This was a decent story and I somewhat enjoyed both the hero and the heroine, Reese and Cole. However, nothing really stood out making it a great book.

Fast quick easy read. Hot and steamy with a great storyline and strong well written characters.

I voluntarily read this advanced readers copy of this book.  I have come to love Cathryn's work.  She uses strong characters and a great story line.  I can't wait to read more of this series either.  Lots of twist and turns to keep you entertained.

Loved Cole and Reese! This was such a hot book! I loved all the interactions between the couple and their adventures. I was really glad when they realized their friendship had developed into so much more.

"Under Pressure" is a fun, super sexy Friends-to-Lovers romance in Cathryn Fox's Dossier series.  In general the Dossier series is Ultra Steamy and they get hotter with each book.  This third installment features an Adventure guide Hero and a easily scared veterinarian Heroine.  Reese and her friends made a New Years Resolution to be daring with their sex lives.  Each girl drew a name and must plan a birthday adventure with sexy potential for their 'chosen' friend.  Reese's adventure begins with a cage dive in shark infested African waters.  Luckily the friend who put together her 'dossier' made sure her best friend, Cole Rayburn, would be there for her.  Cole moved to Colorado when Reese got engaged.  But once Reese's engagement failed Cole returned to New York City.  Now that Cole's returned Reese is seeing how hot he's gotten.  But as always Cole's only interested in her friendship.
Reese and Cole have been best friends since they were little kids.  They were each other's support through parental divorces, sickness, death, and storms.  Cole knows Reese better than she does herself and vice-versa.  When Reese got engaged to her douche-y fiancé Cole moved to Colorado and became an Adventure Guide.  Now that Reese's ex dumped her Cole has moved back to New York City.  It seems like all of the activities on Reese's itinerary seem to make her more aware of Cole's hotness.  Rock hard abs shown off during the Great White Shark cage dive.  Strong, warm arms around her in the haunted cave.  Not to mention Cole's intelligence when Reese needs cooling down when the hotel's A/C goes out.  Ice, ice, baby.  Reese's positive Cole still sees her as the chubby little tomboy.  She's certain he's never, and will never, see her as a romantic interest.
Cathryn Fox is a Sex Scene Savant!  Not only Steamy, but Fun and weighty with Emotion.  "Under Pressure" is the perfect Best Friends to Lovers romance:  amusing, thoughtful, and spicy.  So far the Dossier Series is "practically perfect in every way".  Both the Hero and Heroine are likable, charming, and sympathetic.  The book is short, sweet, and steamy so the storyline is rather simple and straight forward.

Under Pressure is a sexy friends-to-lovers romance. Reese is off on the adventure of a lifetime, sent by her friends to celebrate "the second half of my twenties in an epic way--that is, finding a hot guy and having back-bending sex before returning home." And yet, how can she do that when her protective best friend, Cole, is along for the ride, apparently having been sent by whatever well-meaning friend set her up on this adventure.

As they begin their adventure cage diving with sharks, Reese thinks she sees a flash of something unnamed in Cole's eyes, and her body answers back. When Reese tells Cole all about her friends' New Year's Eve pact, Cole takes it upon himself to help her out. "So, by having sex, I'm helping you from becoming a crazy cat lady. And you know, since you're here on this adventure for epic sex, and I don't happen to have any plans, we're killing all kinds of birds with one stone." "So, you're keeping me from becoming a crazy cat lady and helping me fulfill my adventure."

But, can the two best friends really keep the new (well, not so new since they've actually crushed on each other their whole lives, but never let each other know for fear of ruining their friendship) hot chemistry to just this one trip and go back to being just friends when it's over? That's the plan, but we all know that plans rarely go the way they're intended.

I like this third entry in the Dossier series, especially Cole. He was so sweet and so protective of Reese, and when they got together, whew, talk about H O T!!! I really hope there's more to come from this series, because it gets hotter with each story.

