by the end I loved it! This is a new series by ARR and so I wasn't sure what to expect - I kept waiting for the drama and angst but it never came (which I loved). This book was just a sweet, romantic, honest to goodness love story with the witty dialogue that I expect from ARR and a gentle alpha hero - which I also loved! It was so well done. Really I felt that Levi made this story - he was like the tide, just a constant presence for Fawn and was persistently determined but softly without being a OTT alpha. However Fawn was a totally lovable character as well and I could totally relate to her. Cannot wait for more in this series! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. |
4.5 Stars! There are so many good things about Running into Love by new to me author Aurora Rose Reynolds. To begin with, the cover is romantic and pretty, and the lavender shading truly adds a wow factor. Secondly, there are some very funny moments and they began with the very first chapter. Lastly, who knew that running through a park with your eyes closed would be an excellent way to meet new people. Fawn Reed loves teaching fifth grade. She truly enjoys her students and goes out of her way to ensure their well-being. Her natural beauty, honesty, and originality, are what make her unique. She gets butterflies in her stomach every time she runs into her new neighbor, homicide detective Levi Fremont. Levi and Fawn are attracted to each other almost instantly, and in a very short period of time, they become more than just neighbors. Fawn's dog Muffin and both of their immediate families, create a cleverly executed havoc that neither of them are prepared for. I truly liked this book, and the developing love connection between Fawn and Levi was quite charming, as well as hot. I immediately connected with both of them as individuals and as a couple. However, I found Levi's intimidating nature to be uncomfortable at times. The secondary characters were unique in their own right, which added a lot of background story to the present happenings. This is the first book in the author's brand new series, Fluke My Live, and it can be completely enjoyed as a standalone. Complimentary copy provided by the publisher via NetGalley. |

I have been a huge fan of this author for quite some time and this one was just amazing! She writes amazing alphas that are just alpha enough that you don't want to smack them and Levi is just that. Fawn is a fun character and she keeps Levi on his toes! I love the wit and banter in this story. I found it very hard to put this book down. If you are a fan of Reynolds, you will love this one! |
I might be in the minority here but I didn't enjoy this one as much as I thought I would. I liked most of it, but there was some stuff I just couldn't ignore. For one, I felt like Fawn acted and thought too much like an insecure tween then a mature professional 27 year old. We're told she's a school teacher but the way the author describes her - thoughts, actions, mannerisms - didn't not connect. I felt like I was reading a YA books rather than a romance between two adults. Then there's the pace of the story always feeling disjointed. For example, the opening scene was all over the place. It took a while for me to realize that crazy Fawn was intentionally jogging with her eyes closed in a crowded park and that she was genuinely clueless as to way she found herself on the ground, tangled up with a stranger. There was insta lust but also a bunch of other feelings that felt off putting and forced, on both sides. Levii and Fawn's inner dialogue jumped from one extreme to the next with no transition. That whole scene was more awkward than silly or endearing, which is what I think the author was going for. Lastly, the crazy over indulgence of the word baby/babe that Levi used on Fawn. It seriously felt so overused and it got cringe worthy at times because Fawn was so flippin clueless. For someone not sure where she stands with a guy (friend zoned or actual interest) Fawn was surprising okay with all the babes and babys Levi threw her way. I was seriously shaking my head every other paragraph because of this. I will say that Levi was a good MC, he was kind, caring, affectionate and seemed to love Fawn in all her clueless and air headed glory, so I guess... I can't honestly pin point why he would love her but it made two people happy and they got their happily ever after - in a round about, trippy/loopy way - so, yeah, the romantic is me was happy he was happy. |
Running Into Love is exactly what I needed: funny, sweet and sexy. There’s no unnecessary drama or angst, and I truly enjoyed every moment of This story. |
One thing I can guarantee when going in to a Aurora Rose Reynolds book is that I'm going to come away happy at the end. This was definitely the case with Running in to Love. This was a quick easy, laugh out loud book that I had finished in a day, which for me at the moment is great! Fawn Reed and Levi Fremont made such a great start to a brand new series (Fluke My Life) by this author, one I'm looking forward to reading more of. From running with her eyes shut to pimps and hoes this had me giggling so much and turning the pages to find out what she was going to do next. This is completely different from the Until series but one thing it has in common is large crazy loveable family's!! I cant wait for the next instalment to this series now. |

This was a refreshing new adult romance. Levi and Fawn had great chemistry from their first meeting. I loved the comical parts to the story. I will definitely be reconmending this book to fellow readers. Excited for the sequel, and to follow the journey of the other two sisters. |
