Besides the well-written content, it also has extraordinary photos. The scientific information is presented in a very friendly way, appealing both to curious children and adults, without disadvantaging the quality. The best way to introduce science to little readers.

Engaging picture book for children about bears in the rainforest of British Columbia. Great photographs throughout and lots of fascinating bear facts. Parents may need to define "upending" for little readers but other than that word, the text is child-friendly. Finally--not sure if we misunderstood the following sentence or it's a publisher typo: "A sleeping bear can consume up to four thousand calories a day." Nevertheless, four stars for a fun picture book about bears.

A children's nonfiction picture book with the most beautiful and spectacular pictures about all things bears and their habitats, food, and lifestyles. It is well written and the characters are very impressive, this is a book worth getting your kids especially those interested and keen on animals. Although it tells all about bears and is about bears there are a few other wildlife creatures vying to be noticed. A very interesting and educative book, real nice.