I love this amazing author and I love this book. Cathryn Fox knows how to catch your attention and have it all the way through the story/book. She always gives you everything you could want in a book and more which is why her books are always a fantastic and enjoyable read. Would recommend

Reese made a pact with her best friends that they send one another on an epic vacation for their twenty-fifth birthday.  The only requirement-epic sex! When Reese receives her dossier, it contains tickets to Mexico and adventure expeditions while there-including cage diving with sharks! Being a veterinarian, Reese loves all animals.  It's not a far stretch to think she would love an adventure to get up close with a great white. What she doesn't understand is why her forever best friend, Cole, is along for the trip! If she is supposed to find someone to have hot, epic sex with, how will that happen if over-protective Cole is around?

I have loved this Dossier series by Cathyrn Fox and this book is a great addition! Fun, quick reads, Cathryn packs a lot of story in these pages!! Reese, of course, has been dumped in the past, and vulnerabilities are there.  Cole has always been a true friend and a real pick me up when she needed it most.  Having been working across the country from Reese, both realize how much they mean to each other once on vacation.  Now to act on it, or not??

I love best friends to lover's stories and this one works wonderfully.  Totally believable and truthful, you could tell they really cared for each other.  If you are a fan of this trope, then grab this one! Perfect for something in between those long novels! I highly recommend Under Pressure and the entire Dossier series!

Adorable and sexy never looked so good!
 
The fact that Reese and Cole were best friends made their relationship so much more meaningful. Cole knew Reese so well that at times, it almost seemed as if he could read her mind! When there was a storm, he knew instantly that she needed him. Gosh, I wanted a friend like him!
 
I loved Cole's reaction when he noticed Reese checking him out!  It was so cute the way he weighed in his mind what he should do or if he should even think about doing anything about his best friend's new attraction to him. 

Another thing I enjoyed about this story was the way they made their newfound attraction almost into a game. Their friendly banter mixed in with the sexual exploration was quite a good combination. For some reason, it just worked between the two of them.
 
My favorite part, though, was that they had their own special banter that communicated just how much they cared about each other. Whenever one of them would say "I hate you", the other would always say it right back. It was the most endearing exchange every time I read it.
 
Even though this book was short, it seemed like I got just enough development between the two characters that I was very satisfied with how the story played out. This whole series is a must-read!

This is the third book in the series but can easily be read as a standalone,if you have not read the first two though give them a go they are really good books.
This is a really good little read and is a friends to lovers romance.This is Reese and Cole's book after breaking up with her fiance Reese heads to mexico to go cage diving with sharks Cole goes with her and while their they act on the spark between them.
It was short but was a sweet read i liked both of them and was glad they got together they fitted well together.

Reese Scott is determined to have the adventure of a lifetime in Africa including finding a stranger to have hot monkey sex with. However, when she discovers her best friend, Cole Rayburn, is along for the ride she finds her plan changing. Instead, she's going to seduce him. Will Reese be able to convince Cole to give happy ever after a chance or will their fear of losing their friendship keep them apart? 

Although I haven't read the first two books of this series, I found this could easily be read as a stand-alone, and it's a story where the pages flew by due to the tight friendship these two have. Certainly, they challenge each other and made me want to continue reading to see whether the hero would be receptive to the heroine's seduction. Will Reese get her man? Furthermore, the way this story started was completely compelling, because Reese isn't sure she can go through with what she and Cole are about to do on their holiday. Will Cole find a way to calm the heroine's nerves? Will Reese bail on the activity because of her fears? 

As for the dialogue, it made for quick reading due to the wonderful main characters that have been through so much. Why did the hero move away from New York to Colorado? Why does the hero avoid forever after? Moreover, the heroine is courageous when it comes to the adventure she's on and the activities she and the hero take on such as diving with sharks. I also enjoyed the teasing banter between the hero and heroine, especially when it comes  to relationships and what will happen to the heroine if it's true she's off men and done with relationships after what happened with her ex-fiancé. While the hero, he's confident, adventurous, determined to help the heroine have a good time on their adventure, and I liked how determined he was to win the heroine's heart when the time came and it felt like he was going to lose her.

Overall, Ms. Fox has penned a wonderful and sizzling read in this book where the chemistry between this couple was strong; the romance fan-your-face hot because of the hero's dirty talk when it comes to what he's going to do to her; and the ending had me charmed by both the main characters, as they're determined not to lose the one person that means so much to them. Yet, what I liked most about the ending is the surprise the hero had for the heroine. I would recommend Under Pressure by Cathryn Fox, if you enjoy the friends to lovers trope or books by authors Willow Winters, Melissa Foster, Cristin Harber and Amy Brent.

