Once again I started reading a series not on the first book. I enjoyed the heat & sizzle this book was full of, as well as the angst that dripped off every page. What happens when you meet before the set up date & hit it off as unknowns? Arden & Nick were definitely setting the pages on fire with their chemistry. The daring was unique but the outcome predictable, they were definitely meant to be together. You have to sympathize with Arden in a way, with her parents using her as a go between, her father’s constant questioning everything she did & not being able to orgasm.....she’s kind of stressed. Nick is also under stresses, his job as a doctor, his family wanting him to settle down & his questions still about the death of his girlfriend keep him wound tight. When they embark on their journey for her orgasms neither thought that the journey would change their lives. I had one constant thought through this entire book & that was damn, Arden is a human pretzel. Recommend to read.

Seeing a man across the bar, Arden notices things about him, his strong back, shoulders, and those big hands. And she wants him to do things to her with his big hands, just for the night to take her mind off her stressful life.
Arden St. Sebastian is the hotel heiress and is in Maui trying to show her father that she can do her job with the new hotel that the family company has bought. But just the thought of her father calling stresses her out. So why not have a little fun and stress relief?
Nick Bancroft likes to have fun, he is the local ER doctor so fun is something he takes seriously. When he takes Arden up on her offer of just one night, he can't let a faked "O" slide by. So he makes her a deal she can't refuse. Six days with him showing her the island and giving her mind-blowing "O's". What else could a girl want, except to not lose her heart? All the while they don't even know each other's real names.
Can Arden last the six days without losing her heart? Will Nick lose his heart and Arden at the same time? Will the truth destroy any chance of a future together?
I really enjoyed this story and loved the banter and sexual tension between Arden and Nick. This is a first for me from this author and I can't wait to go back and read the others in this series.

A little fun in the sun in Maui who wouldn't like that! Deciding to have a little fun while away for work a little no holds barred sexy fun but its never that easy is it? Striking a deal with the sexy Nick to help her 'relax' but quickly becomes more than a fling. Its sexy, fun and HOT.

Fun and sexy read from Samanthe Beck! I hadn't read the two previous, but I didn't feel left out of anything important. Maybe a little info about their pasts would have been good. She almost lost me with the spanking and anal play (not my thing), but Ms. Beck tells a great story and was able to bring me back into the romance aspects and salvaged the book for me.

Samanthe Beck is one of those authors whose books I absolutely treasure. They are the perfect balance of romantic, funny and sexy (though it is safe to say that she adds some extra dashes of the sexy). I adored each book in the Compromise Me series, but Compromised in Paradise might just be my favorite. I loved the story, but it was this couple that absolutely stole my heart.

I really enjoyed this book! Arden and Nick’s love story was so entertaining. I really enjoyed the story line and the general plot. I loved seeing these characters again and watching them fall in love. Both are gun shy about love and are looking for a no strings fling with an expiration date…well we can all guess how that would go. If you are looking for a fun light hearted story to while away an afternoon look no further, and if you haven’t read them yet I also highly recommend the other two books in this series Compromising Her Position and Hard Compromise. I received an ARC of this book from the publisher through Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

Samanthe Beck continues her Compromise Me series with Compromised in Paradise. The lucky couple falling in love in paradise is hotel heiress Arden St. Sebastian and ER doctor Nick Bancroft. This is the classic take of a one night stand that never ends.

Arden has been dealing with a lot of stress over the past six months or so. Her father has retired from the family business, but continues to question all of her business decisions. He’s also butting into her personal life, after finding out she was being blackmailed by an ex-lover. While she’s on business in Maui, he insists that she goes on a blind date with the nephew of business associates.

Nick is living the dream in paradise. He works hard at the local hospital as an ER doctor. But he also plays the field with tourists visiting the island. He’s not looking for a relationship after a devastating loss. In order to make his aunt happy, he reluctantly agrees to go on a blind date with Arden St. Sebastian.

As you might have guessed, Arden and Nick’s families are trying to set them up with each other. But before this blind date can happen, the two meet each other on their own. Only no names are exchanged and their encounter is supposed to only be a one-night stand. Things change when Nick realizes that Arden faked her climax and gets her to agree to spend the rest of her stay with him, with the end goal of being a mind shattering climax she will never forget.

Both Arden and Nick are likeable characters. They have fun together, both inside and outside of the bedroom. Their encounters aren’t all about the sex itself, but building on trust and intimacy. Nick is a dirty talker who makes Arden say what she likes and what she wants. I loved watching them get to know each other without knowing who the other actually was. More importantly, I loved watching them fall in love and them coming to terms with the feelings that took them by surprise.

Compromised in Paradise is sexy, flirty and fun and HOT!! Arden is a hotel heiress who's stressed, seriously stressed out. Between managing her parents' relationship and her job, she just needs a few days to relax. While in Maui she meets a hot stranger, "Rider," and they engage in a hot little fling with no strings attached. After their first night, though, when Arden fakes her big O, Nick is determined to deliver, and they set off on a sexy, erotic game where she delivers her real name (not Czarina) and he delivers her an O.

I ended up really liking both Nick and Arden. They're well rounded, real characters who have a strong connection. Nick may have come across as a playboy doctor at first, but he is revealed to be a sensitive, sweet man with a big heart. And Arden, poor Arden. She has the biggest heart of them all, always looking out for others and caring for them, when she needed to just spend a little time caring for herself. Of course there's the inevitable miscommunication that leads to her being hurt, but it's resolved quickly (and sweetly). And the epilogue, oh God, it's so sweet!