Reese was suppose to experience time of her life in Mexico by shark cage diving, hiking and other outdoor activities after brake up from her fiance.  What she didn’t expect to see was her childhood friend Cole who thrives on outdoor activities. 
They have been great friends but never crossed that line and now they are thrown in together in this adventure and they will find out if they will become adventure fling or more.  
It was short and sweet.  This was first series for me but it could be standalone.  Cole and Reese’s relationship was explained well enough I got most of their back story.  It was cute.  Now i would like to know more about other friend’s adventures.

The third installment of the steamy Dossier Series, Under Pressure follows Reese Scott on her adventure-filled, BFF-funded vacation to South Africa to swim with the sharks…literally.  The only odd catch to this vacation, is that her unbelievably sexy best friend Cole Rayburn is along for the ride.  Though Reese is thrilled to have Cole's strength and comfort on this adventure, the idea behind these trips was for the girls to meet someone and have unbelievable sex…a little awkward with Cole along.  At least, until Reese realizes that her best friend has definitely grown up well…and her thoughts are moving way south of platonic.  Little does Reese know that Cole is just waiting for his chance, and when he gets it…sparks will fly.

With each new installment, I love the Dossier Series even more!  Under Pressure is my favorite so far…though I may have said that with House Rules as well…hmmmmm.  Anyhow, Cathryn Fox totally knows how to write a sexy and fun friends to lovers romance.  I was captivated from the first page to the last!  Reese isn't really quiet and shy, but she isn’t much for adventure, so this trip to swim with the sharks and see the sights of South Africa is definitely out of her comfort zone.  I loved her spunk, her quick wit and adorable personality.  Reese has such a big heart, and love for her friends it’s palpable.  Her connection to Cole is something most of us only dream of, and when it becomes something more, the chemistry is off the charts.  Cole is probably one of my favorite leading men thus far.  His heart is so full and pure, with nothing but love for Reese.  Their relationship so real, so authentic and true.  Needless to say, Ms. Fox has knocked it out of the park again, and I absolutely CANNOT WAIT for the next one…

This is a novella. Our main characters in this story are Reese and Cole. They have been friends since they were children. Reese has been given a trip to go shark cage diving in Mexico by one of her friends and who does she bring but her best friend Cole. Mind you, she just broke up with someone so her spirits are down. There are stipulations to this trip, she has to do something she would never do and she has to have hot monkey sex.

This is an erotic novella so needless to say, there is mostly sex with a little story behind it. The writing is good and the sex is pretty hot and then they have to deal with the dilemma of if they can go back to being friends or if they even want to?

I have thoroughly enjoyed this whole series so far but I must say Under Pressure is my favorite! 
There's just something about a good friends to Lovers story that I love. Add to that the smoking hot scenes that Ms Fox delivers and you have an awesome read!!!

Quick, sexy, best friend, HEA read. Everything happens fast due to the characters having a long previous history, so you don't get to really know the characters. There are a few steamy scenes, but most of the book the characters are inside their heads doing that constant yes no back and forth. I wish this was longer because I could like like the characters if they had some other interactions or something.

4.5 Stars Under Pressure is book three in the Dossier series. Reese and Cole are great characters and with its great suck you in storyline this is a must read for lovers of this genre.

This is a fast-paced read with plenty of steam.  Cole and Reese have been friends forever but when they go on a trip together to swim with sharks, attraction sparks.  Great characters and a great story.  A good read.

Eli Ward  knows someone is leaking information from his business until he could figure who he needs to lay low. He wasn't expecting to have a one night stand that was unforgettable and ending up in a small town, or interested in acquiring the building he is renting from.
Brooke is only interested in not being associated with her wealthy family she just want to live a life under the radar. She will fight for what is right and will always be there for her neighbors. 
Both Eli and Brooke are not happy when they find out who the other one really is nor is she happy when she finds out how his plans will affect her life. 
This story was cute as with most "billionaire Stories" I was expected much more in the heat department, however it still had a story line behind it and it was a fast read.