If you like your romances to be sweet, sexy and witty, Compromised in Paradise is the story for you!

With a heavy heart I had to DNF Compromised in Paradise. I really enjoyed all the other books in this series, and was REALLY looking forward to ARDEN's story. Color me intrigued when Nick was supposed to be her love interest. Unfortunately I couldn't relate to either main characters, but especially Arden got on my nerves. She needed a backbone ASAP!!! The further I got into the book the less I liked her. Her relationship with her dad had me on edge and not the good one. At around 30% I gave up. I'm very sorry and truly disappointed but I couldn't go on. There was just nothing about Arden that appealed to me anymore.

This was the second book in the series, so I will go back and read the first one which was about Rafe, because I have to know what happened. Anyway, this one was about Arden and Nick. Arden is immediately attracted to Nick, even from across the room, but she has such bad luck with men that she is wary of entering in any relationship with him. Nick wants a one night stand with Arden, nothing else, so he proposes a mutual benefit of not stating any fact, no names, no info, and Arden agrees, but the night does not progress as planned and Nick wants more time with Arden, and asks for her whole six days, and she agrees but still no info, and then he gets frustrated because he wants more. and he never wants more. Then her crazy family comes, she finds out who he really is, and thinks he plays her, vice versa, misunderstanding occur, but we have our HEA.

Another awesome read! I was hoping that Nick, after meeting him in a previous book, would get his happily ever after. Who knew it would be with his rival's little sister? So cool. I'm happy that Arden got her "problem" so well taken care of. I absolutely loved this book and know that you will too! So, so hot!

Work consumes Arden St. Sebastian's life, but being in Maui gives her the opportunity to de-stress, especially when she meets Nick Bancroft. However, when she tricks Nick because orgasms don't come easy for her, no matter how good the guy may be, he offers her a deal -- spend six days with him and he'll give her all the orgasms she wants with her having no need to fake them. Yet, when the time comes for the pair to go their separate ways, will Nick be able to win Arden's heart, or will Arden run scared because she's been keeping her identity a secret?

This is the first book I've read by Ms. Beck, and it's a story that I absolutely loved due to the enchanting main characters that feel the need to keep their identities a secret; wonderful dialogue that made this story an absolute page turner because Nick knows how to show Arden a good time both in and out of the bedroom; and the ending that had me completely charmed by the hero's realization of what he wants. The way this story started had me liking the heroine immediately, as she's stressed and knows she needs to find a way to relieve her tenseness. Then again, with an interfering father like hers, who could blame her? Does he not have anything better to do than control every aspect of his daughter's life, even if she doesn't have the best judgment in men?

As for the dialogue, it was riveting and kept me entertained from start to finish due to the main characters back stories and the obstacles these two face on their journey to happy ever after. Neither are looking for forever love because Arden has been hurt in the past and doesn't need to go through that again and the hero lost someone special to him that has left him unwilling to take a chance on love again. Will Arden be able to convince Nick that love is worth taking a risk? Moreover, the heroine is hard-working, tenacious and I liked how she was willing to give Nick a chance to prove he has what it takes to give her what he says he will. I also liked the decision the heroine made when it came to her parents, as she couldn't continue be in the middle of their rocky relationship. While the hero, he's confident, hard-working and I liked how determined he was to win the heroine over. He's fun, loves dirty talk and definitely delivers what the heroine needs and shows her that there's no need for her to fake orgasms.

Overall, Ms. Beck has penned a fun and scorching read in this book where the chemistry and romance between this couple was intense and explosive; the secondary characters in Arden's family, especially her dad, had me smiling because of his need to meddle in her life; and the ending left me completely satisfied because Nick isn't about to let Arden get away, not when he realizes how huge his feelings are for her. However, it was the epilogue that wrapped this story up wonderfully, because of the surprise Nick has for Arden after what she manages to get at Chelsea and her brother's special event. I would recommend Compromised by Paradise if you enjoy island romances, holiday romances, the opposites attract trope or books by authors Cathryn Fox, Rebecca Brooks, Lauren Blakely and Joya Ryan.

I really enjoyed Compromised in Paradise by Samanthe Beck.

The storyline was well written, my interest was held all throughout the book and I loved Nick and Arden. They were smart, likable and endearing characters that entertained me with their antics and I loved watching them fall in love. They shared a strong attraction and the chemistry between them was smoking!

I love Samanthe Beck's writing, she gives her readers entertaining, steamy storylines and wonderful, memorable characters that never fail to leave you with a smile on your face.
The Compromise Me series has been a great read, each book can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend them all.

Arden and Nick are a couple that is meant to be, they just don't know it.
From the get go, this was a fun book. The premise is a little "out there", but works if you are ready for escape. I liked the fact that both Arden and Nick knew the score and went into their "deal" with no pretense.
It was interesting to see them walk the line of sharing and caring, but each trying to maintain the pretense for the other's benefit. I loved watching the "conflict" moments and how Arden's father's well meaning interference swept in and saved the day.
This is part of a series, but as there is minimal character cross over between the other books, it can easily be read as a stand alone. Definitely a book I would recommend if you are looking for a quick, fun read.

I thought this book was pretty good. I have read this author's books before and it had all the elements I have come to expect with her books. It was hot and sexy, sweet and steamy. Arden and Nick share an immediate reaction to each other, but neither is honest with the other about their true selves. Can they share a week exploring the island and each other without revealing their secrets?
